Chapter 26 speaks on the ways of a fool. What to do & what not to do with a fool. Verse 11 - 2 Peter 2:22. Verse 17 - Luke 12:14. Verse 20 - James 3:6. Verse 28 - 2 Corinthians 4:8-9.

Verse 3 - Roman’s 8:27 & 1 Corinthians 2:10. Verse 6 - James 4:10. Verse 7 - Luke 14:8-11, 1 Corinthians 6:1-8 & like 12:57-59. Verse 14 - Acts 5:1-11. Verse 18-20 - Matthew 5:44-47.

Chapter 18 I talk a little about sins, gossip & how there’s never an excuse to be lazy at work.

In 17 you will hear me talk about sin & how evil will corrupt your house. Verse 9 - Ephesians 5:11 & Luke 12:3. Verse 13 - 2 Samuel 12:10. Verse 22 - Psalms 32:1-4.

In 16, we learn how gossip is so powerful to the point it can separate close friends. Verse 3 - Colossians 3:23. Verse 5 - Genesis 11:1-9. Verse 9 - Ephesians 3:20. Verse 26 - Exodus 20:15.

In chapter 15 you’ll learn how your tongue has more power than you think. Verse 9 - Jude 21. Verse 24 - 2 Corinthians 3:18. Verse 25 - James 4:6 & 1 Peter 5:5. Verse 29 - James 4:8.

Whatever is built on a poor foundation cannot stand. Verse 6 - Matthew 7:7. Verse 21 - Leviticus 18:18 & Matthew 22:39. Verse 28 - Psalms 46:1.

One who is faithful brings goodness to others & themselves. Verse 7 - 2 Corinthians 8:9.

Wisdoms lesson is plain: stop lying & start telling the truth. Verse 2 - 1 John 1:6-7. Verse 12 - John 16:33.

Verse 2 - James 4:6 & 1 Peter 5:5. Verse 4 - Luke 12:33-34. Verse 17 - 2 Samuel 22:26. Verse 25 - Acts 20:35.

In chapter 9 we learn that wisdom has a starting place with God. Also, mockers, aka the wicked man or woman, will hate those who try to give them wisdom. Why? Because they believe their way is right.

I never understood why people doing choose God when he gives you everything & more.

Today I’ll be taking about how the adulterous women (man) lures in their prey. Also, how Gods word is very valuable & how we should keep it, not only in our minds but in our hearts as well.

I learned in Proverbs 6 that to be lazy is not good for anyone. Those who love sleep will inherit poverty, it will come upon you like a thief. Disaster will come to those with a corrupt mouth & who plot evil. Also, Gods word is alive, active & will guide you. Gods word brings light to us in darkness.

You have to remain in wisdom so you can fight temptation. Don’t try to test yourself by thinking you can resist any temptation.

What I took from chapter 4 was that you really have to want it to receive Gods truth. Those who do evil will make evil their everything so you have to stay far away. Also what is in your heart shows, so you have to be on guard against the things around you.

I learned to keep love & faithfulness close to me, especially if I want to be more like Jesus. When we try to go at life alone we’re saying that we don’t trust God. Being close with God keeps us far from evil. Wisdom is all that we need because everything else will be added.

I learned in Proverbs 2 that we must apply ourselves if we want to have wisdom. God guards those who walk in his ways. Having wisdoms helps you know if you’re walking down the right path.

In chapter 1 of Proverbs I learned that the beginning to having wisdom is to fear the Lord. We must be willing to put our foolish ways aside to gain wisdom & understanding.
