-
In a perfect world: How would I introduce a new system
I’m going to use GURPS as my example for this pod cast though it applies to pretty much much any game. Introducing new systems: Where I think I failed in the past, and how I would introduce a “crunchy“ system to a group. Also a side bar on when I would use a rules light system like VIRTUAL HEROE...

A real weekend - where I kind of did TTRPG things.
It’s Monday and this is the stew being served. I got to work on my AAIE monster book this weekend. Which surprised even me. And I digress about AI art, genre how suddenly all of it is looking the same to me.

Being hyper fixated on remapping my Aleria campy, was both counterproductive and probably would have doomed this reboot to an early death. Moving on from that issue have a new issue how do I make decisions meaningful.

How do we continue? Is time the greatest enemy? The selection of system? Nostalgia? Listen as I walk around my neighborhood talking to myself.
-
An opinion: Game design should embrace character change.
Sometimes a player just can’t plan ahead for party changes , character development and so on … a system should take that into account.
