S3E44: How to Handle Conflict Without Destroying Your Team (And Avoid Killing Your Business)

If your team avoids confrontation, you're not addressing real problems. You're just letting them pile up until something breaks. Tikis and I walk through a real conflict that happened hours before we recorded—how we handled it, why we didn't let emotions run the conversation, and how we resolved a major issue in under an hour.  We break down the difference between confronting the problem and attacking the person. Why playing the blame game is a complete waste of time. And how high-performing teams use tension to pull each other up to a higher standard instead of tearing each other down. If you're struggling with accountability on your team, avoiding hard conversations because you don't know how to handle them, or dealing with performance issues that never seem to get resolved—this episode will give you a framework that actually works. S3E43: Why Your Marketing Stopped Working (What High-Performing Founders Do Instead)

Your marketing stopped working and you don't know why. Your ads aren't converting like they used to. Your messaging feels off. You're hiring people but nothing's moving.  Welcome to 2026—where the old playbook is officially dead. In this episode, Tikis and I break down why most founders are struggling right now and what actually separates the ones who scale from the ones who don't survive. We're talking about the shift from survival mode to dialing things in. Why targeting doesn't matter anymore but your messaging matters more than ever. How AI exposes broken foundations instead of fixing them. And why if you can't sell with cold traffic, your brand isn't as strong as you think it is. If you're hitting a ceiling, burning ad spend with nothing to show for it, or wondering why what used to work doesn't work anymore—this is the conversation you need to hear. S3E42: Our HALF MILLION DOLLAR MISTAKE: What happens when you ignore your business framework

A few years ago, I was grinding it out like everyone else.  Chasing leads, closing deals, trying to figure out how to scale without losing my mind or my margin. I made every mistake you can think of. Hired the wrong people.  Trusted my gut when I should've trusted the data. Burned cash on ideas that sounded brilliant at 2 AM but crashed by sunrise. And then something clicked. I started building systems.  Real frameworks.  Decision-making processes that actually worked when the pressure was on. I stopped winging it and started winning it. Now? I run a sales automation company that's helping businesses close more deals with less effort.  But here's the thing... I'm still in the game. I'm still making decisions, testing strategies, and yeah, still screwing up sometimes.  The difference is, I'm learning faster. Moving smarter. And I'm not keeping any of it to myself. Every week on this podcast, I pull back the curtain on what's really happening in my business. The wins.  The losses. The $400K mistakes that taught me more than any course ever could. I break down the frameworks we use, the systems we've built, and the hard lessons that cost real money. This isn't motivational content. This isn't theory from someone who sold a company ten years ago and now just talks about it.  This is what's happening right now, in real time, in the arena. If you're building something real and you want the truth about what it actually takes... the strategy, the execution, the failures, and the comebacks... then you're in the right place. Let's get to work.  Watch the full episode now and learn how we turned a $423K mistake into our biggest lesson yet.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

S3E41: How to make good decisions to unlock business growth and more opportunities

The biggest risk to your business isn't competition. It's you.  Specifically, it's your emotional volatility and your inability to make objectively good decisions based on data instead of feelings. In this episode, Tikis and I tackle the one thing that separates businesses that scale from businesses that stay stuck - emotional decision-making.  I've watched entrepreneurs tank their own growth because they cared more about how something was done than whether it was actually working. I had a client ready to shut off a cancellation sequence because it 'felt too aggressive.'  The data? 62% rebooking rate with over 500 calls rebooked.  Conservative estimate? Over $305,000 in revenue. They almost killed it because of feelings, not facts. Another client lost their mind over 3 leads. Started panicking, tagging the team, asking for emergency help.  When I pulled up the dashboard, all 3 leads had responded, and one booked a call. The system was working. Their emotions were lying to them. This is the pattern I see over and over. You're too close to your business. You hate the way your top closer runs calls even though they're closing at 50%.  You want to change the messaging even though it's converting at 12% lead-to-book. You're making decisions based on preference instead of performance. I walk you through exactly how to fix this. How to zoom out, slow down, and let the numbers guide your decisions instead of your gut reactions. Why function over form is the only way to scale. If you want the outcome more than you want it done your way, this episode will change how you run your business. Stop letting your emotions cost you money. Stop letting your feelings tank your revenue.  Hit play and learn how to make decisions that actually scale your business.  Drop a 💰 if you've ever killed something that was working because it didn't "feel right."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

