Suncrest Church

Our weekend experiences are centered around Jesus. Whether you call yourself a Christian or not, we believe that what Jesus taught his followers can help anyone be better at life and make their life better.

  1. 397

    Kindness

Kindness is more than being nice. It’s seeing a need—and choosing to meet it.Real kindness is often inconvenient. Sometimes undeserved. Always selfless. It’s the kind of life the Holy Spirit grows in us as we learn to look beyond ourselves and love the people around us.The question isn’t just, “Am I a kind person?” It’s, “Who needs my kindness today?”

  2. 396

    Don't Regret It

Most regrets don’t show up all at once. They start with small decisions, repeated over time.A habit you ignore. A relationship you neglect. A warning sign you explain away. A pace you keep even though you know it’s unsustainable.Wisdom isn’t just knowing what’s right. It’s seeing where today’s choices are taking you before you get there.Because the good old days aren’t just something to appreciate or create. They’re something you can still avoid losing.

  3. 395

    Create It

The life you want tomorrow is usually built by the choices you make today. We all want peace, healthy relationships, financial stability, and a deeper life with God. But those things rarely happen by accident.Wisdom is the ability to see that today is connected to yesterday—and tomorrow is connected to today. The good old days aren’t just something you remember. They’re something you create.

  4. 394

    Appreciate It

We spend a lot of life looking backward or looking ahead. Thinking about what was. Planning for what might be. Worrying about what could happen next.Meanwhile, the life we’re longing for is happening right now.Jesus consistently pulled people back to today—to the people in front of them, the opportunities around them, and the God who is present with them.Because the past and future only matter in how they shape the present. The good old days aren’t behind you. They might be happening right now.

  5. 393

    I Don't Give

Trust is easy when the numbers work. It’s harder when they don’t.Most of us don’t struggle to trust God in theory. We struggle to trust him when it affects our money, our security, and our plans.Because at some point, generosity stops being a math question and becomes a trust question. Not: “Can I afford to give?”But: “Do I trust God enough to put him first?”

  6. 392

    I Don't Have A Plan

A lot of us are living with financial stress because we never made a plan for our money—we just kept hoping a little more would fix it.

  7. 391

    I Love Money

Money isn’t bad. But there’s a difference between using money… and loving it.

  8. 390

    Words of Love

You don’t have to say “I love you” to mean it.But a lot of us go through life assuming people just know. They know I care. They know I appreciate them. They know how I feel. And sometimes the people closest to us are starving for words we thought were obvious.Because love is more than a feeling you carry internally. Love moves toward people. Love gives itself away. Love gets espressed. Not perfectly. Not dramatically. But consistently. The message of Jesus is built on love. Not shallow love. Not sentimental love. Real love that shows up, sacrifices, forgives, stays, and gives itself for others. This might change how you talk to your spouse, your kids, your friends, your parents—even the people you assume already know. This week, don’t just feel love.Say it. Show it. Live like people need to hear it.

  9. 389

    Words of Gratitude

You don’t just need to feel grateful. You need to say it.Because sometimes the words we never say carry more weight than we realize. Most of us aren’t trying to be ungrateful. We’re just tired. Busy. Moving from one thing to the next. And somewhere along the way, gratitude becomes something we feel generally but express rarely. But “they know” is not the same thing as “I said thank you.”Unexpressed gratitude can start to feel like ingratitude—not because we don’t care, but because the people around us can’t feel what we never say.And gratitude doesn’t just encourage them. It changes us.It interrupts entitlement. It reminds us we didn’t get here alone. It helps us notice the people, gifts, grace, and goodness we’ve started to take for granted. This week, don’t just feel it. Say it.Seven days. Seven specific thank-yous.Use this sentence: “Thank you for ________. It mattered because ________.”

  10. 388

    Words of Support

You don’t need someone to fix it.You need someone who won’t leave.Because when life gets heavy, most of us don’t need better advice—we need to know we’re not alone in it.But that’s harder than it sounds. We try to help from a distance. We rush to solutions. We quietly expect people to figure it out.And without realizing it, we miss what actually matters most.Real support sounds like: I’m with you.Not when it’s easy. Not when you have the answer. But right in the middle of it.This might change how you show up in your closest relationships—your spouse, your friends, your family—and what it looks like to actually support someone when they need it most.Try this this week: Choose one person and one situation… and simply show up and say, “I’m with you.”

  12. 386

    Words of Vision

You don’t need more advice. You probably don’t even need more accountability. What you might need… is someone to see something in you that you can’t see yet.Because most of us are walking through life shaped more by what’s been said about us than what’s been called out of us. And the truth is—your words are doing that for other people, whether you realize it or not.You can criticize what’s obvious… or you can call out what’s possible. That shift changes how you show up in your relationships—at home, at work, and in the everyday moments that actually matter. This might change how you speak to your spouse, your kids, your coworkers—even yourself.Try this for one week: Look at people and say, “I see in you…”—and mean it.

  13. 385

    Words of Affirmation

You don’t need more advice. You probably don’t even need more accountability. What you might need… is someone to notice what you’re doing right.Because most of us are walking through life carrying way more criticism than encouragement—and it’s shaping us more than we think. The truth is, your words carry weight. They can build someone up, or slowly tear them down. And most of us underestimate how much they stick. This might change how you talk to your spouse, your kids, your coworkers—even yourself.Try this for one week: pick three people, and tell them—clearly and specifically—“well done.”

