Viraf Patel prefers to describe himself as a student of storytelling and claims to make the best dhansakh and Parsi chai in Salsette Parsi Colony, Mumbai. He went from being an electrical engineering student by day and a DJ in Pune by night to enlisting in the merchant navy. 5 years later, he went on to win the Mr. India pageant. He made his. TV debut with Yashraj's Mahi Way (streaming on Netflix) and consequently working with Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt, BBC India, Sony TV, Life OK, Star Plus, Viu and Eros Now. He also can be streamed as Prem Ahuja on Ekta Kapoor's Verdict (based on State vs Nanavati) on Zee5. Soon, he'll be seen in Bejoy Nambiar's next feature film alongside Jim Sarbh, Pulkit Samrat and Harshvardhan Rane.
