How to Find a Godly Mentor (and become one!) | Life Leadership Part 3

Whether you are looking for a mentor to guide your steps or feeling the nudge to pour into someone else, this episode is for you. We are diving into the life of Elisha to uncover how preparation, humility, and a double portion of boldness can transform you into the leader God has called you to be. I am so glad you are here for part three of our series on Life Leadership. We are talking about something so close to my heart: mentorship. We often disqualify ourselves because of our past or because we didn't grow up in a "ministry family," but I want to remind you that you can be the vanguard. You can be the first generation to set a new tone for your family and your community. By looking at how Jesus invested in the twelve and how Elijah prepared Elisha, we can see a clear roadmap for our own growth. Key Takeaways from Elisha’s Preparation Accept Your Anointing: Just as Elisha was called to succeed Elijah, you must understand and own the specific role God has for you without shrinking back. Cultivate a Servant’s Heart: Elisha was found plowing a field. True leadership starts with a willingness to get low and serve, even in the "unseen" tasks. Wait on God’s Timing: There is often a long gap between the moment the "mantle" is thrown on you and the moment you step into authority. Use your waiting season to be transformed. Heal Past Wounds: Elisha asked to kiss his parents goodbye, reminding us that leaders must respect authority and find healing from past family triggers to lead healthily. Burn the Bridges: When Elisha burned his farming tools, he committed fully to his new calling. Surrender your former ambitions to embrace the new thing God is doing. Pursue Good Mentors: Don’t be afraid to be bold. Seek out wise, godly people, get under their leadership, and learn everything you can from their lives. Hunger for Growth: Be a student of the Word and a student of those you admire. Listen to the lessons, do your research, and ensure everything aligns with Truth. The Power of Two-Way Pouring: Mentorship is a circle. As you pour into others, you will find that you are also refreshed and inspired by their transformation. Are you ready to stop making excuses and start growing? If you feel the Lord stirring your heart to be mentored personally, I would love to walk alongside you. How to Stay Disciplined When You Don’t Feel Like It | Life Leadership Part 2 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Stop settling for temporary motivation when God has called you to live a life of lasting influence. This episode discovers the vital difference between fickle feelings and the biblical discipline required to lead others toward Christ. We are continuing our series on life leadership by digging into how we can move past our excuses and start living with a spirit of self-control. I am sharing some of my own "kindergarten artistry" and very personal examples to show you that while the path isn't always a straight line, discipline with grace is what allows us to bear fruit that lasts. Here are the key takeaways from this episode: Motivation vs Discipline: Motivation is a fickle emotion that starts and stops, but discipline is the everlasting fuel rooted in Jesus that keeps us moving toward our goals. The Wisdom of the Ant: Learn why discipline is self-governed and why we should not wait for a prince or a ruler to tell us to do what the Lord has already called us to do. The Comparison Trap: Why it is essential to stay well-rooted in your own assignment rather than being jealous of the success others have worked hard to achieve. Pushing the Boulder: Discover how consistency turns a difficult, uphill struggle into a "flat ground" habit that eventually becomes second nature. The Time Audit: We debunk the "no time" excuse by looking at our 168 hours a week and identifying what is actually controlling our schedule. Movement Over Mood: Why we must never let our current feelings dictate our actions and how to take the first step regardless of how we feel. Five Practical Hacks: I share my favorite tips for building discipline, including the 1-2-3 Rule, Eating the Frog, and setting daily non-negotiables. I would love to hear what the Lord is convicting you to change in your own life as you listen. I’m wildly cheering you!  Alita Reynolds 💎 Mentoring with Alita is now available! Why Spirit Led Women Need Healthy Routines | Life Leadership Part 1 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

What does it really mean to be a life leader? In this first episode of the Life Leadership series, Alita Reynolds shares how Jesus modeled intentional routines, spiritual rhythms, and everyday habits that quietly influenced everyone around Him. This conversation will encourage you to lead yourself well, stay rooted in God, and influence others toward Christ through the way you live your daily life. Together, we talk about what it means to influence others toward Jesus through consistency, spiritual maturity, healthy routines, and intentional living. This is not about titles, platforms, or performance. It is about becoming the kind of woman whose life naturally points people toward Christ. Jesus Himself modeled rhythms of prayer, solitude, scripture, and serving from overflow instead of exhaustion. If we want to live the life God has called us to live, we must build intentional habits that keep us connected to Him. Top points from this episode: What “Life Leadership” really means and why every believer is already influencing others The difference between leadership through position and leadership through everyday living The three directions of influence: leading south, east and west, and north Why your private routines shape your public influence Jesus’s consistent rhythm of habitual prayer and intentional time with the Father How scripture creates stability before pressure and difficult seasons arise Why solitude and stepping away from noise is essential for spiritual clarity The importance of serving others from overflow instead of emptiness How healthy spiritual habits help prevent decision fatigue and reactive living Breaking generational patterns by allowing living water to overflow into the next generation. Stop Trying to Be Like Jesus & Do This Instead | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

What if sanctification is not complicated at all, but something you are already being invited to walk in every day? In this episode, I break down what it really means to live a life that is pleasing to God in a simple and practical way. This is about real transformation, not striving, and learning how to let Jesus live through you. I am walk with you through what sanctification looks like in real life and how it shapes the way you think, live, and respond each day. My heart is to help you move from confusion or pressure into clarity, peace, and confidence in your walk with the Lord. Here are the key takeaways from this episode: Sanctification is simply living a pure life that is aligned with God’s will and reflects His nature in your everyday life. True transformation is not about striving or trying harder, it is about surrender and allowing Jesus to live through you. There are two sides to sanctification:  Dying to self by laying down your own desires and ways.  Receiving new life as Jesus transforms you from the inside out. You are called to be exactly who God designed you to be, not a version of someone else. Letting go of what others think of you is a key step in walking in freedom and living out your assignment. A sanctified life reflects order, peace, and clarity because that is the nature of God. Practicing self discipline is not pressure, it is alignment with the Holy Spirit and an act of worship. Sanctification is not imitation, it is impartation. It is the life of Jesus being expressed through you. Transformation happens over time as you stay close to God and continue to surrender daily. You are not doing this alone. God is working in you, giving you both the desire and the power to live a life that pleases Him. This is the will of God, your sanctification. As you lean into Him, you will begin to see your life change in ways that are real, steady, and lasting. You are becoming more like Jesus, one step at a time. You’re Not Offended… You’re Disappointed | Freedom from Offense Part 4 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

