Identity . . . can we talk about it !? What are you rooted in? How do you show up in a room? SO many questions and so little time. We can talk about this through a number of different avenues, but tonight we chose this specific way. . We delve into choices and what we ought to get into as adults regarding what makes us who we are. Identity - Definition ( I got two for ya ) 1. the fact of being who or what a person or thing is.2. "Identity" refers to the unique combination of qualities, beliefs, characteristics, and affiliations that make a person or group distinct and recognizable, forming their sense of self and providing continuity over time. It encompasses who someone is, their personal experiences and values, and how they are perceived by others. Scriptures we touched on Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;Colossians 2:10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all [b]principality and power.