S3E40: How to scale your business without overwhelming your team (Get a bigger plate method)

What's up crew!Real talk - one of our clients had a 2 for 98 close rate. TWO sales out of 98 qualified leads. And they wanted to blame marketing.I said send me the sales calls. Within 30 seconds, I knew exactly what the problem was. Their sales team couldn't close an open door, but they were really good at convincing leadership it was someone else's fault. We fired the whole team. Brought in new reps. $100K week immediately. Same marketing. Same leads. Different results. That's what happens when you finally solve the RIGHT problem instead of just staying busy with what feels comfortable.Look, at Charlie we're getting stress-tested right now. Enrollments are at an all-time high, team's overwhelmed, and honestly? This is the best time to be alive in business. When you're getting pushed to your limit, that's when the real leaks show up. That's when you're forced to level up.In this episode, Tikis and I break down how to actually identify your real constraints, why being overwhelmed is a gift, the 30-day rule we use for team performance, and why faith isn't a license to be naive when it comes to your business. Most business owners are losing thousands - maybe hundreds of thousands - every week by focusing on the wrong problems. S3E39: How we turned our WORST month into a RECORD BREAKER

Yo, what's good? Welcome back to another episode of the Boardroom Podcast, where we keep it real about the startup grind. The month of August was WILD, y'all. Started as one of our worst months, ended up being our absolute record month. That's the volatility of this startup life, but man, when it hits different, it HITS different. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 Real talk - fit pros are just built differently. They take action FAST. Why? Because you don't get in shape sitting on your a** doing nothing. You get under the bar and put in the reps. That mentality carries straight into business. They're coachable, they invest in education, and when you prove you can solve their problem? They're ready to roll. That's why our Blue Chip portfolio is majority fit pros and why I still love serving this space at the highest level. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞'𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 Here's what's crazy - we've been training Charlie on a sales engine that's making the baseline AI better and better. Like, out of the box, new clients are getting a 10-year sales vet. No joke. And when we stopped restricting Charlie with rigid scripts (what we call "naked Charlie" or vanilla Charlie), holy hell... the conversations got DEEP. Natural mirroring, reframes, tie-downs - all without us explicitly programming it. That's what happens when you build with a sales perspective, not just a technical one. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐌 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐨𝐦𝐛 Look, if you're doing $50K-$100K/month with a DM funnel? I salute you. Seriously. I tip my hat because I KNOW you're a dog and you've got savages on your team. But here's the reality: you're glued to your phone 10-12 hours a day. Your team's burnt out. The lead quality is volatile as hell. And I can see it in your eyes on calls - you've got maybe 30 more days before you burn this thing down. Been there. Seen it. Called it out to clients' faces.  𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐃𝐌 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐮 (𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭) A human DM setter can handle maybe 250-500 leads a month if they're SAVAGE. But DM campaigns? You're getting 500 leads per WEEK. Sometimes per DAY. Do the math - you'd need 30 people to handle that effectively.  That's why people cap out around $100K/month with DM funnels. The evolution? Keep the DM funnel running, but start diversifying into call funnels. It's harder to set up (90 days of darkness before it pops off), but you can scale to multiple eight figures with a dialed-in call funnel. Rarely seen anyone do that with just DMs.  𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐀𝐈 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 Charlie gives you your bandwidth back. Your team gets their bandwidth back. You can squeeze more juice from your DM campaigns while you're building out that call funnel infrastructure. That's the play. 𝐌𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮? Drop a comment - are you running DM funnels or call funnels? What do you love? What's crushing your soul? Let's talk about it. And if you're a fit pro reading this and feeling burnt out from the grind? Hit us up. We're building features specifically for your vertical that are going to take your business to the next level. S3E38: When Your Business Is Dying: How to Violently Build Momentum Again