What if the reason you feel hurt in relationships is not what people did, but what you expected? In this episode of this series, we uncover how unrealistic and unspoken expectations quietly lead to offense. This conversation will help you walk in freedom, clarity, and deeper peace in your relationships. I want to walk with you through something that has personally challenged me and transformed the way I see relationships. So many of the offenses we carry are not rooted in betrayal, but in assumptions, unmet expectations, and disappointment we never slowed down to recognize. As women of faith, we are not called to live easily offended. We are called to reflect Jesus in the way we love, forgive, and extend grace. When you become aware of how expectations are shaping your reactions, you begin to step into a new level of freedom. Here are some of the key takeaways from this episode: Offense often starts with unspoken expectations that were never communicated• Many offenses are rooted in assumptions, not intentional harm• Placing God sized expectations on people leads to disappointment and hurt• People cannot fulfill what only God was designed to provide• Expecting healed responses from unhealed people creates unnecessary offense• Understanding where someone is helps you guard your heart without excusing behavior• Jesus modeled relationships with clarity and without unrealistic expectations• Disappointment is often a signal of misplaced expectations• Freedom begins when you release expectations that were never meant to be there My heart for you is that you would live light, free, and deeply connected to Jesus. You do not have to carry the weight of disappointment. When you allow God to be your source and release unrealistic expectations, you create space for grace, peace, and healthy relationships. The Hidden Way Offense Is Destroying Your Relationships | Freedom from Offense Part 3 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Have you ever found yourself slowly pulling away from someone and you could not quite explain why? What if that distance did not happen all at once, but formed quietly through small moments of offense? In this episode, we talk about how offense creeps in, how it affects our relationships, and how we can choose unity instead. In this conversation, I want to help you recognize how offense works beneath the surface and how to walk in the kind of unity that reflects Jesus to the world. Offense rarely happens all at once. It builds slowly through small misunderstandings, assumptions, and unaddressed hurt  The enemy often uses offense to divide relationships when he cannot pull you away from your faith  Unity is part of our witness. When we walk in love and forgiveness, the world sees Jesus more clearly Three ways offense leads to disunity: Isolation: pulling away instead of leaning in weakens connection and distorts perspective  Rejection: when left unprocessed, it can turn into offense instead of healing Blame: keeps us stuck and prevents growth and restoration Three ways to protect unity and stay free from offense: Generosity: be generous with encouragement, grace, and forgiveness  Humility: choose to take ownership, listen, and seek restoration  Curiosity: ask questions instead of assuming motives and allow understanding to grow You were created for relationship, and you do not have to live guarded, distant, or divided. We can choose to protect unity, walk in love, and stay free from offense together. What are You Actually Angry About? | Freedom from Offense Part 2 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Have you ever felt like something small triggered a big reaction in you, and you could not quite explain why? In this episode, we uncover how offense often hides beneath everyday emotions and how God invites us into a life of true freedom. This is not about ignoring what you feel, it is about transforming how you respond so you can live fully aligned with Him. In this episode, we walk through what it really means to live free from offense and how letting go of anger opens the door to deeper intimacy with Jesus. Offense is often rooted in emotions we overlook such as irritation, frustration, bitterness, or feeling hurt, all of which trace back to anger.  Many of us do not realize we are living offended because these emotions feel normal, but they are not how God designed us to live.  Ephesians 4:26 reminds us that while we may feel anger, we are not meant to hold onto it or let it lead us into sin.  We tend to judge ourselves by our intentions and others by their actions, which fuels misunderstanding and offense.  Our hearts can be deceptive, which is why we must rely on God’s truth instead of our own perspective.  Forgiveness is not about the other person deserving it, it is about surrendering your right to resentment and choosing freedom.  Anger never produces the righteousness God desires, as seen in James 1:20.  Living offended creates distance between you and God and limits your ability to love others well.  Choosing to love and pray for those who offend you is one of the most freeing and life giving decisions you can make.  As followers of Jesus, we are called to be the most unoffendable people, reflecting His grace, mercy, and humility in every interaction. Friend, this is an invitation to examine your heart, release what you have been holding onto, and step into a new level of freedom. You do not have to carry offense anymore. You can choose love. You can choose grace. You can choose a life that reflects Jesus in a powerful way. What if something from your past is quietly shaping how you see yourself and even how you see God? In this episode, I sit down with filmmaker Rick Altizer to talk about his powerful new film He Calls Me Daughter. This conversation explores father wounds, identity, and the healing that comes from truly understanding the heart of our Heavenly Father. In this episode, Rick shares the story behind the film and how God led him step by step to create a project that is already impacting women around the world. As I watched the film, I experienced several moments of clarity about my own life, and I believe many women will have similar realizations. If you have ever felt the pressure to perform, achieve, or prove your value, this conversation will encourage you and point you back to the truth of who you are as a daughter of God. The film He Calls Me Daughter will be in theaters March 17 and 18. I encourage you to make a plan to see it with friends or family. Offense Is the Trap Keeping You From Intimacy With God | Freedom from Offense Part 1 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

