HARDY at 'Stars and Strings'
Inside the Hard Rock Artist Lounge at our 'Stars and Strings' show in Hollywood, FL, HARDY updated us on Dad Life, talked touring, the emotions of "Dog Years," and more with TC & Dina B. Plus, the singer did a blind ranking of songs you have to see. "It's just different," HARDY admits about being a father. "I mean, everything is just everything, every decision that you make revolves around having a child now and it's from as small as 'do I have time to go to the bathroom?' to 'how many shows should I play next year?' and everything in-between. It's crazy." HARDY is hot off the release of his new album, 'COUNTRY! COUNTRY!,' featuring the emotional song, "Dog Years," which he tells us came from a real life moment with his childhood dog. "That song changed my life," he says. "I wrote that song shortly after my longtime 15 year childhood dog died." "I was still in college and I'd gone home for Christmas," he remembers. "I knew that when I left like I wasn't gonna see him again. We let him in, he's an outside dog, and we let him in because it was really cold that night and I remember he would sleep right by our utility room in there. I was leaving the next morning and I went in there and I laid down with him and I just, you know, I fell asleep and I woke up at like 5AM. I just laid on the floor with him and fell asleep. I got up and got my stuff and drove back to Nashville and my dad called me like the next day or two days after and said that he had died. So that one came from the heart." For more on touring and to watch HARDY do a blind ranking of his songs, check out the full conversation above.

Zach Top at 'Stars and Strings'
Inside the Hard Rock Artist Lounge at our 'Stars and Strings' show in Hollywood, FL, we had a lot of laughs with Audacy 'LAUNCH' artist Zach Top. From field goal kicking with Pat McAfee to this 9-year-old talent that you probably never knew he had, TC & Dina B talked with Top about it all. When asked if there's something that people don't know about Zach Top that he would like them to know, Zach took his time before revealing his special skill. "I'll tell you this, I used to be able to hold my breath for a long time and swim underwater," he says proudly. "You're laughing, but I was something else. There wasn't another damn 9-year-old that could swim 200 meters with their breath held." "I don't know if [I'm a] fish but amphibious definitely nicked me. I was maybe a little bit amphibious, at least." Add that to the list of Zach Top conspiracies. One thing that's not up for debate though is Top's success and it culminating in 5 CMA Awards nominations for this month's show. "It's cool to see all of your peers and other industry members, people that are in the same business as you giving you a pat on the back and being like, 'hey man, you're doing a good job,'" says Zach. "Feels really, really nice. I'm very, very thankful for it and I hope I just keep working hard and trying to keep on putting out good songs and singing okay and playing okay and, I'm just very thankful that people really enjoyed. It means a lot to me and I love doing this so the fact that other people enjoy it too it means the world to me." To hear more from Zach on the "little lady friend" in his life and behind-the-scenes of football kicking adventure, check out the full conversation above.

Nate Smith at 'Stars and Strings'
Inside the Hard Rock Artist Lounge at our 'Stars and Strings' show in Hollywood, FL, Nate Smith detailed a few of the moments we'd only seen glimpses of on social media. From backyard gun ranges to cooking hacks, the "Bulletproof" singer really does do it all. "So I'm calling it the 'Bulletproof Range,' obviously, gotta do that," Nate says of his new backyard gun range. "I got yelled at yesterday by my neighbors. They cussed me [out]. It was like 9:30. I wanted to test it out, so I was shooting out there. It was a little loud and a little late, and [he] literally just goes, 'it's a Wednesday night!' He goes, 'go find a gun range!'" "I'm like, 'I am the gun range sir!'" "So I texted my neighbor because I'm like, 'he's never yelled at me before. I gotta figure this out.' So I texted him and and he's like, 'it wasn't me,'" adds Smith. "So I gotta say sorry to someone." Another amazing moment captured on socials by Nate Smith is his four-wheeler goggle onion hack, where the singer has stopped the threat of tears with the right level of protection. "Tell me that wasn't smart," he smiles. "I remember as a kid my mom cutting onions and I'm just like crying in the other room like, 'God, but I love tuna casserole.'" Now he's figured out a way to have his casserole without crying. "Not a tear." To hear more from Nate Smith about his end of tour gift from Jason Aldean and his upcoming collab with Tyler Hubbard, check out the full conversation above.

