I Was...But Am Not Now...
In every season seems to be the Lord gently nudging us to become more of that which He has designed. In most seasons I must lay down some things to pick up the fullnes of MY cross. In that also, I find that often through the lives of those I serve, and from my own seasons with Jesus, I've found myself waiting on something, or someone, to move forward. Yet, it just never happens. Both of these things, we will talk about today.

Discerning a Move of God
By now you know that I believe everything is a teachable moment. Every correction I've had to make in ministry, every move of God that suddenly unfolded, and all the life lessons that come with following Jesus.Today, I wanted to share how God unfolded His heart for us to prepare for a new season with a publishing team He clearly put together. Anytime God unfolds a matter it is refreshing to know I simply had nothing to do with it.

Raw Honesty-It's Time for It
An unexpected reminder from the Lord today to be transparent and authentic in this life with Christ. To allow others to hear your war stories and how Christ brought you into victory.

Surely, Goodness and Mercy
We wrap up our walk through Psalm 23 today with the final verse. I sure hope you see how this Psalm is walking us through so much with the Good Shepherd. He is always leading, guiding, comforting, protecting, and positioning us. We are going somewhere with Him and all He does is from the position of the Chief Shepherd. Fully good, fully trustworthy, and fully faithful.

He Prepares a Table
This week we continue walking through Psalm 23 and land at verse 5. As I mentioned last week, this sweet Psalm is packed full of positioning from beginning to end.Today, we get to see what it means for Him to prepare us a table.

He Restores My Soul

Just Because I Can...
Whew...I was walking through the house when out of my mouth came, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!." It's always amazing when the Lord uses your own mouth, isn't it?It stopped me in my tracks right then and there.Don't worry you'll get Psalm 23 some more this week also but this week you get an extra podcast simply because He had more to say to us this week!

Psalm 23-Part 1
This week Psalm 23 was brought back to me. I honestly thought I had walked through this Psalm with you all after my sabbatical but it appears I did not. And if for some reason we did, I slept, and we are doing it again:)Today, I wanted to start this conversation again because God has fed me this passage the entire year of 2025.He has needed me to remember that He is My Shepherd and after doing a deep dive into Psalm 23, line by line, I have found that it is much deeper and wider that I knew.Don't you love when God uncovers His mysteries? Can't wait to hear what He shows you too!

Prioritizing God's Plan-(Learning Well Time Management)
I was driving again to love on my new grandbaby when I felt a bit of a stir to discuss the important of proritizing our to-do list and growing stronger in good time management. When God calls you to a "thing" you will need to work hard to maintain a handle on your priorities in any given season by looking well into your time managment behaviors. I'll share some ways that have helped me manage multiple outreaches, or projects, and keeps balls from dropping all over the place. In the Kingdom, we want to operate in excellence. So, let's talk about it.

Playing it Safe
I was working on mailing out newspapers when I began pondering the way some “play it safe” in the Kingdom. So, I decided to grab my phone and just talk about it.Forgive the noise of shuffling papers. It is real life in the ministry😘

Let's Talk About Friendship
A phrase kept being mentioned during our Christmas Party as we reflected on what all the Lord had done in our lives this year. It came back to my heart today to give it some time for a good discussion.Perhaps we need to let the Lord help us love better in friendships, so let's just talk about it.

Entering into Their Labors..(John 4:28)
I ran across a scirpture this morning that caused me to pause and ponder. I think often we forget the ways of God in many matters. Christ has puzzle pieces that are me and you and we are dispactched for certain assignments in certain seasons. However, this passage helps me understand that while I might feel frustrated in wanting a certain outcome...perhaps, God's ways are simply different.Let's take a look at it together...

How God Trained Me Early On in What Seemed Like "Little Things."
God knew what I would be doing today even when I did not. But now that I can look back on my life I can see how God was training me when I had no idea that's what was going on.In many "little things" that were also hard things for me, He was preparing me for what I would do today and in the years, I'm sure, to come.I felt led to share 3 different ways He trained me to learn how to obey what He asks of me and how now, today, I can see why the enemy would try so hard to keep me bound in fear.

Bearing Witness of Christ
This morning I ran right into a passage of scripture that jumped out at my heart so I began to look up it 's meaning in the original language.John 10 speaks of the Good & True Shepherd..let's see what it says...

An "I Ain't Quittin" Attitude
During seasons of healing you'll learn alot about Christ but also alot about yourself.Tribulation produces perseverence, and perseverence, proven character...Romans 5:3We had a great discussion on some of this last night in our group meeting but I didn't want it to pass us by too quickly. So, join me on my walk as we talk about it a little more.

Learn to See
I was stirred in my heart by a precious preacher I was listening to on my way home from a trip. So, you're getting a little mini-message while I'm on the road.It reiterated to me again the art of learning to see. Maybe it will help you too as I share what I felt the Lord reminding me.

