We stand in awe and amazement at the grace of Jesus ... He voluntarily went from riches to poverty. Because He did, we went poverty to riches.

We should somewhat know about this woman--she was a rejoicing Mother. This morning we will see three (3) traits that Hannah, the rejoicing Mother, had.

Revival is a sovereign work of God. We need revival!

God appointed all things in His creation--including man. Adam willfully sinned against God, and as such, abounded sin and death for all man. In Jesus, the man who knew no sin, abounds grace and the gift of eternal life. We should be grateful for Jesus Christ!

April showers do bring May flowers! Oftentimes we endure April just so we can get to that sunny time in May and enjoy those beautiful flowers! But, April showers are literally a blessing as well! Today, let's take note as to how God prepares and brings (those) blessings.

In order to have a right view of the house of God, we need to have the right view of the God of the house of God.

The institution of the church was founded and established by Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry. Isaac, fearing for Jacob's life, sends him away to find a wife. On his journey he experiences the presence and glory of God, at the place he esteems as where God resides; the house of God.

Sunday, the first day of the week, they brought spices for the anointing of Jesus's body, but He was not there. There were two men (angels; messengers) there instead, with the Gospel message.

The 'Golden Rule', as defined by Charles Dickens, was not "quoted" from the Scriptures per se, but is taught by our Lord Jesus. Today, we will look at three (3) aspects derived from our text (Matthew 7:12).

Deep theological question. Why did Israel wander in the wilderness for 40 years? Moses was too stubborn to stop and ask for directions. In our text today, we see Jeremiah drawing an image from travelers on the wrong road--they have forgotten (or forsaken) the old paths. In our text we can see four (4) insights we can learn regarding the importance of staying on the old paths.

Affliction comes to everyone eventually--all for God's honor and glory. The verses in our message give us explanation and counsel regarding those times of affliction.

Jesus demonstrates His devotion to His Father's will. And, His desire toward those for whom He came.

Habakkuk was having a hard time singing a new song. All he could see was violence and threatening oppression of the people of Israel--there seemed to be no answer from the Lord! As God speaks to Habakkuk and govern his thinking, He moves him into the position He wants Habakkuk to be in.

The Luxor Lamp (sky beam), located on top of the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, is the world's most powerful man-made light. It is visible from over 270 miles away. Yet, it pales by comparison to God's word. Light is so important--it is fundamental for our survival. God's word is a lamp and a light for Christian living.

We should look to God's word regarding legal immigration, versus heeding to opinions and blame. God provides instruction addressing legal immigration within a nation.

Consider the locust. It was designated as clean, and could be eaten (Lev 11:21,22). Individually, they are small, but in large numbers, they are quite compelling! What is it about them that could compel us to be better church members?

Today is National Sanctity of Human Life Day, declared by Pres Ronald Reagan on June 22, 1984. It is gut-wrenching to reflect on our country's attitude toward human life. God values human life--do we?

We tend to take a skeptical view of jailhouse conversions. However the Scriptures demonstrate that God, in His infinite grace and mercy, can save even the most notorious people, such as the Philippian jailer.

The text for our message describes God--He is ALWAYS righteous! He gave us the means--the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ His Son and our Savior--to confess our sins. And He is faithful and just to forgive us (of) our sins. He truly is a gracious God!

The text for our message today conveys David's joy and cheerfulness in attending service to worship the Lord. Are you glad to go to church?

We watched in horror as Charlie Kirk and Iryna Zarutska were brutally murdered. What should we do? Paul warned Timothy of perilous times by providing 3 keys to surviving. We too should heed Paul's counsel.

As Patriot Day, the solemn day of mourning for those killed on 9/11, approaches, we should remember our battle against spiritual terrorists. Paul provides 3 exhortations to the Philippian church that will also help us.

The iron is the tool used to chop down the tree. We must make sure our spiritual iron is sharp and ready to use.

Satan's "trick of doubt" derived in the garden. We have--at some points in our lives (even as Christians)--doubted! So, how do we know that we are truly saved? John wrote to instill confidence and certainty, that through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we are children of God--saved eternally!

God gave direction for every detail of worship/service in the tabernacle. Examples can be seen in our text that serves the center of our message today. The ointment/incense ingredients were prescribed by Him, just as the worship, reading and preaching is prescribed. He sets apart pastors to do this--like the apothecary of old.

What a blessed verse! As Isaiah is penning this prophecy, a song is made that details God's blessings upon His people. In this time--even--we can focus on His blessed peace! Here we see four features that make up His peace.

Believers are to glory only in the Lord.

Jesus cuts to the heart of the matter -- new creatures in Christ will battle the enticement that leads to sin.

Sometimes we Christians act like Philistines. We relegate the True God to just another option in our temple of idols. This sermon challenges us not to make the same mistakes as the Philistines.

In this message, we address the third (of three) actions the church is involved in; considering what a deacon actually does. The church should publish the duties of what a deacon does.

Paul placed an extreme amount of importance on this office; qualifications bare similar importance as to the pastor, bishop or elder. In this lesson we examine the church role in practicing discretion in selecting deacon(s).

God's Word is not restrictive to the child of God. Actually, the Word brings liberty. We must live in accordance with His Word!