Dasha at 'Stars and Strings'
Inside the Hard Rock Artist Lounge at our 'Stars and Strings' show in Hollywood, FL, Dasha sat down with TC & Dina B, which in itself is a feat considering her choice to opt for "stand-up jeans" rather than "sit-down jeans." "Sometimes there's outfits that are just so good that you're like, 'it's worth it.' I can't really breathe or sit, but I look really cute," smiles Dasha. "Suffocating a little bit, but we look good." Dasha took the stage at 'Stars and Strings,' en route to a new album and celebrating her recently released EP, 'Anna.' "I feel like because 'Austin' got so big so fast, I mean overnight I was like known as the 'boots' girl, you know, it was pretty cool, but I felt like I had to kind of take a few steps back and explain, 'hey, this is who I am and this is where I come from," Dasha says. "I'm from California and I grew up on Country music and I love storytelling and kind of rewinding in that way, and also sharing that since I was a little girl like I've never wanted to do anything else with my life except for what I'm doing." "Doing what I'm doing is just like absolutely insane to me because it's actually my dreams coming true," she adds. Anna is the artist's first name, though her family has always called her by her middle name, Dasha. "My family's always call me Dasha. Dash is what my friends call me," she explains. "I do not respond to Anna. It's just like calling me Fred. Like lights on, no one home." Now that the EP is out, Dasha is working on her next album, titled 'Dasha.' "Everything's just kind of coming together right now. We're just like literally on a call about it and I'm just like getting giddy," says Dasha. "Songwriting is my favorite part of all this craziness, so I'm just getting a little geeked up and excited to write it." With Dasha set to hit the road with Tucker Wetmore, TC & Dina B also had to ask about the duo's relationship. "Tucker is bestie. We love Tucker," she admits. "I feel like our stars kind of rose at the same time, so all of a sudden we're just everywhere at the same time, our managers are really good friends and our crews are really good friends, like our bandmates and everyone." "We're just really good friends and, I mean I do love taking videos of him working out and stuff and they go viral and it's kind of fun. It's entertaining for me as much because I'm providing for the girl community. You're welcome. Tucker's bestie." To hear more from Dasha in the Hard Rock Artist Lounge, check out the full interview above.

Bailey Zimmerman talks with TC & Dina B. at Stars & Strings 2024
After a whirlwind couple of years dropping hits and touring the world with Morgan Wallen, Bailey Zimmerman officially has album number two on the brain, and he’s taking his time to get it just right. Hanging backstage ahead of his performance at Audacy’s Stars & Strings Presented By Discover® at the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL, Bailey Zimmerman caught up with TC & Dina B. to chat about everything from FB Marketplace, a potential collab with Morgan Wallen, taking his time on his next album, and more. After exchanging some best practices to go about doing the safest FB marketplace exchange, Bailey addressed all the talk of a Morgan Wallen collab, admitting, “Your guess is as good as mine… I don't know what's going on.” “I don't know,” he continued, “we're both really busy, so we haven't really got the chance to get together or hang out and write a song, but I'd imagine one day," going on to add, “I would love a collab with Morgan. but in due time.” As TC pointed out, “something that I think we've waited maybe enough time for now, that you can control is album number two,” asking “do we have any news on that?” “So, last year it was like a big year, we did a lot of things,” Bailey expressed, “and when we were getting ready to go cut this next album… I was gonna put it out last year, but then it just didn't feel right.” “I wasn't super in love with some of the songs. I kind of needed a break anyways just from life and what's going on… So I've kind of took this year to live more, to just give myself more time to maybe write songs that I wouldn't have got to put on this album,” he says. While he acknowledged “I know people wanted me to” put out his album last year, himself included, “sometimes you got to do what's best for you, and at the time, I really needed a break. I needed some downtime just to, not only chill, but like reminisce on what's been going on,” Zimmerman expressed. “You know, we've done two years, almost three, years of tour with Morgan,” and “a lot of stuff before that. So it was nice to take this year… take it all in and… get some relationships better in my life… work on myself as well.” But now that’s all in the past. “Right now I'm like full album mode,” Bailey shared, “I'm cutting songs,” noting “I've got a lot of songs that I'm really in love with and I'm continuing to get songs each day too.” “So I'm kind of just taking my time and I really... I want every single song to be something that I'm so proud of,” he added. Bringing up his debut album, Religiously, Bailey noted “There was a lot of songs I love, but there was also a couple of songs that I put on there that I didn't super love… They were good, but this time I wanted to be like, I love this, I'm dying to put this out. So that's where I'm trying to get to, to where I'm like, I gotta get this out, I’m ready to go.” Admitting that’s actually “where I'm at,” Bailey’s busy cutting songs in the studio… Not only that but tracking songs, getting them ready to put out.” And as of now, his plan is to try to put out a single in January. While it’s still very much in the works, Bailey did reveal “This next album, it's really just gonna be a lot of reminiscing on just the hard battle that it was to get here and, and the things that I've kind of been through, and a certain relationship that I had to go through, that's where it stems from a lot.” “It's so funny, Bailey imparted, “because it actually like really relates to my real life. I’ve really been trying to put it to bed and I can't seem to put it to bed in my mind. And every day I think about it and I really want this album to be something that kind of puts that to bed for me and I can, like, move on from it.” Sharing that as another reason “why I think why I'm taking my time.” To “really make sure I get everything that I wanna say out.” To close out the ...