The Henna Blossoms
This message started with a dream about a couple of weeks ago. A dream where God needed to show me something in me needing tending. But He is so loving to then send me to His Word to run right into the message the dream intended. I spent each day with one chapter of the book of Song of Songs (Solomon) and learned so very much.Let me reintroduce you to the BRIDEGROOM and share with you how He is reintroducing Himself to me.

Lured by a Lie
As I've been re-reading the book of Joshua I continue to find such good and Godly stories that can help us today operate with better discernement in the Kingdom of God.Today, we look at Joshua 10 and see a great lesson for us as well as a warning.
-
162
Make Room
Today I'm sharing a moment with Jesus. So, just come into my space and I think He is speaking a "thing" that will help us all discern well our seasons, help us get into the proper lanes, and remain faithful to what He is doing in this hour.At times, it can be confusing to know the will of God but I really think we often overlook what, and how, the Holy Spirit is actively already at work helping us.

The Faith of a Child
During our last meeting the Lord had prepared a message about the faith of a child. It was something He was walking me personally through during my 2 week vacation but I didn't really know at the time.I felt it was a message that needs to out to our podcast listeners as well. When was the last time your eyes sparkled at the thought of Jesus? Do you remember when your faith was like a child when you first came to Him? Before the pain of life, the abuses, the betrayals?God reminded me of so much for this little lesson and it is my belief that He wants us to return to the faith of a child.

Let the Creativity Rise
I think often God has gifted us with unique creativity that we some how deem less significant in the body of Christ. Yet, it is not true.God is stirring up creativity in this season and it is a matter of His nature, the Creator, Himself.Let's move forward as Kingdom artisans and fulfill that which He purposefully placed within us.
-
158
Recognizing the Shift
On my walk today the Lord just dropped a sweet nugget in my heart for you. Many in the body of Christ feel stuck but I am finding that God has a way about Himself that helps us recognize the shift He is making. The main problem He has had to walk me through is recognizing that shift.Sometimes that shift is not what I expected to happen.
-
157
The Remedy
I have learned the power of a heartfelt "I'm Sorry" where humility, and honesty, usher in a powerful healing oil.It remedies many, many heart pains. Many breaches in the body could be mended with an honest heart sharing and a very humble, and often tearful, "I'm sorry."

156
Ground Breakers
Some of you don't realize that your warfare has been because you are one of God's ground breakers. He has entrusted to you a serious, yet hard, job in the Kingdom. While today He does give us a bit of a warning, He also gives us encouragement to stay in the fight. You are a critical piece in God's Kingdom plan and you are helping break new ground for the generations coming behind us.

Hell's Most Wanted
Jesus has given us a job. One of pushing back darkness, setting captives free, and binding up the broken hearted.Today we talk about giving our "YES" to become one of Hell's Most Wanted and wading into the waters of Isaiah 61.Are you ready??????????

A Look at what it means to be "Sealed" in Christ.
I was not going to talk about this until much later until the providence of God made me run right into the scriptures last week. It sent me on a hunt to understand what it indeed means to "be sealed" with the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. While I don't feel this is the entire conversation that is necessary, today we simply look at "being sealed."
-
153
Let's Talk About Commitment
Commitment is so central to this life with Christ. Every season brings new commitments and sometimes more or less of them as well. One thing never changes no matter the season and that is our commitment to the person of Christ and our relationship with Him.Let's talk through some things together and take a good look at our own lives when it comes to commitment.Let us grow in Christ Jesus more and more.

In the Belly of a Fish
Sometimes we find ourselves in the belly of a fish just like Jonah. Maybe we don't even know we are there. But there's some good things that God is working on in that dark place.

Behold!!!! I Will Do Something NEW!
For awhile now God has been stirring in me of coming shifts. I've known we were about to do a NEW thing. Sometimes, you have to wait on it. I've had excitement, expectation, and joy but just like everyone else a little restlessness at the same time.Last night, today's message was changed from what I was planning to take a deep dive into Isaiah 43:19 as once again the Lord placed it before me.I think you will be encouraged:)*This message was delivered Live on 320 Lunch Break with Shelly Wilson on Royalty4Real Radio for Women. When it's Time to Fly
Let's dig deep into Deuteronomy 32:11-12 and take a look at what might be happening when things go a bit haywire in our lives:)As an eagle stirs up it's nest,Hovers over it's young,Spreading out it's wings, taking them up,Carrying them on it's wings,So the LORD alone led him.And there was no foreign god with him.

From Assignment to Assignment
We often are so zealous to get to some final destination when it comes to our destiny and purpose. However, the Kingdom of God moves in seasons and we must learn to go from assignment to assignment.God is working day by day during every step we make. Are we recognizing Him in our midst? This is a quick little tidbit that was on my heart while driving to my grands this past week. It seems so basic but we seem to often forget that we need to always be willing to "Go where the wind blows..."