If you have felt like something is blocking your closeness with God, this episode will help you name it and remove it. In this episode, I kick off this new series by sharing how offense works like a subtle trap that hardens the heart and steals intimacy, and how Jesus invites you into real freedom through repentance and forgiveness. In this episode, we talk about: You can love Jesus and still have a hidden wall in your heart, and God can reveal what is really there. The heart can be deceitful, which is why we need the Lord to search us and show us what we cannot see on our own. Sin hardens the heart over time, and offense is often the hidden root behind bitterness, anger, envy, and strife. God refines our hearts like gold, using the heat of trials to bring impurities to the surface so they can be removed. Offense is not a small issue, it produces bad fruit and affects your relationships, your peace, and the people around you. Jesus said offenses will come, not if but when, and you still have the choice to stay offended or live free. Pride keeps you stuck in blame, but humility opens the door to repentance, healing, and truth. Condemnation is not from the Lord, conviction is an invitation to come closer and be cleansed. The enemy uses subtle deception to pull you off course, and the Word of God keeps you aligned with truth. Freedom begins with an honest prayer, asking Jesus to reveal where offense is hiding so you can repent and move forward. Jesus, The True Source: Rooted for Life | Part 4 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Jesus is not a supplement to your life. He is the Source. In this episode, I share how to stop reaching for spiritual fillers that leave you thirsty, and how to live a steady, rooted life by abiding in Jesus every day, in every moment. In this episode, we finish the Rooted For Life series by returning to what is real: living water, deep roots, and a life that bears fruit through connection, not pressure. Here are the top points from this episode: Jesus is the true Source, and every substitute will leave you spiritually thirsty. Fillers promise relief, but they create more hunger and often leave you depleted. Keep it simple: prayer, Word, and worship are the foundation that sustains you. The deepest places in you were never meant to be satisfied by shallow wells. Abiding is not a scheduled moment, it is a way of living with Jesus in every part of your day. You can abide while working, folding laundry, making dinner, and living your normal life. Your circumstances do not have to hinder your fellowship with God. Striving produces burnout, but abiding produces fruit. Fruit grows from connection with Jesus, not pressure or performance. You can recognize maturity by fruit, and we are invited to keep growing in Christ over time. When you are rooted, you do not just survive, you provide shade for others. A life of generosity is part of the fruit that grows from being rooted in Jesus. I’m wildly cheering you! Flourishing in Every Season | Rooted for Life Part 3 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Redefine what flourishing really looks like with me in Rooted for Life Part 3. In this episode, we walk through the seasons of a grapevine to understand how God grows fruit in us, even when nothing seems to be happening. If you feel stuck, delayed, or confused, this message will help you name your season and keep your roots growing deep. Here are the top points from this episode: Flourishing is not just what people can see. It is obedience and faithfulness in God’s eyes. Every season has purpose, even the ones you would never choose. Winter can feel desolate, but it can be protection, preparation, and deeper rooting. Spring is fragile new growth, and it needs care and consistency to survive. Summer fruit is visible, but fruit that lasts is built in private, behind the scenes. Harvest includes crushing, and God can use the crushing to produce new wine through your life. Fruit of the Spirit is the fruit we are aiming for: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Growth is often unseen before it becomes visible, and seasons can last different lengths for different people. Psalm 92:12-14 reminds us that the Godly will flourish and still produce fruit even in old age. Proverbs 13:12 puts language to waiting: Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Colossians 2:7 is our anchor for the series: Let your roots grow down into Him and let your lives be built on Him. Generosity is part of being rooted.  Psalm 112:4 shows that light shines in the darkness through the generous, compassionate, and righteous. Generosity is not only finances. It is a way of living that brings light: encouragement, prayers, time, kindness, and meeting needs without needing credit. Reflection questions to process with Jesus. What season are you in, and what name would you give it? What emotion is this season evoking in you? How are you experiencing God right now, as soil, gardener, or pruner? Where are you in the season, beginning, middle, or nearing the end? Where do you sense God inviting you to grow deeper? I’m wildly cheering you! Still Hope - It is a God story! | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Friend, this interview is one I have been waiting to share with you. In this conversation, I sit down with Kathrine Lee to talk about the upcoming film Still Hope, releasing in theaters February 5th. This is not just a movie. It is a God story. Kathrine shares how the film came to life through an incredible chain of faith filled moments, connections that only the Lord could orchestrate, and a deep desire to bring both truth and healing to the screen. Here is a quick overview of the film. Still Hope follows a teenage girl named Hope who feels relatable to so many families. She is living a normal life, navigating the everyday world of being a teen, and like many young people, she assumes she is safe. Through deception and grooming, her life is turned upside down in a matter of moments. The film does not shy away from the reality of trafficking, but it is not designed to leave you in darkness. The second half of the movie is where something truly powerful happens: you begin to see the journey of restoration, redemption, healing, and the transformational power of forgiveness in its proper time. It is honest, it is trauma informed, and it is filled with hope. Kathrine also invites us into the heart behind Pure Hope Foundation and Pure Hope Ranch, a place that reflects so much of the healing model shown in the film. One of the most beautiful themes we talk about is this: we are hurt in community, but we also heal in community. There is something holy about safe people walking alongside someone as they reclaim their life. And you will see that woven throughout the story. My prayer is that when you walk out of the theater, you feel both awakened and strengthened. Awareness matters, but action is what creates change. This film can open meaningful conversations with your family, remind you that healing is possible, and invite you to be part of the solution in your own community. Still Hope is in theaters February 5th. You can watch the official trailer, find tickets, and access resources at stillhopemovie.com. And friend, if you believe stories like this need to be told, go see it and bring someone with you. Two Weeds That Choke Your Spiritual Growth | Rooted for Life | Part 2 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Have you been striving just to survive spiritually, when Jesus is inviting you to thrive? In this Rooted for Life teaching, I share two weeds to beware of so you do not get choked out and lose your spiritual strength. Weeds can look harmless at first, but over time they steal your peace, your fruit, and your focus. We are grounding this message in Psalm 1:3. We are like trees planted by the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Our leaves do not have to wither, and we can prosper in all we do. This is the kind of life God wants for you. Steady, fruitful, and deeply rooted in Christ. Then we get practical. We talk about who you choose to be around most, and why your closest influences