  14. 384

    Resurrection

Everything we believe rests on the resurrection of Jesus. He is God’s son who died on the cross for our redemption. In the resurrection, He demonstrated He is Lord of all.

  15. 383

    Salvation

Salvation is an act of God’s love and grace, free to anyone who trusts Christ as Lord.

  16. 382

    Sin

Sin is our rebellion against God. It generates the brokenness we experience in this world, and the need for redemption in Christ.

  17. 381

    Human Beings

Human Beings were created in the image of God, but we have all trusted ourselves instead of Him, resulting in sin.

  18. 380

    Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit lives in believers and provides everything necessary to live within the will of God.

    Podcast

  20. 378

    God

God is relational. He is the sovereign Creator and the Lord of all that exists. He is one and yet exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  21. 377

    Intro/The Scriptures

The Scriptures accurately document the story of God, describing four movements:• Creation itself was perfect.• Our rebellion breeds the Brokenness we experience.• Yet, God loves us as we are and provides for Redemption in Christ.• Ultimately, one day God will bring the Restoration of all things. As followers of Jesus, we embrace the New Covenant Christ established, a calling to love people just as Christ loved us.

  23. 375

  29. 369

    New Year Alignment

After the holidays, many of us don’t need a fresh start — we need a realignment. This online-only weekend offers a simple, grace-filled way for individuals, couples, and families to begin the new year rooted, connected, and intentional.

  30. 368

    The Presence of Christ

What if Christmas isn’t about us finding God—but realizing God came to us?We're stepping in to see how Jesus enters the world not with power or prestige, but with presence. While Rome rules from a throne, God shows up in a manger—close, personal, and for everyone.Jesus reveals a God who is both holy and relational, full of grace and truth. And because God is with us, hope, love, joy, and peace aren’t just ideas—they’re possible. This is the good news of Christmas: you don’t have to go somewhere to find God.He’s already here.

  31. 367

    The One I Lost

There’s an empty seat at the table this Christmas… and nobody talks about it—but everyone feels it.In the final week of Wish You Were Here, we’re not rushing grief or slapping a bow on pain. We’re slowing down with Immanuel—God with us and the story of Lazarus (John 11) to see a surprising truth: before Jesus fixes anything, He joins us in it.

  32. 366

    Podcast

Greg & Mitch cover A LOT of the questions we couldn't get to during the Live Q&A!

  33. 365

    The One I'm Strained With

Luke’s story—and the rest of Scripture—keeps pointing to a God who brings peace right into the middle of strained, messy relationships. From Jesus choosing humility, to being called the Prince of Peace, to the challenge to forgive like we’ve been forgiven, the invitation is clear: peace starts with us.If bitterness, anger, or tension is part of your story right now, this one hits close to home. And honestly—what would it look like to take one step toward peace?

  34. 364

    The One Far From God

Luke’s story of Jesus shows a God who keeps moving toward people who feel far from Him. From angels announcing “good news,” to the lost sheep, to Jesus saying “Father, forgive them,” it all points to this: Jesus shows up for the ones who feel lost.If you’re looking for guidance, strength, love, or peace…this might hit home. And real talk—who’s someone in your life who might need that, too?

  35. 363

    One Choice Away From Change

  42. 356

    Grumpy or Grandpa God?

We all build replicas of God — versions that miss who He really is. Some see a Grumpy God you can appease but never please. Others imagine a Grandpa God who just wants you happy. But Jesus shows us a better way — a Father who doesn’t just love you, but likes you.He wants sons, not servants. He’s after your flourishing, not just your fun.And He invites you to trade the immediate for the ultimate.Based on Luke 15 and Hebrews 12, this message helps us see God not as grumpy or soft — but as good.

  43. 355

    Fix-Me-Up God

Most of us don’t reject God — we just want Him to work the way we think He should. We pray, “God, fix my life. Fix my stress. Fix my family.”And when it doesn’t happen the way we imagined, we start wondering if He’s even listening. We're kicking off with the story of Naaman — a powerful man who wanted a miracle on his own terms, and what happened when God invited him into something better. It’s a story about pride, process, and the kind of faith that doesn’t just ask God to fix us, but to form us.If you’ve ever tried to use faith as a quick solution, or you’ve felt like God didn’t show up how you expected, this message might reframe everything.

  49. 349

    It May Not Work

Let’s be real—most people won’t risk something unless they know it’ll pay off. But life with God doesn’t come with guarantees. Do the right thing? Trust Him? Surrender control? It may not work. At least not the way you expect. This isn’t about easy answers or fake promises—it’s about finding out if there’s more strength in surrender than in fighting battles you can’t win.

  50. 348

But here’s the truth: avoiding pain doesn’t make it go away — it makes it worse. We're sharing real stories — from a busted floor to a friend who found freedom from addiction — to show how James (Jesus’ brother) was right:👉 It might hurt… but the path is still through the pain.If you’ve been stuck, resisting change, or holding back from surrendering to God, this one’s for you.