When your business is stagnant or declining, most entrepreneurs make the fatal mistake of throttling back their marketing while they "fix things."  This episode reveals why that's completely backwards and how we've turned around multiple blue chip clients who were stuck in revenue decline.  We break down the exact case study of a client who was splitting her messaging between plant-based and menopause markets, confusing her audience and killing her conversions.  The moment we had her abandon the plant-based angle and go all-in on menopause only, she generated 16 sales in a single week and eliminated her entire DM team overhead.  We explore Russell Brunson's "hungry market" principle and why targeting people in genuine high pain always beats having the perfect product.  I also share the biggest mistake I made with Charlie AI in 2023, when our product was terrible but I still throttled back acquisition instead of being transparent about our limitations and offering discounted rates.  The reality is that momentum is incredibly difficult to rebuild once you lose it, but new enrollments solve virtually every business problem because fresh cash flow gives you the resources to hire people and fix whatever's breaking.  If your business has flatlined, this episode gives you the exact framework for violently rebuilding momentum through increased sales and marketing activity. Ready to turn your business around? Hit up Tikis or me on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn to learn about our Blue Chip done-for-you acquisition system. We only work with 8-12 clients at a time for maximum results. P.S.  Stop waiting for your product to be perfect before you start marketing aggressively. Your business needs momentum more than it needs perfection, and new enrollments are the lifeblood that keeps everything else running.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

S3E37: Essential Habits of Highly Successful Entrepreneurs Like Taylor O'Hare

Taylor has helped build sales teams that produced millions in cash collected and worked alongside industry heavyweights running multi-million-dollar offers. You’ll hear why most SDR teams fail, how to create unstoppable momentum inside your business, and the leadership moves that keep top performers loyal and producing. S3E36: Why Your Offer Sucks And Why You Can't Generate Leads

What’s up, good fam, Iggy here.  In this episode of The Boardroom Podcast me and Tikis get real about why most entrepreneurs struggle to generate leads and scale their business.  Everybody wants to blame ads, platforms, or budgets but the truth is most people have weak offers and poor positioning. We break down why the businesses crushing it with Charlie have clear marketing, strong demand generation, and founders who understand sales, while the ones that stall usually treat ads like organic posts and wonder why nothing sticks.  Organic sales can fool you into thinking your offer is solid, but paid traffic exposes the truth. If your offer is not clear, not unique, and not solving a painful problem, no amount of content or ad spend will save you. We go deep on the three levels of trust every buyer must cross before they ever give you money, and why hitting a nine or ten in those areas is what actually closes deals.  We talk about what makes someone an attractive character in their market and why it has nothing to do with being perfect looking and everything to do with being relatable, credible, and able to speak your audience’s language. We also share stories from real brand audits where we had to tell founders point blank that they were the problem.  Some people cried, some got offended, but the ones who listened and made changes turned around and built seven-figure businesses. That is the power of clear messaging, strong positioning, and the right face leading your brand. If you are wondering why your ads are not working or why your funnel is stalling this episode is the reality check you need.  It will sting, but it will also give you the clarity to fix your offer, become the attractive character your audience actually responds to, and stop wasting money trying to shortcut the process. If you want us to do an audit on your brand and give you the raw truth, comment AUDIT on the comment section. We will tear it down, build it back up, and show you exactly what needs to change. This one is straight talk, no sugarcoating, and full of lessons that can save you from burning months and thousands of dollars.     ▶️ Watch the full episode of The Boardroom Podcast on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/e-vqaSstPaUSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

S3E35: Why Reputation Beats Revenue in Business (And How It Makes You More Money)

In business, your reputation is your real currency. Revenue might keep the lights on, but reputation builds a legacy.  In this episode, we unpack why protecting your name is worth more than chasing short-term sales,  and how doing right by your customers can actually grow your business over time. I share a story where I refunded a massive amount in sales after a product didn’t deliver as promised. It stung in the moment, but it kept our brand clean and our customers speaking positively about us.  Tikis shares a clothing order nightmare where a brand refused to make a small gesture to fix their mistake, losing him as a loyal customer for good. In this episode of The Boardroom Podcast, we break down how poor customer service erases loyalty, why keeping a customer is smarter than constantly replacing them, and how to offboard someone so well that they still recommend you, even if they didn’t get results.  We pull lessons from brands to show that above-and-beyond service is a competitive edge most entrepreneurs ignore!   ▶️ Watch the full episode of The Boardroom Podcast on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/qxhpt_v3XBsSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

S3E34: How Do You Stay Calm When Life Gets Crazy?