matter. We also talk about anything that distracts your relationship with Jesus. Weeds can be worries and daily pressures. They can be the deceitfulness of wealth and chasing what never satisfies. They can be pleasures and desires that slowly take priority over God’s will for your life. We also look at Acts 2 and how the early church grew strong roots through teaching, fellowship, shared meals, prayer, generosity, worship, and awe in God’s presence. This is not just a story of old. This is a picture of how you can live today when you build your life around the Word and around godly community. Here is my challenge for you this week. Release at least one weed. Ask yourself, what needs to go so Jesus can be first again? What grows in your life is what you make room for, and you can make room for more of Him. I’m wildly cheering you! Find Your Word for 2026: Clarity, Focus, and God’s Direction | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Choosing a Word of the Year is one of the simplest ways to stay focused on Jesus and grow on purpose all year long. In this episode, I walk you through a practical, prayerful process to discover your word, anchor it in Scripture, and watch how God uses it to shape your year. In this episode, you will find: Why a Word of the Year matters: it becomes an anchor for your focus and a simple way to recognize God’s hand in your everyday life• My Word for 2026 is endurance, and how God gently revealed it to me during time in the Word• A key reminder: every word has a beautiful promise and a stretching place that will grow you• How revival starts with you: strengthen your spirit, pursue the Lord intentionally, and live as a life leader in every area of life• How God confirms your word: through prayer, Scripture, trusted conversations, and repeated nudges that keep showing up• Slow down and listen for the gentle whisper, like Elijah experienced in 1 Kings 19:12 to 13• A simple process to narrow it down: write a list, cross off what is not it, circle what keeps rising, and keep seeking until one stands out• Journal your word and why you chose it, then revisit it throughout the year so you can see the fruit and give God the glory• Use Scripture to strengthen your word, including Psalm 37:23, Habakkuk 2:2, and Jeremiah 29:13• Look up the definition of your word to expand your understanding and sharpen your prayers I’m wildly cheering you!  Alita Reynolds 🫶 GIVE HERE to support Women of Faith 📑 Alita’s Free Guide 📖 It’s a joy to have you join our Women of Faith Bible Study. Prayer and Fasting: How God Meets You When You Seek Him First | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Starting the year with prayer and fasting is one of the most powerful ways to realign your heart with God, hear His voice more clearly, and invite spiritual breakthrough. In this episode, I walk you through what fasting really is, how to do it biblically, and why it can transform your relationship with Jesus. Hi friends, welcome back to The Alita Reynolds Show. I am so thankful we get to begin this year together. I didn’t grow up fasting, and maybe you didn’t either, but once I discovered that Scripture teaches “when you fast,” it changed so much for me. In this episode, I share my journey with fasting and how it has helped me surrender my will, quiet distractions, and depend more fully on the Lord. Here are some of the key points we walk through together: • What prayer and fasting truly mean and why they belong together • Why the Bible emphasizes fasting and how God uses it to bring clarity • How fasting helps shift us from flesh-led to Spirit-led living • What a 21 day corporate fast looks like and how to personalize it • Different fasting approaches, from food-related fasts to removing distractions • Why grace, intention, and humility matter more than perfection • Biblical examples of fasting that show God’s faithfulness in seasons of seeking Him • Practical ways to prepare mentally, spiritually, and physically • How journaling helps capture breakthroughs and spiritual insight • Why community and Bible study make the journey stronger and richer Whether this is your very first fast or you’ve done many before, I believe this episode will encourage you and give you practical steps to begin. Run with Endurance | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Hey sweet friends! Run with Endurance is a powerful reminder that faith is not a sprint. It is a daily, intentional walk of fixing our eyes on Jesus and staying faithful to what truly matters. In this episode, we talk about how endurance is built long before it is needed and why your quiet obedience today prepares you for what God is calling you into tomorrow. In this episode I share why the Lord placed such a strong emphasis on endurance and stamina in my own life and how Hebrews 12 calls us to run our race with perseverance. Endurance is not about pushing harder in our own strength. It is about clarity, focus, and agreeing with God that the mission matters. When the mission matters, effort becomes worship. We talk about how endurance is formed in the unseen places through consistent time with God, prayer, and obedience. Momentum in faith rarely comes from big moments. It grows through the quiet, daily choices that deepen our roots in Christ. I also unpack what scripture calls parasitic sins and how small distractions and compromises can drain our spiritual strength faster than major storms if we do not address them. This episode also reframes discipline. God’s discipline is not punishment. It is training. He disciplines those He loves because He is preparing us for maturity and a peaceful harvest of right living. Endurance grows when we allow God to remove what weighs us down so we can run lighter and freer. Finally, we talk about why your endurance matters beyond you. Your faithfulness becomes courage for someone else. When you keep running, you lead the way. Endurance carries you from calling to completion and helps you live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. The Power of Miracles and Faith with Lee Strobel | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

In this episode, I had the incredible opportunity to speak with Lee Strobel, renowned author and former atheist journalist, best known for his book "The Case for Christ." While we touched on the profound impact of "The Case for Christ," our main focus was on his latest project, "The Case for Miracles." Lee shared his personal journey from atheism to faith, highlighting how his quest to disprove Christianity led him to discover the love of Jesus. We discussed the upcoming film adaptation of "The Case for Miracles," which will be shown in theaters as a Fathom event from December 15th to 18th. Lee described the film as a powerful exploration of modern-day miracles, supported by solid medical documentation and multiple eyewitness accounts. One of the most moving stories Lee shared was about Barbara Snyder, who experienced a miraculous healing from multiple sclerosis after being prayed for by over 450 people. This story, among others, underscores the film's message that God is still in the miracle business today. We also delved into the topic of unanswered prayers and the sovereignty of God. Lee shared his personal experience with his wife's chronic pain and emphasized that while not all prayers for healing are answered in this life, God can bring good out of our suffering. This episode is a must-listen for anyone interested in the intersection of faith and evidence, and I highly recommend watching "The Case for Miracles" to witness these incredible stories firsthand. Thank you, Lee, for your dedication to documenting and sharing these powerful testimonies. Check out "The Case For Miracles" film.

