    Superman 64

Superman: The New Superman Adventures, better known as Superman 64, is one of the most notorious games of all time. Universally known to be a half-finished mess, its reputation is well documented, but is there more to the story? Does it deserve a closer look? Can it reached Certified 64 status? Let's put it through the 64-Point Inspection! Find more information on The Cartridge Archive and join our Discord at https://tap2add.me/tcapod FULL TRANSCRIPT

    Mission: Impossible

In 1966, television audiences were introduced to the Impossible Mission Force, a secret government agency that delivered instructions via self-destructing tape recorder. 30 years later, the first of eight Mission: Impossible movies debuted in theaters while an N64 game based on the franchise was set to release a short time later. The movie was a hit, but the game saw years of delays, and its development started to look like the true impossible mission. It finally released in the summer of 1998 to mixed reviews, and commercial success. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to take on the 64-Point Inspection! Buck Bumble

In the fall of 1998, moviegoers were introduced to two different takes on life in the insect world, almost simultaneously. DreamWorks released Antz, its first ever animated feature, just seven weeks before Pixar debuted A Bug's Life. Interestingly, cult N64 classic Buck Bumble released on the exact same day as A Bug's Life. Nearly 30 years later, Buck Bumble received an N64 re-release by modernized console manufacturer ModRetro. Does Buck live up to the buzz? Join us as Buck Bumble takes on the 64-Point Inspection! That early momentum led to the game eventually tallying over one million copies sold, making it one of the Nintendo 64's earliest commercial successes, but how does it stack up againt the 64-Point Inspection? Join us as we put it to the test! Find more information on The Cartridge Archive and join our Discord at https://tap2add.me/tcapod FULL TRANSCRIPT

    1080° Snowboarding

In 1998, the Winter X Games and Nagano Winter Olympics made snowboarding a cultural phenomenon, and Nintendo released 1080° Snowboarding at the perfect time. It featured dazzling tricks, impressive physics modeling, and even officially licensed clothing and gear from major brands, making a real statement about the sport's popularity. The game sold over 2 million copies, but how does it hold up all these years later? We put it to the test with the (totally patented) 64-Point Inspection!
