Still Called

by Alya Moody

Still Called is a podcast for Christian women who love Jesus and yet sometimes wonder if their purpose has faded. As seasons change, roles shift, children grow, bodies change, and people need us differently than they used to, many women begin to feel less needed or unsure of what their calling looks like now. This podcast is a gentle but clear reminder that God’s calling does not expire. It is not limited to the big or dramatic things, and it does not disappear when certain roles change or never come. We are still called — to belong to Him, to love Him, and to walk in everyday faithfulness and worship right where we are. Host Alya speaks honestly

  1. Still Called to Rest

What if rest has become one of the most unpopular things we can admit to? In a world that celebrates busyness, many of us feel guilty for slowing down. Especially as women in the middle seasons of life, the tiredness is real — in our bodies, our minds, and our hearts. Yet God designed rest as a...

  2. Still Called to Move

What if moving your body isn’t mainly about fitness goals… but about staying able to serve and do the things God has given you to do? In this episode we talk about movement as one practical way we care for the body God designed and called a temple of the Holy Spirit. From the beginning, God…

  3. Still Called to Rewrite the Lies

Small facts in everyday life can quietly grow into heavy lies that steal our inner peace. A skipped workout becomes “I’m a failure.” One glance in the mirror becomes “I’m not enough.” A sharp word to our children becomes “I’ll never change.” In this episode we look at how easily we allow a single...

  4. Still Called to Manage Stress His Way

Before we try to fix everything with a new meal plan or workout routine, we have to care for the mind. In this episode I talk about the order of priorities. As people of God, the mind must be renewed first. We explore what that renewal actually looks like — the deep realization that we are loved…

  5. Still Called to Nourish Well

After 40, many of us notice that the old diets and habits no longer work the same way. What used to bring quick results suddenly feels harder, and it can leave us confused or discouraged. In this episode we talk about nourishment as part of answering God’s call. I share the idea of “God’s food” —...

  6. Still Called to Care for Your Temple

For a long time I kept faith and the care of my body in two completely separate categories. Fitness felt worldly to me — something driven by appearance, size, and comparison. Even as a believer, I struggled with the tension between contentment and wanting to take better care of myself. In this...

  7. Still Called (Introduction)

What if the purpose you’ve been looking for isn’t something that appears and disappears with the seasons… but something that remains because God Himself has called you? In this first episode I share the heart behind Still Called. So many of us reach a point where roles have shifted, children need...