Live a Generous Lifestyle with a Renewed Mind | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Hey sweet friends!  In this final episode of our Renewed Mind series, we look closely at what it means to live each day with a mind aligned to God’s Word. God calls us to believe every sentence in Scripture and to allow truth to move from intellectual knowledge into deep heart transformation. When our minds are renewed to the spirit of our mind, we live in the fullness Jesus offers and learn to trust His promises with confidence. We walk through five powerful points that shape a renewed mindset.  God desires to bless what we put our hands to. He blesses what we build, what we steward, and what we work at, not only what we pray for. We see that God loves diligence and faithfulness, and He calls us to focus our efforts on what carries eternal impact. We look at the power to get wealth and explore how God multiplies what we release and sow rather than what we withhold. We also talk about generosity as a lifestyle. From sowing seed to tithes and offerings, Scripture reveals God’s heart to pour out blessing as we obey His Word. We examine what it means to sow with trust, to avoid robbing God, and to believe His promise to open the floodgates of heaven. Generosity becomes a joyful response when our minds are fully renewed in Christ. Top points from this episode:• Renew your mind to every sentence of Scripture• God blesses what you put your hands to• Stewardship requires action and obedience• Identify what has eternal value and pursue that• God multiplies what you release, not what you keep• A lifestyle of generosity invites God’s abundant provision Thank you for being part of this journey toward a renewed mind and a deeper walk with Jesus. This episode takes you beyond concepts and into the real-life moments where your thoughts try to spiral, offering the tools you need to return to peace, truth, and freedom again and again. Here are some of the top points from this episode:• Renewal is not automatic. It is experienced as we return to truth one faithful moment at a time.• You do not have to live with anxiety. Joy grows when you give it away, and a renewed mind shifts the focus from self to God and others.• Sleeping well is biblical. We take an honest look at how fear quietly weaves into our thoughts and choices. We walk through common daily fears like flying, illness, driving, and being alone, as well as deeper fears such as failure, rejection, loss, criticism, inadequacy, and the unknown. You will learn how to recognize fear’s influence, how to take thoughts captive through truth and prayer, and how to discern the difference between healthy caution and paralyzing fear. I also share the Umpire Analogy and Wave Analogy to help you guard your thoughts in real time, plus the power of morning mindset statements anchored in Scripture. And we look at the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego as a reminder that you do not have to carry the smell of the fear you have walked through. You can carry the aroma of Christ instead. God Says: Come Up Higher | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Are you clinging on for dear life or living freely in God’s presence? In this episode, I share the powerful invitation from Revelation 4:1, where God says, “Come up here.” Together we explore what it means to rise above striving and step into the abundant life God has for us. Welcome back, friends! I am so glad you are here. This conversation is all about perspective. Will you keep holding tightly to the Eiffel Tower, exhausted and anxious, or will you step onto the wide plateau where you can move freely in God’s will? This is not about a perfect life without trials but about living with a heavenly mindset, walking by faith, and trusting in His plan. Here are some of the key points we walk through together:• The two visuals: clinging to the steeple or freely dancing on the mountain plateau• What it means to live faithfully, righteously, and obediently in God’s will• The difference between Satan’s stressful “elevation” and God’s gracious invitation• The call to have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying today• How God grows our personal character layer by layer as He calls us higher• The importance of trusting God’s timing instead of leaning on our own understanding• Learning patience and freedom through deeper intimacy with Jesus I also share reflection questions to help you apply this truth: Have you heard God calling you higher? Do you have ears to hear? How could your perspective and actions shift so you can live with ease in His presence? My heart and prayer for you is that you take time to get away with the Lord and reflect on what He is saying. The door is wide open to live in the heavenly realm with Him. Getting in Step with God | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Hey sweet friends!  Discover 5 powerful ways to get in step with God in your everyday life. Alita Reynolds shares how to walk faithfully in ordinary moments, find spiritual renewal, and trust God’s higher plan even in seasons of waiting. Here are the top points we dive into together: Faith is built in the ordinary. Like Moses preparing in the wilderness or Enoch walking steadily with God, it’s in the everyday moments that we’re prepared for God’s greater calling. It’s painful, and worth it. Sometimes getting in step with God means slowing down, getting your second wind spiritually, and even embracing seasons of rest or recalibration. Merge into oneness with God. Walking with Him means relying on His strength, not our own. His power alone is what brings true transformation. Spiritual truth comes through God’s presence. When we surround ourselves with the atmosphere of His Spirit, the impossible becomes possible. Don’t give up. Even in discouraging or ordinary seasons, God is at work training, preparing, and equipping you for His purposes. As you listen, I’d love for you to reflect and share: When have you felt most in step with God? And when have you realized you were out of step, and how did you realign? Your story may be the encouragement someone else needs today! Don’t Settle for the Cottage – Let God Build the Palace | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Don’t Settle for the Cottage – Let God Build the Palace In this episode, I share one of my all-time favorite quotes. It’s a powerful metaphor about how God is not just doing small repairs in your life, He’s completely rebuilding you into something far greater than you imagined. This episode is for anyone who feels stuck in the “comfortable” places of faith and life. Maybe you've settled for a decent little cottage when God is calling you into a full transformation, a palace fit for His presence. Here’s what we’ll explore together: How God begins with the obvious repairs, but doesn’t stop there. Why transformation can feel painful, yet always has a purpose. The difference between renovation and full reconstruction. What it means for God to dwell in you, not just improve you. Why we must trust God’s blueprint, even when the vision is unclear. I also ask some personal questions to help you reflect: What rooms of your life have you kept from God? Will you allow Him to finish His work in you? If you’re ready to stop playing it safe and start surrendering every part of your life to the Master Builder, I encourage you to watch the full episode. Let’s walk this journey together as a community that believes in full transformation through Christ. Let’s not settle for the cottage. Let’s allow God to build the palace He’s designed for each of us.   