Everything hit at once. We’re in the middle of a massive transition, and everything’s breaking at the same time. New infrastructure. CRM overhaul. Website rebuild. Product redesign. Dev turnover. Competitor impersonation.  It’s one of those moments where everything you used to rely on starts crumbling, and you realize the systems that got you here won’t get you to what’s next. In this episode, we break down what it looks like when a business hits its breaking point: infrastructure collapsing, systems failing, team shifts, product overhaul, and outside threats all hitting at once.  No script. No safety net. Just real pressure, real leadership, and the real cost of growth. This isn’t a story about staying calm and pretending it’s fine. It’s about charging into the chaos, owning the storm, and coming out sharper on the other side. Because when everything breaks at once, you get one shot to rebuild it better. Here’s what I get into: Why every major transition feels like the walls are caving in What I learned when key players left mid-launch How to lead when the product breaks and the pressure spikes Why distributed responsibility isn’t optional… It’s survival How I stay locked in when the future’s unclear If you’re leading through hell and building anyway… The Boardroom is for you.  It’s where founders stop faking it and start building with intention, resilience, and a team that can take the heat.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

S3E33: WATCH: The bulletproof formula behind businesses that always win

Most businesses don’t fail because of a lack of effort, they fail because they’re built on guesswork. No systems, no structure, no real communication across the team.  In this episode, we’ll walk you through the bulletproof formula we’re using to turn Charlie into a company that wins by design, not by accident.  We’re breaking down how to engineer your marketing so leads come in pre-qualified, how to structure your sales process so conversions are natural, and how to deliver results in a way that doesn’t rely on superstar talent.  And most importantly, how to build a team that communicates clearly, solves fast, and stays aligned through the chaos. If someone follows the process, they win, every time. That’s the standard.  That’s what the best companies in the world get right. If you want your business to scale, grow without chaos, and actually become something that lasts, this episode will shift how you think and how you build, for good. Stay tuned! Watch this episode. S3E31: Why losing your best employee might be the best thing for your business?

Every founder dreads that moment when the best person looks you in the eye and says they’re leaving. It feels personal. It feels like a setback. I’ve been there. I know what that weight feels like. But I’ve also learned that losing people doesn’t always mean losing momentum. Sometimes it exposes what you’ve been ignoring. Sometimes it forces you to lead different, think bigger, and rebuild stronger. In this episode, I’m sharing real lessons from the trenches. What happens when good people leave. How it challenges your systems, your vision, your leadership. And why it might be the exact pressure you needed to grow beyond where you’ve been stuck. If you’ve ever lost a key player or felt the fear that your team might shift, lean in. There’s an opportunity hidden in every painful exit. It all works out for your good. S3E30: What’s Really Working For High Ticket Coaching In 2025?

You can’t fake it anymore. The coaching game has changed. The agency game, too.  What worked even 12 months ago is dead. Cookie-cutter funnels, random lookalike targeting, copy-paste webinars—done. If you’re serious about growing a high-ticket offer, this episode gives you the real blueprint.  What’s working? What’s not? And what the top 1% are doing that the rest of the market hasn’t caught up to yet. We’ll walk you through how the smartest coaches and consultants are using AI to collapse time.  How they’re engineering demand with message-first creative.  How they’re building funnels that actually convert cold traffic into paid clients without jumping on 97 calls a week. We’re not talking about hacks. This is about running a business that gets results and prints consistently. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤 Everyone’s chasing the wrong stuff. The game isn’t audience targeting anymore.  The game is who can out-message and out-create their competitors every single week.  Eighty percent of the outcome comes from how strong your creativity is and how clear your message hits. AI is not your strategy. It’s your speed advantage.  It helps you shorten the time to value. It helps your clients win faster. And when your clients win faster, your brand becomes undeniable. We talk about creative testing. If you’re not testing new ads weekly, you’re just spending money to stay confused.  Real operators treat creative like inventory. It’s the engine. Targeting still has a place but it’s second in command now.  Open targeting. Interest-based. Lookalikes.  Most of you are messing with the wrong one for where you’re at. We break that down. Your pixel data? Most of it is trash. Your funnel?  Probably leaking leads. If your structure is sloppy, no amount of ad spend will save you. Fix the foundation. Messaging is where you either win or disappear. You’re not just selling a result. You’re selling trust.  You’re selling a belief.  That has to come through in every headline, every video, every CTA. And yeah, we talk about pricing.  Stop playing small because you feel unqualified. If your offer delivers transformation, price like it.  Stop letting imposter syndrome run your business. 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 If you’re a high-ticket coach or consultant and you’re tired of guessing your way through growth. If you’re done with leads that ghost and funnels that flop.  If you’re ready to run real paid traffic and build a system that scales without breaking your calendar This one is non-negotiable Not theory. S3E29: Why Winning Is the Most Dangerous Phase in Business

