The New Moon in Scorpio is happening on the 25th October 2022 will be at 2° 0’ depending on your location.  The New Phase is a new evolutionary cycle with instinctual random impulses, urges and spontaneous experiences initiated to discover and set a new intention.   To commence the new means culminations of the old to make way for the new. The Scorpio archetype aligns with identifying what no longer serves you and let it go to evolve your consciousness and grow. The Full Moon in Pisces will be happening on the 10th September 2022 at 17° 41’ depending on your location.  Full Moons signify completions, closures and letting go.   We can become more aware of where we feel emotionally and energetically blocked keeping us stuck.   In order to let go and release these blockages around stressful thoughts or limiting beliefs we must investigate to see what is the cause behind them which requires honesty with ourselves.  (see the work of Byron Katie - link below) Pisces is associated to merging with the original Source, the Oneness,  where peace and bliss reside.  We are in its protection; we need nothing as all is taken care of.   When we incarnate we feel the separation from Source and the separation from our mother. In separation from the Cosmic mother (Source) and our Earth mother we know we will feel pain and suffering and we don’t know how to cope with this.  This is why in Pisces; 12th house and Neptune we can experience disillusion and escapism to distance us from pain and suffering.  Escapism takes many forms; addictions, overeating, overspending, sex, binge watching tv, drugs and other abusive substances.   We can feel victimised and persecuted.  All the signs merge with each other in Pisces this is why Pisces is considered Egoless.  We feel compassion and empathy for others as we connect with each other and all living things.  We can often feel things are futile, becoming passive and compliant with what is happening.  This type of surrendering causes dysfunction relating to victimization.   Pisces rules our immune system.  It’s not just our immune system that fights viruses, parasites and disease it also includes our emotional, intellectual and physical immune systems.  Our immune system is directly associated with our emotions.  When we are in heavy emotions of guilt, shame, worry, anger, stress and unworthiness this weakens our immune system.  We must practice having a healthy immune system on all levels. The Full Moon in Cancer will be happening at 27°, 50 minutes on the 17 or 18th of January 2022 depending on your location.  How it affects you individually depends on what house it is transiting in your chart.   Interestingly this is the 4th Full Moon at 27° of 6 Full Moons with the Full Moon in Libra on 16th April at 26°, 45 minutes which is very close to 27°. Here the Moon is in its own sign of Cancer where the energy is at its most potent.     The Moon in Cancer relates to home, family, feelings of safety and inner security, nurturing and deep instincts to protect yourself and others. Cancer rules the 4th house, it is a cardinal sign meaning it initiates action emotionally.  The 4th house in our birth chart can indicate how you adapt to change. The Full Moon in Taurus on the 19th of November 2021 at 27°, 14 minutes so make sure you check the time and day for your location and see where this is happening in your own chart.  The Full Moon can be a stressful time as we grow and develop by letting go.  The Sun is directly opposite and the Moon is fully illuminated.  She leaves the Sun to enter its waning phase only to journey back to the Sun to commence the next new phase. In the Full Moon we can be challenged by the feedback of others or feedback from our environment.  What we commenced when there was a New Moon in Taurus can continue, correct the course or let go and release. Often completions, closures and culminations occur on Full Moons, we feel there is no more we can do and meaning presents itself as we reflect.  See where this is happening in your chart. Lunar eclipses relate to culmination and Solar eclipses to new beginnings. With the New Moon in Scorpio at 12°, 40 minutes we set our intentions for a new beginning.  As of 22nd October we entered Scorpio season.  This will be a very intense time, with the Sun and Moon conjunct signifying the Scorpio New Moon.  We have also entered Eclipse season with the lunar eclipse happening in Taurus on November 19th which opposes Scorpio and then a powerful solar eclipse on 4th December.    Scorpio is about life/death/transformation.  This is about releasing the destructive core beliefs of the underworld we have deep down that can lead to the lower and denser vibrations of Scorpio being jealousy, betrayal, obsessive, possessive, jealously, manipulative behaviours and even revenge. With the Full Moon in Aries is at 27° and 26 minutes which means the Sun is also at 27° and 26 minutes in the opposite sign of Libra.   There can be feelings of tension around Full Moons as the energy is expressed outwards between opposing signs. The Full Moon is about completion, culmination and closure.  We are in a growth phase from the New Moon to the Full Moon by developing, pondering and taking action.  In the Full Moon phase we begin to grow by letting go and releasing also developing, pondering and taking action.  The Sun opposes the Moon completely illuminating what is in the dark.    Oppositions mirror everything back to us where we can learn from our own errors or on the negative side we can project our own inadequacies onto others.  This will be something to take note of with the Sun in Libra.  Libra the sign of relating to others where we experience extremes and projection can be more activated.  It is no wonder we experience tension on Full Moons.  You can look at the tension as difficult or the opportunity is to deal with what is being brought out in the light.     When the Sun and Moon oppose each other tension and friction are present. Full Moon in Pisces on 20th September, 2021 happening at 28 degrees and 13 minutes.   Full Phase:  A time of Meaning or Completion:  Release The Full Phase is primarily the beginning of a waning cycle.  Our initial intention or something in our lives has come to a completion and is ready to be released.  In Evolutionary Astrology we call this phase “meaning or completion" meaning something has come to a fruition, completion or resolution and it is time to release and let go as the Moon enters its waning cycle.  Full Moon in Pisces:  As we look at this chart we see the Full Moon in Pisces is happening at 28°, 13 minutes on the 20th of September 2021. Full Moon in Aquarius on 22nd August, 2021 happening at 29 degrees and 36 minutes.   We all feel the intensity and the changes at the current time.   This concentration of energy in Aquarius this year and in the last month is reflecting the shift that is beginning to take place.    Our ability to adapt quickly will be to our advantage as the change is continual.   The constant theme of letting go of the old that doesn't serve you anymore to make way for the new by adapting to the changes we are constantly going through currently.   This is an exciting time to look forward to an ideal future that is waiting for us as a human family and as individuals.  Look from high above, meditate keeping yourself balanced and think of the ideal world you want.   This is the 2nd Full Moon in Aquarius in a Month which is Very Rare. On the 24th July we had the Full Moon at 1° of Aquarius and this Full Moon is at 29° in Aquarius.  The New Moon in Leo occurred on the 8th August.  Aquarius is the polar opposite to Leo so there has been a concentration of this energy on the Leo/Aquarius axis bringing our awareness to issues related to community (Aquarius) and to us, as individuals (Leo).