📑 Alita’s Free Guide: https://www.womenoffaith.com/alita-s-guide-do-nott-settle-for-the-cottage-let-god-build-the-palace 📮Join the Conversation! Aligning Your Physical Health with Your Faith | Part 3 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Hey sweet friends! In this final part of our 3-part series, Aligning Your Physical Health With Your Faith, we’re diving deep into how nutrition connects with our calling and how to care for the one body God has given us, not out of shame or vanity, but out of reverence and stewardship. Here’s what we cover in this episode: How to renew your mindset around nutrition and develop “Morning Mindset Statements” like “I eat to fuel my body” or “I’m not led by cravings, I’m led by Christ.” Why food is often a trap the enemy uses: from Genesis to Jesus, and how we can overcome it with truth and self-control. A practical look at nutrition: what I personally eat, how I approach processed foods and sugar, and how I maintain an 80/20 balance without legalism. The importance of fasting, starting small, and doing what we say we’re going to do. Letting go of shame, identifying excuses, and moving forward with a new plan empowered by the Holy Spirit. If this series has been speaking to you, let’s keep the conversation going. I personally read and respond to your YouTube comments, and it’s been such a joy to hear your reflections and takeaways. Let me know, what’s one commitment you're making today to align your health with your calling? Remember, you were made to live vibrant and radiant - body, soul, and spirit. Love you all so much.  Let’s steward our bodies well, for the glory of God. Aligning Your Physical Health to Your Faith | Part 1 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

In this new series, we’re diving into what it means to align our physical health with our faith. I know this can be a sensitive topic, many of us have wrestled with body image, guilt, or feeling like we’re not doing “enough.” But this isn’t about shame or striving. It’s about freedom, obedience, and walking in what God is calling us to: spirit, soul, and body. In Part 1, we focus on the mindset shift: your body is not your own, it’s God’s temple. That changes everything. This isn’t about diet culture or vanity. It’s about honoring God by stewarding our health so we can live out our calling with energy and clarity. I share my own story of reconnecting with my health journey and how it deepened my walk with the Lord. When I had more energy, my spiritual life flourished too. It’s all connected: body, soul, and spirit. We also touch on sleep, morning routines, rest, hydration, and simple practices to start aligning your life today. Let’s do this together with grace, not perfection. Let’s grow in truth and health together! Midyear Reset. His plan. Your Yes. | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Let’s take a moment to pause and reflect. It's time for our 2025 Halftime Review. Just like a football team steps into the locker room at halftime to evaluate and adjust, we're doing the same with our lives. This is your opportunity to look back at the first half of the year and celebrate the victories, big and small, that God has done in your life. We’re not stopping there! We’re also asking the Lord, “What are You calling me to focus on for the rest of this year or this season?” It’s not about striving harder or doing more. It’s about aligning with His perfect will, walking in obedience, and living with purpose in His strength, not our own. We talk about what it means to hear God's voice, to press on even when progress feels slow, and to live with a spirit of excellence instead of perfectionism. I share scripture, encouragement, and some personal stories to help guide you into a season of deeper connection with Jesus. If you’ve been feeling stuck, weary, or unsure of what’s next, this episode is for you. Let's finish 2025 strong, not by the world’s standards, by God's. Let’s step into the second half with courage, clarity, and confidence in Christ. It’s Time to Forgive Yourself | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Finding Freedom Through Forgiveness Series | Part 4 You’re Still Punishing Yourself… But Why? In this final part of our Finding Freedom Through Forgiveness series, we’re diving deep into what, for many of us, is the hardest part of the forgiveness journey, forgiving yourself. I share my personal journey in this episode of the pain of punishing myself for years, even though I knew Jesus had already paid the price for my sins.  Maybe you’ve been carrying guilt, shame, or condemnation that’s kept you stuck. I want to walk with you through the truth of God's Word and help you release that burden today. Together, we’ll explore important questions like: Why do we struggle to receive God’s forgiveness for ourselves? What would change in your life if you truly believed His forgiveness was enough? Are you still living in condemnation when God offers you freedom? I’ll also talk about the difference between conviction and condemnation, how unforgiveness can open doors to the enemy, and what it really means to live free in Christ, not by our perfection, by His grace. You don’t have to stay stuck. This is your moment. I’m praying this message speaks to your heart, just like it did to mine. 