147
Giving Your Heart Away
There is a good, and Godly, need to guard our hearts. Some seasons more than others. There are also several scenarios that would warrant being super diligent at guarding your heart. As we navigate life's seasons, we are called to not be unwise of the devil's schemes. Let's get armoured up in this area so we can walk powerfully and freely into that which Christ has called us into.
-
146
The Giants
This morning the Lord stirred in me a writing about The Giants. It was eye opening as He helped me navigate in prayer and what He had in store for our live 320 Lunch Break today. As we advance the Kingdom we must stay mindful that we will each face giants that come to derail, delay, or destroy us. Yet, every circumstance He enters into with us helping us walk it out.We seem to think the land God gives us will be an easy transition when it is, in essence, more like a hostile takeover whereby giants will have to be evicted.Let's talk about it...

145
Following Jesus Only
Knowing God's voice is critical in this walk with Jesus. As He commands us to assignments and directions, we must be careful before allowing other opinions to move us off of our assigned post. Likewise, we must be so careful when our voices are lending a hand to others as well. We surely do not want to move them off of God's plan for their lives.Today, we will look at a couple times in scripture where people listened to the wrong voices and it was costly. We will also talk about some practical ways to walk wisely into divine endeavors.
-
144
After You Have Suffered A While
Today we look at the treasures hidden in 1 Peter 5. When we are in a trial it can be difficult to find the strength to endure. However, this passage might be what you need to light a fire again in your heart.Jesus is not leaving you or forgetting where you are. He is working an incredible work with what the devil sent to destroy you. Let's talk about it:)

143
Meeting People in their Pain
I am so mindful of broken hearts in suffering seasons. It is our way of life here in the ministry. However, we must become better at handling with care those who need to be comforted in any season of pain.Today we walk through how to meet people in their pain.

Foolish
Over my years I've just barely begun to understand better the sciptures noted in 1 Corinthians 1:27 which says, "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty..."Today I talk about some of those things mentioned in the scriptures as well as real life examples I've seen Christ do in my own life and ministry.

Don't Lose a Blessing
The next writing in The View from the Watchtower is a discussion on Godly friendship. How to not take them for granted and how to be a better God-honoring friend. As we look into the beautiful friendship of David and Jonathan we find that truly a brother is born for adversity. There are seasons where we need brothers and sisters willing to get into the fight with us as the adversary comes to kill, steal, or destroy. Times when no matter how strong in the Lord we are, we need the help of those who love us to come stand with us. Times when we weep with those who weep and mourn with those who mourn. In these moments we see that, truly, love never fails and good, Godly friendships were meant to be treasured gifts from God.

Faithfulness
Today we look at the book of Nehemiah and get beautiful glimpses of the faithfulness of a great leader. From the moment he received a burden of the Lord to opposition in the rebuilding of the wall, Nehemiah remains faithful.

Carrying Glory
This life with Christ is full and robust. There are lovely facets and deep waters. The fullness of your drinking of and from His cup will be a critical element on your journey.Watch out for lazy rivers that lull you to a sleep that will cause you to miss out on the wonders in the deep. It's time to report for duty:)

138
Dead Weight
There are seasons where God will begin to remove all manner of dead weight from your life. This can be people, places, or things. It can even be within the realm of assignments from the Lord and what He is setting before us in any given season. It can also be in the way or emotional baggage that He needs and desires to shift in us.*320 Lunch Break aired live on Royalty4Real Radio for Women. Caring for the Broken
It is a weighty responsibility to be entrusted with broken hearts. If Jesus is near to the brokenhearted then I need to be very careful how I handle their tender hearts or I can cause more harm than good.Today we look at Psalm 34:18 and dig deeper into it's meaning so that we can get a good view of the heart of Christ when it comes to caring for the broken.*The 320 Lunch Break airs live on Wednesdays at 12 Noon CST on Royalty4Real Radio for Women. Leadership Insights-When God is Raising You Up
Leadership is a beautiful gifting that is so valuable in the Kingdom of God but we mustn't be in a hurry for it.If God has placed a leading gift in you, He will walk you through a process to prepare you. Much happens within leadership that goes unseen. It can be full of joy yet full of hardship. There are many practical tasks within a leadership role as well as spiritual tasks. Both are necessary. If God is raising you up as a leader you need to understand it is not for the faint of heart and glamour will be far from you.The greatest leaders serve well, and faithfully, when no one is watching.

Dying to Dignity
There are times it is good to die to a dignity that comes strickly from ourselves rather than from God. Today we look at some scriptures and stories that show us why it's an area to get a good glimpse of as I also share some personal moments from The View from the Watchtower that I've experienced where I've had to die to dignity.

Fear
Fear is what we are taking down today friends. We each will face many fears in our lives. It doesn't matter how long you've been walking with Christ, you'll have to contend with fear again and again. But the Lord has given us so much in His word regarding fear. So let's look together as I share some personal fears I've had to walk through over my own life.