When most people start winning, they throw their feet up, take a breath, maybe even post some self-congratulatory BS on LinkedIn. Not me.  That’s exactly when I tighten the screws and ask, “Where are we slipping?”  In this episode of The Boardroom Podcast, we break down what happens behind the scenes when we hit a growth spurt and why coasting is the fastest path to crashing. We’re in a season where things are heating up at Charlie. Leads are flowing, clients are enrolling, and momentum’s picking up steam. But that’s not a cue to celebrate.  That’s the red flag to go harder, clean up the backend, expose the weak links, and raise the damn standard.  If you’ve ever had a taste of momentum and thought about easing up, this one will punch you in the gut. Me and Tikis talk about building real systems, exposing cracks when things feel good, and why talent won’t save you if your backend sucks. You’ll hear how we’re turning our CX team into killers, overhauling our AM systems, and getting ready to scale without breaking the machine. S3E24: The Truth About Underperforming Employees (How To Know When It's Time)

Yo, real talk - we need to address the elephant in the room that's killing your business.  Everyone's out here talking about marketing and sales, but nobody wants to talk about what happens when your team isn't performing. S3E23: The Sales Funnel That Prints Cash (And The Ones That Don’t!)

What’s the best way to bring in high-ticket clients without driving yourself crazy?  Which sales funnels make money, and which ones are a complete waste of time?  In this episode, me and Tikis break it all down—no fluff, no theory, just real experience from what we’ve actually tested (and what we’ll never touch again). We’ve tried it all. DM ads, VSLs, webinars, challenge funnels, group communities…  Some work fast but will burn you out. Others take more effort upfront but scale like crazy once you get them dialed in.  And then there are the ones that straight-up suck. We’re giving you the real playbook—what’s worth your time, what to avoid, and how to stop throwing money at things that don’t work. If you’re running a high-ticket business (or trying to), you need to hear this.  If you’re starting from scratch and need quick cash, or you’re looking to scale past $100K months without working 24/7, we got you covered. Here’s what we get into: The fastest funnel for making money TODAY (no tech, no crazy setup, just results) The funnel that WILL burn you out (if you’re doing this, you need an exit plan) The one we swear by for long-term growth and real scalability Why most people fail at funnels—and how to actually make one work Our personal ranking of the best and worst funnels (no BS, just facts) Want us to build out a high-converting VSL funnel for you? S3E22: Why Rapid Business Changes Kill 90% of Businesses

S3E21: Why Being Obsessed Makes You More Money?

What's going on crew, welcome back to The Boardroom Podcast where we help you stay calm, change lives, and have a business on your terms. Listen up - I'm coming at you solo today to break down something that's been on my mind. We'll talk about why being truly obsessed with what you do isn't just some motivational BS - it's what separates the people making real money from those just playing business. Here's the thing: I've watched two of my brothers make it to the NFL, and let me tell you - what separates the pros from everyone else isn't what most people think. It's not about knowing more. It's about being so obsessed with the fundamentals that this stuff becomes second nature. In this episode, I'm breaking down why masters in any field - whether it's NFL players or 7-figure entrepreneurs - actually need LESS information to make better decisions. I'll show you how this same principle has helped me spot problems in fitness marketing funnels instantly, and why being genuinely curious about your craft will make you more money than forcing yourself to learn the latest strategies. If you're tired of overthinking every business decision and want to understand how real masters think, this episode is for you. Let's dive in! S3E19: The Boardroom Podcast S3 Ep 19: The $1 Million Mistake Most Founders Make (And How to Avoid)