👉 Don’t forget to grab your guide for deeper reflection, follow the show, and share this with a friend who needs encouragement today. Why We Struggle to Forgive Others | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Finding Freedom through Forgiveness Series | Part 3 In this episode, I discuss the 5 most common reasons why we find it difficult to forgive others, and trust me, I've been there with all of these. The 5 Reasons We Don't Want to Forgive: "I don't think it's right to forgive when I don't feel like it" Truth: Forgiveness is a choice, not a feeling. We lead with truth, not emotions. "I can forgive everyone else, but not THAT person" Truth: God's power within us is sufficient to forgive ANY sin committed against us. "Forgiveness isn't fair - they should pay for what they did" Truth: Vengeance belongs to God, not us. We can trust His justice. "I've forgiven but it doesn't help - they keep doing it" Truth: You can't control others, only your response. Sometimes healthy boundaries are needed. "I can't forgive and forget - I keep thinking about the hurt" Truth: Forgiveness doesn't require forgetting, but it does require choosing not to rehearse the pain. The Game-Changer: Renewing Your Mind The breakthrough moment for me was understanding that true forgiveness requires mind renewal at the CORE level, not just intellectual understanding, but heart transformation. When our minds are completely renewed, we produce good fruit and find true freedom. Remember: Forgiveness ≠ Reconciliation. You can forgive without returning to the same relationship dynamic. Join me for our next episode: Forgiving Yourself (this one's going to be deeply personal!) Unforgiveness Almost Broke Me | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

FINDING FREEDOM THROUGH FORGIVENESS SERIES In this episode, I share my personal story of finding freedom through complete forgiveness, how it transformed my life, unlocked God’s calling, and set me free in ways I never imagined. Years ago, a wise mentor told me something that rocked me to the core: “You will never go where God is calling you if you don’t find complete forgiveness in your heart.” That moment marked a turning point in my life. I had been carrying the heavy burden of unforgiveness for far too long—toward others and, even more deeply, toward myself. I share how that journey unfolded for me: the struggle, the surrender, and ultimately, the freedom that came when I chose obedience and healing. I’ll walk you through the real emotions, the resistance, and the breakthroughs I experienced. This isn't about quick fixes—it’s about letting God do a deep work in our hearts. If you’re holding on to pain, shame, or unresolved hurt, I want to encourage you: you don’t have to stay there. You can find freedom through forgiveness—freedom from bitterness, from the past, and even from yourself. Whether you're forgiving someone else or learning how to forgive yourself, this series is for you. I would also like to invite you to join this conversation. Share in the comments, where are you in your forgiveness journey? I’d love to pray for you and walk through this with you, just like my mentor walked with me. If this message resonates with you, there may be someone you love who needs to hear it as well. Would you share it with them? Let’s spread healing, one heart at a time. Let’s take this step together. Finding Freedom through Forgiveness Part 1 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Hey friends! I'm so glad you're here for this powerful new series, Finding Freedom Through Forgiveness. In this first episode, I lay the foundation by sharing four truths that I believe will speak to your heart: you’re never too far gone to be forgiven by God, you always have the opportunity to forgive yourself, you never have to withhold forgiveness from others, and you always have the choice to live in freedom through forgiveness. Together, we unpack what forgiveness is—and just as importantly—what it isn’t. Forgiveness isn’t excusing the hurt or pretending it didn’t happen. It’s not forgetting, stuffing your anger, or reconciling with someone who continues to harm you. Forgiveness is a choice—an act of will that reflects the heart of Christ. I also walk you through Scripture that proves God fully forgives and remembers our sins no more. We talk about how forgiveness isn't just about others—sometimes we need to forgive ourselves or even acknowledge places in our hearts where we’ve held something against God. This series is rooted in truth and designed to help you live a life of peace, joy, and freedom. I share some of my personal experiences with forgiveness (with more to come in future episodes), and offer heartfelt questions to help guide your journey. If you’re ready to let go of the bitterness, take that next step, and experience the healing power of forgiveness, you’re in the right place. I’m praying for you and cheering you on—let’s walk this out together. I’ll see you in the next episode, where we talk about forgiving God and receiving His forgiveness for ourselves. Let’s keep pursuing freedom—together. I Resigned as Queen of Burn-Out and Striving | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

I've officially resigned as the queen of striving and burnout. Maybe it’s time for you to lay that crown down too. We’re diving into one powerful scripture that truly changed my life: Matthew 11:28–30. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, burdened, or like you're pushing through life in your own strength, this message is for you. I talk about the difference between striving and thriving, how to live a life that’s truly rested in Christ, and how the gentle yoke of Jesus changes everything. We’ll unpack what it means to walk with Jesus at His pace, not ours, and how that frees us from the exhaustion of worldly ambition. I also share a touching story from a recent conference where I saw the Holy Spirit bring peace and release to someone weighed down by lies and how you can experience that too. Let’s move from chaos to clarity, from burdened to blessed. My hope is that this encourages you to thrive in grace, lead as a light in your community, and live fully aligned with God’s will. Be sure to download the guide, share this with a friend, and turn on your notifications so you never miss an episode. Love you all so much—let’s lay down the striving together! Are you a wise bridesmaid? We open up Matthew 25 and talk about what it means to be ready, to keep our lamps full of oil—because we can’t borrow someone else’s faith or intimacy with Jesus. I’m sharing what the Lord has shown me about being prepared, staying spiritually filled, and surrounding yourself with people who help you walk closer to Him. Are you overflowing in the Spirit? We’re not meant to pour out until we’re empty. We’re meant to be vessels—overflowing with living water—so the Spirit of God can pour through us to bless others. We talk about being fruitful, not just looking like fruit.  Do you know how to show up?There’s power in discerning your inner circle. Who’s spurring you on toward Christ? Who are you ministering to without expecting anything in return? I’ll walk you through the beauty and balance of friendship, ministry, and God’s promise that those who pour out will be saturated with favor (Proverbs 11:25, TPT). I’m so honored to walk this journey with you. Let’s keep becoming the kind of people others can trust with real, Christ-centered relationships.  