Why you're bad with money. It's not what you think.

Intersections of money issues, spiritual control and CPTSD are complex. Topics in the episode include why therapy might be failing you, the limitations of somatic therapy, why mapping the bigger picture is important, now Internal Family Systems can help and four things I recommend to get started on developing your autonomous self. The content of this podcast is for educational and informational purposes only. Thaw.

As L.L. Cool J once said: Dreams don't have deadlines. But due to things like ADHD and CPTSD, the dream is remembering what my dream is, stressing that my dream is tangled up in generational trauma, inching toward that (maybe mine, mine not) dream only to battle things like nervous system freeze, social anxiety, migraines, and self-sabotage. What was my dream again? You with me? For people like you and me, the dream is finding a sense of relaxation in our bodies and relational stability in the world. So we can, you know, know what we want and then actually step toward it.Things like neurodivergence, betrayal, narcissistic parents, being around addiction, attachment stress, sensory processing disorder, medication sensitivity, living under the poverty line, emotional strain, autoimmune disease...these things are a lot on their own, but taken together many of the very useful tools offered in traditional models of health and wellness fall short. If you're not sure where to start, neither am I. Start with episode 1 like I did.Eras take time. Doesn't matter how long you've been frozen. You getting curious cracks the ice. Let's thaw this ice age together.