Yo, what's up crew! Back with another raw episode of The Boardroom Podcast, and this one's hitting different. 💯 I had to bring Tikis in because we keep seeing the same thing happen - good entrepreneurs making terrible decisions because they're stuck in their feelings. I'm talking about people who are shutting down winning campaigns because they "feel" like it's not working, or freaking out over two slow days when their month is crushing it. Real talk? Me and Tikis almost lost it yesterday when a client was ready to blow up their whole funnel over a couple slow days... meanwhile their last THREE WEEKS were breaking records! Here's what we're breaking down in this one: The emotional trap that's killing your business (I've been there, and it ain't pretty) My "stupid simple" way of tracking numbers (you don't need some crazy NASA spreadsheet) Why I tell clients to chill when they have a "bad week" (and what to look at instead) The seasonal stuff nobody talks about (like why summer actually SUCKS for fitness businesses) The exact numbers that matter (and all the BS ones you can ignore) Plus, I'm giving away our funnel tracker template - the same one we use to keep our clients from making million-dollar mistakes. Look, if you're tired of running your business on vibes and want to start making moves that actually make sense, this episode is for you. Stay calm, change lives, and have business on your terms. S3E14: Why 90% of AI Sales Tools Will Be Dead By 2025 (We're Changing The Game)

Hey crew! Just dropped a massive episode that's going to ruffle some feathers in the AI sales world. Let me tell you why I'm so pumped about this one. You know how everyone's talking about AI being the future of sales? Well, we're not just talking – we're building it. In this episode, I sat down with my team to break down some game-changing updates we've been cooking up at Charlie. Here's the thing that most AI companies get wrong: they try to force you into their ecosystem. It's like they're saying, "Hey, dump your entire tech stack and use our stuff instead." That's BS, and we all know it.We've been heads down building something different. Want to use your industry-specific CRM? Go for it. Prefer Zapier? We got you. API? Done. Charlie now works wherever you need it to work. No handcuffs, no BS.But here's what really gets me excited – our new sophisticated AI model. We've been testing it internally, and holy crap, it's mind-blowing. I'm talking about AI that can handle complex conversations so well that even tech-savvy buyers can't tell they're talking to a bot. And yeah, we also solved that annoying green bubble problem with iMessage integration (iPhone users, you know what I'm talking about). The best part? This isn't just about having cool tech. It's about fundamentally changing how sales teams operate. Imagine having an AI sales agent that actually feels like part of your team, not just another tool you have to manage.I'll be straight with you – not everyone needs all these features. If you're selling fitness programs or real estate courses, our standard model is already crushing it. But if you're dealing with sophisticated B2B buyers who can smell a bot from a mile away? That's where things get interesting.Stay tuned for more updates. We're just getting started, and I can't wait to show you what's next.Stay calm, change lives, and have business on your terms.P.S. S3E14: WATCH: MIND-BLOWING Financial Strategies for Fitness Revealed

Let's be honest – most of us got into the fitness industry because we're passionate about helping people transform their lives, not because we love staring at spreadsheets.I've consulted with hundreds of fitness business owners, and I can count on one hand the number who've told me they're excited about crunching numbers or analyzing cash flow statements. That's exactly why I knew my recent conversation with Lauren Schoenfeld, the money expert for health and fitness businesses, would be game-changing for our community. As a former Equinox finance executive who helped weather the COVID storm, Lauren brings a unique perspective that combines deep financial expertise with real-world fitness industry experience. In this episode, we dive into the nitty-gritty of what actually makes fitness businesses profitable. S3E13: The Boardroom Podcast Ep#13 S3: How Dan Built a 2.1M Business Using Subscriptions