I’m wildly cheering you, Alita Reynolds  👉 Don’t forget to grab your guide (Click Here) for deeper reflection, follow the show, and share this with a friend who needs encouragement today. Be the Friend You Pray For | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Let’s continue discussing the “What’s It Like to Be in a Real Relationship with Me?” series. In part two, we explore what it truly means to be the Godly friend you've prayed for. I share from my heart about the importance of going first in building thriving, Christ-centered relationships—just like Jesus did. Together, we explore what it looks like to reflect Him daily by loving, giving, prayerful, refreshing to others, and sharpening each other like iron sharpens iron. We chat about embracing a God-honoring love for ourselves (not a worldly self-love!) so we can better love others, the beauty of surrounding ourselves with givers (and being one, too!), and why being prayed up before meeting with friends can truly transform our conversations and community. I also get real about the struggles—like when the love and effort you pour out aren’t reciprocated—and how we can keep trusting God to bring the right people into our lives. This series is close to my heart, and I’m growing alongside you. Let’s continue to reflect Jesus more and more every day! I’m wildly cheering you, Alita Reynolds 👉 Don’t forget to grab your guide for deeper reflection, follow the podcast, and share this with a friend who needs encouragement today. GO FIRST to Create Real Relationships | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Welcome to the kickoff of our brand-new series, “What’s It Like to Be in a Real Relationship with Me?” In this first episode, we dive deep into the heart of thriving, God-centered relationships—and spoiler alert—it all starts with us. We’re exploring what it means to “Go First” in love, just like Jesus did. Whether it’s forgiving first, serving first, or simply choosing kindness first, we’re called to reflect the love of Christ in every relationship we have—friends, family, coworkers, or strangers. We’re asking real, reflective questions like: - Am I the kind of friend I’m praying to have? - What am I sowing in my relationships—and what do I hope to reap? - Where am I waiting for others to go first, when I’m actually called to lead with love? With scripture truths from 1 Corinthians 13, Galatians 6, and Jesus’ teachings, plus personal stories and real-life examples, this episode challenges us to do the heart work—transforming from the inside out so we can love like Jesus on the outside. This is more than a relationship talk—it’s a call to action. Let’s be people overflowing with the love, grace, and patience of Christ. Let’s Go First, let’s love first, and let’s become the kind of person we pray to meet. As always, I’m praying for you and wildly cheering you on toward deeper, more meaningful relationships—with Jesus and with others. 📑 Alita’s Free Guide: Click Here to Download 📮Join the Conversation! Slooow Dooown | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Join me as I open up about a lesson God continues to teach me: how to wait on Him instead of striving ahead. For so long, I lived in a constant rush—trying to do more, be more, and prove myself. But the more I chased, the more I lost sight of who I really am in Christ. Now, I’m learning to live with intention, to trust God’s timing, and to embrace the quiet spaces where He speaks the loudest. I share personal stories, biblical encouragement, and Truths that have helped me slow down and realign with what really matters. If you’ve been feeling stretched thin or stuck in a cycle of hustle, I hope this episode offers you space to breathe and the reminder that your worth isn’t found in what you do—but in who you are. If you’re ready to detox from the pressure, realign your priorities, and walk more closely with Jesus, this episode is for you. My prayer is that you’ll walk away encouraged, grounded, and reminded that the slower you go… the faster you arrive — right where God wants you to be. 📑 Alita’s Free Guide: LINK HERE

Trust God from Pain to Praise | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

Alita Reynolds shares an incredible story of healing and faith in this episode. She starts by asking, "What are you believing for?" and opens up about her own struggle—17 years of constant foot pain that just wouldn’t go away, no matter what she tried. It affected her daily life in so many ways, and she was desperate for relief.  Then, something amazing happened. During her morning prayer time, Alita felt God telling her to trust Him completely—to step out in faith, take off her supportive shoes, and just walk. It wasn’t easy, but she committed to a 21-day journey of renewing her mind, speaking healing over herself, and fully believing in God’s power. And guess what? She was completely healed!  Alita’s message goes beyond just physical healing. She wants everyone to know that faith isn’t just about waiting for a miracle—it’s about walking in trust and obedience every single day. If you’re believing for a breakthrough, she encourages you to keep trusting because God’s timing is always perfect. What About You?   Alita’s story isn’t just about her miracle. It’s about what God can do in your life! - What are you believing for?   - Have you let go of dreams because of fear or doubt?   - Are you speaking life or death over your situation?   - Are you trusting God fully or holding onto your understanding?  Friends, our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He healed her, He can do the same for you. Your miracle may look different—it might be healing, restoration, provision, or breakthrough in another area of your life. Whatever it is, trust Him! 📑 Alita’s Free Guide: Click Here

Aligning Your Beliefs with God’s Truth: The Truth Train | Part 3 | Alita Reynolds | Women of Faith

In this final episode of the Truth Train series, we want to encourage one another to take a deep look at our beliefs and align them with God’s truth. When our beliefs are rooted in truth, making decisions becomes so much easier. The Truth Train has three parts: truth as the engine, beliefs as the fuel, and feelings as the caboose. If our beliefs are built on lies or misalignment, they can steer us in the wrong direction. We explored a powerful story today about how false beliefs can shape our reality—and even hold us back from the life God has planned for us. Let’s take time with the Beliefs Worksheet, challenge any beliefs that don’t align with God’s word, and allow Him to renew our minds. Romans 12:2 reminds us that transformation starts with how we think. We’d love to hear from you—share your thoughts, and we can’t wait to continue this journey together in the next episode!
