Breaking down Mississippi State's series at Texas
The Diamond Dawgs dropped the series at No. 4 Texas. Robbie Faulk breaks down all three games — from a Game 1 offensive performance that saw 19 strikeouts and left runs on the board, to a gutsy Game 2 highlighted by a Drew Wyers three-run home run in the seventh, to a Game 3 that slipped away after a 5-0 lead and a Bryce Chance grand slam couldn't hold up against a nine-run inning. The good, the bad, and what needs to be cleaned up. Mississippi State still controls its own destiny for a national seed, but the margin for error is thin. Part of State 1878 Podcasts.