What is going on crew, welcome back to The Boardroom Podcast.Today I'm bringing you a special encore episode with someone I've been watching closely in the online business space — Dan Suckling. Now, I've got to tell you why I'm so excited about this conversation. Dan and I actually go way back to when we were both running fitness masterminds. I used to funnel hack him (I'll admit it!) because I loved how he positioned his offers and his polarizing messaging style. The guy just got it right. But what's really fascinating is how Dan has completely revolutionized his business model in a way that very few people have successfully pulled off. He went from running a high-ticket operation with a 12-person team, endless sales calls, and 20K offers, to a pure subscription model with no sales team, no sales calls, and everything running through his automated client-getting system. Here's why this episode is going to blow your mind: Dan's not just talking theory. He's showing us how he's actually generating more profit with a $97/week subscription than he did with his high-ticket offers. We're talking 70% profit margins versus the typical 20-25% in the high-ticket space. And he's doing it with just two team members instead of twelve. If you're feeling burned out from the traditional high-ticket model or looking for a more sustainable way to scale your business, you're going to want to tune in to every minute of this episode. Dan's dropping some serious knowledge about where I believe this industry is heading.Stay tuned! Episode Highlights; 📌Welcome to The Boardroom Podcast [00:00] 📌How does Dan generate $4,000 a week despite all rejections?  [2:40]📌Dan considered adding a subscription offer to supplement high-ticket services [5:21]📌The subscription model allows for high leverage, with a small team providing significant value to clients. What's up guys! Welcome back to The Boardroom Podcast.Yo, we need to talk about something real today. We're talking about why I always tell my team I got them before clients, why I'll eat sh*t and own it when things go wrong, and how this whole leadership thing actually creates products that win.Straight facts only today, no fluff. S3E11: The Boardroom Podcast S3 Ep# 11: The Hidden Legal Traps Killing Your Business Value

Just dropped a game-changing episode with Omeed Tabei, and trust me, this isn't your typical boring legal talk. He's built his whole practice around actually helping online business owners and startup founders get their legal stuff right. We went deep on something every agency owner needs to hear - how to make your business actually sellable. The crazy part? Most people do it completely backwards. They wait until they're burned out, desperate to sell, then wonder why buyers aren't jumping at their offer.Omeed broke down exactly why that doesn't work. He shared why you need at least 36 months to plan your exit (yeah, seriously), and dropped some heavy knowledge about client contracts that honestly blew my mind.Real talk - if you've got one client bringing in half your revenue, or you're treating your VAs like contractors when they're really employees, you need to hear this episode. These are the kind of mistakes that can tank your business value overnight. But my favorite part? His take on success. It's not about chasing results or obsessing over growth. It's about falling in love with the daily process and letting success follow naturally.Catch the full episode now. Real Talk: Why You're Getting Played in Commercial Real Estate (And What to Do About It)Just wrapped an eye-opening conversation with Colin Carr, and let me tell you - if you're handling your own commercial lease negotiations, you're probably leaving hundreds of thousands on the table.Colin dropped some serious truth bombs about how landlords are banking on your ignorance. Get this: the average lease renewal his team handles saves clients over $200,000. Not because they're doing anything magical, but because they understand the game landlords are playing. Here's the wild part - most business owners who get played don't even know it happened. They walk away thinking they crushed the negotiation, while the landlord's laughing all the way to the bank. It's like a 4-year-old thinking they won a wrestling match against their dad who let them win.Tune in to the newest episode of The Boardroom Podcast to hear how Colin built a nationwide business saving entrepreneurs from getting hustled in real estate deals, and why trying to negotiate your own lease is like bringing a knife to a gunfight.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In the latest Boardroom Podcast episode, I sat down with my man Andrew Windham, who brings a fresh perspective on managing finances for entrepreneurs. As Andrew explained, many business owners are great at making money but lose it unknowingly because they don’t manage it well. His mission is to change that by providing a system that simplifies financial decisions and allows entrepreneurs to get back to what they do best: growing their businesses. We talked about his journey from working at IBM, where he closed a $3 million deal and only got paid $5,000 in commission, to launching his own venture dedicated to helping founders maximize their financial freedom. What I loved most about our conversation was how Andrew breaks down complex financial concepts in a way that’s easy to grasp—like his analogy of using a drill, not to show it off at parties, but to get the job done. For anyone looking to understand how to balance personal and business finances effectively, Andrew’s “Simple Automated Cash Flow” system is a game-changer. It only requires 15 minutes a month to keep everything on track and avoid the common pitfalls many founders face. I appreciated his straightforward approach and how he shared the importance of building a solid financial foundation while still living life on your own terms.𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭 for more details on his automated cash flow system and take his quick financial assessment linked in the show notes. Enjoy the conversation, and remember to stay calm, change lives, and always have business on your terms!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