Riley Green backstage with TC & Dina B. at Stars & Strings 2024
If you’re wondering how often someone comes up to Riley Green to tell him they’re drunk and that “you look like you love me,” the answer is about “six or seven times a day.” Hanging backstage ahead of his performance at Audacy’s Stars & Strings Presented By Discover® at the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL, Riley Green caught up with Kiss Country 99.9's TC & Dina B. to chat all about pick up lines, hit songs, Ella Langley, his dogs, and more. Noting how his duet with Ella is kind of like a pickup line from the female's point of view, TC was curious if Riley is a pickup line kind of guy. “I think I get nervous,” Riley admitted, adding, “Now my dad, he's got them, my dad throws up pickup lines on any girl he's ever met.” Sharing, “He told some girl the other day she was so pretty, he couldn't hear out of his left eye. I don't know what that means, but I like it, makes you think.” In addition to his duet, Riley also has his Don’t Mind If I Do single “Damn Good Day To Leave,” both of which, as TC put it, “are on fire right now.” Sharing what it’s like having both songs get so much love at the same moment, Riley said, “what's cool about having two songs that are getting played on the radio and inside the Top 20… is you get to really see them grow every week. Every single show you play, they sing it louder and louder.” “I remember the first single I had, 'There Was This Girl,'" Riley reflected, “That was a big hit for me, and I got to watch that as it went up the charts. So that's always exciting and you got something to look forward to every week.” While Dina B. spoke for all the single girls out there, claiming she prefers Riley remains single, to “pretend like you're ours.” There are still many out there who have been influenced by his vocal chemistry with Ella Langley and actually want them to be a couple IRL. Acknowledging why he thinks that is, Riley said, “The same reason I think that like George and Tammy… Johnny Cash and June Carter, and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. It's like everybody just wants to believe in that couple, you know, if you can have that.” He continued, “Obviously, we've got two songs together, they’re doing really well,” referring to “You Look Like You Love Me” and “Don’t Mind If I Do.” Noting, “It’s a cool thing to see fans really latching on to both of us kind of at the same time. We've been on tour together, we're going back on tour together, so it's really cool to watch that kind of happen, and I'm really happy for her success too. Speaking of couples, Riley also caught us up on his pups, sharing, “I haven't seen a lot of Carl and Carol Anne lately,” and how his mom and sister have been sending videos of them to keep him updated. Also admitting that Carl (the corgi), who usually accompanies Riley on tour, is probably “missing the spotlight.” Circling back to the topic of duets, of which Riley has many, the singer shared how he goes about delivering those fan favorites during a show when his collab partner isn’t there. “Well, I usually put a wig on… No, I mean… I've gotten some fans out of the crowd, that goes one of two ways,” Green said. “Sometimes it's really good and sometimes it's not.” Recalling, “I think probably the best fan step in we had was in Australia the other day. We had some couple of girls get up and they just stole the show.” To close out the conversation, after being reminded he’s a part owner of a bar in Nashville, Riley, who actually “didn't think I would be in the bar business,” noted, “but I thought a place called The Duck Blind would be somewhere I'd like to go hang out. And it's been fun to have that… with a buddy of mine in Nashville." Adding, “That building is where I met a lot of people I have relationships with now — songwriters and other artists. So it's cool to kind of have that place and watch some new up-and-com ...