S1E34: Getting Your Body To Reflect Your Success with Josiah Novak | TBP 34

Iggy sits down with Josiah Novak, a guy who seems to have cracked the code on balancing a successful life with top-notch health.  He's here to share his journey and some invaluable insights on how you can start feeling and looking your best without sacrificing the things that matter most to you. He works with high-performing guys who often put everything else first, neglecting their own health. Sound familiar? He starts with fitness because, let's be honest, we all want to look and feel our best.  Josiah believes most men already have the skills and discipline needed to be healthy; it's just a matter of redirecting that energy towards themselves. Fitness is more than just about getting abs; it's about building confidence, making clearer decisions, and interacting with people in a healthier way. Josiah emphasizes the synergy between faith and fitness, explaining how spirituality can provide a playbook for life, guiding you through family, business, and personal health. One of the key takeaways is the importance of setting and maintaining standards for yourself. Fitness isn't just a phase; it's a long-term commitment to better health and well-being. Josiah encourages a balanced approach, avoiding extreme diets and focusing on sustainable habits. He also talks about the significance of having non-negotiables in your routine—those little things you refuse to give up, like date nights or enjoying a glass of wine. The goal is to find a balance that allows you to stay in shape while enjoying life. Josiah lives by a quote that perfectly encapsulates his philosophy: “Live a quiet life, take care of your family, and show up for those you love.”  If you enjoyed this episode, be sure to subscribe, tune in and share this podcast. Starting an online fitness business is tough, right? Marketing, sales, keeping everything running smoothly—it’s a lot. But guess what? It doesn’t have to be a mystery.  Iggy had a chat with Tikis from Blue Chip Media on the Boardroom Podcast, and he shared some golden advice you need to hear. Tikis is a marketing genius. He’s been running successful ad campaigns for years, and he and Iggy often arrive at the same conclusions about what works and what doesn’t. Here's what they talked about: The Big Problem: Messaging The Solution: Do Your Homework Research: Get to know your audience. What are their pain points? What do they need?  Clarity: Make sure your message is spot on. Clear messaging beats fancy design any day.  AND A WHOLE LOT MORE!!! Expect to spend money just to gather data. S1E28: Unlock Your Brand’s True Potential with AI | TBP 28

Are you struggling to make your brand stand out in today's crazy competitive market?  Do you feel like you're pouring your heart and soul into your work, but your brand just isn't reflecting that?  Well, I get it.  It's frustrating and exhausting, but that's exactly why you need to tune into The Boardroom Podcast with Bijal Patel. Bijal is a branding wizard—I'm talking seven-figure magic here. She has this knack for pulling the very essence of what makes you, well, YOU, and turning it into a brand that not only aligns with who you are but also makes you shine in the digital space.  She helps everyone, from newbies starting their six-figure journey to seasoned pros hitting the eight-figure mark, achieve their true potential. She learned some hard lessons, like the fact that friends and family usually aren't your best marketing gurus—true, right? Instead, she leaned into her skills and adapted, turning to branding when interior design didn't click online. Bijal's journey taught her the importance of betting on yourself, especially when you're at rock bottom. And here's where it gets interesting: Bijal's company is all about blending strategy with creativity. They don't just slap on a logo and call it a day. They dig deep into your vision, values, and voice to create what she calls a "brand brain."  This AI-powered tool leverages everything unique about you and helps you dominate your social media, ads, emails—pretty much everything. Bijal's approach isn't just about looking good; it's about having a strategic depth that 99% of your competitors are probably missing.  We also want to invite you to a two-day brand-powered AI intensive in Houston where you'll get hands-on experience. You'll learn to create content that truly represents your brand voice and walk away with concrete strategies and tools.
