OLF new floor will be coming to the Church, tile will replace the current carpet.  Project will start Mid February. 4. Save the date Men's conference will be held Sat. 1. This week for Faith Formation on Wednesday, we have an Encounter night.  Adoration, confession music and prayer teams. 2. KC breakfast is offered after the 2 Masses at SJ on Sunday.  Benefits the Altar Server party. 3. Spanish Mass is next Saturday (January 24th) 4. Catholic Schools week is almost here.  St. Francis school will be offering updates on present and future of the school.  Come experience the school's culture, learn about enrollment opportunities and also get an update on the progress of their new North 9th Street Campus Design and school expansion plans.  Refreshments provided by students and staff.  Sunday January 25th at St. Francis Church after the 11:15 AM Mass. 5. That Man is you starts up again this Thursday for 13 weeks.  6 AM hot breakfast, 6:30 presentation, 7 discussion, 7:30 wrap up, all men of the parish welcome.

1-15-26 This session focuses on the Catholic understanding of morality.  A look at the virtues and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

2026  1. No daily Masses this week Fr. Eli will be in Missouri visiting a Madonna House Mission house. 2. Faith formation starts up again this week, this Wed. is Group Night from 6:15-7:30 PM.  All the groups are meeting except Fr. Eli's group.

Announcements: 1. Thanksgiving Day Mass at 8 AM at SJ. 2. No Daily Mass on Friday after Thanksgiving (28th). 3. Christmas Market will be at SJ on Saturday Dec. 6th after the 8 AM first Sat. Mass.  Pick up fresh baked goods and cookies and other crafts.  This is a fundraiser for the CCW. 4. Heads up that Dec. 8th is a Holy Day of Obligation, the Immaculate Conception.  Masses at 9 AM OLF, noon and 6 PM at SJ.

ANNOUNCEMENTS for November 1-2 1. Faith Formation—FORMATION Night is this Wednesday. Dinner at 530 and class from 6:15-7:30pm. 2. SJ’s is hosting a 3-part Luncheon Series on Life after Death-both spiritual and practical help in looking at death. The first one is this Tuesday at 1230 in the social hall. Call the office to register-no fee but we’d like to know how many to plan for. 3. The Ministries Appeal: congrats to SJ: we’ve exceeded our goal. Thank you! (OLF) We’re about $500 away, let’s try to make it this weekend. 4. First Friday is this Friday, November 7th. Mass at 9am at OLF and the usual 8am at SJ. 5. In November we remember our deceased loved ones. Enter their names in the book at the entrances of both churches.

1. Faith Formation—GROUP Night is this Wednesday, Oct. 29th. Several options to choose from. 6:15-7:30pm. Come dressed as your favorite saint-food, games, prizes and contests. 5. (SJ) CCW has Support Sunday envelopes in the pews this weekend. Please be generous if you can. (OLF) There are envelopes at the entrances to support CCW. Although the one here at OLF is inactive, the funds will support the chapter at SJ.

That Man is You (TMIY) meets every Thursday, Sept. 18. 6am fellowship, video and discussion. Finish by 7:30 here in SJ social hall. All men are invited. 3. Next Sunday, September 28 we’ll have a rosary procession starting at 2pm from the new church building site and we’ll walk to our current church here. This is in preparation for the month of October which is dedicated to the rosary. There are also 2 upcoming Novenas leading up to these Marian feast days and you can see next week’s bulletin for more info. 4. We will have a Spanish Mass tomorrow, Sept. 20th at SJ at 8am. 5. Announcements for September 13th-14th 1. This Wed. we have our first Encounter Night which is a monthly event we will be having at St. Joseph 6:15-7:30 PM on one Wednesday a month (refer to the calendar in the new letter for dates).  This is open to anyone in the parish or community.  It is a night of adoration, prayer, music and confession.  The focus is encountering Jesus. 2. This weekend after the two Sunday morning Masses there is an open house for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at the parish office in RM 2.  This is a formation program for 3-6 year olds that will happen Tuesdays and Saturdays.  Come and check out the Atrium that is setup in Room 2. 3. That Man Is You starts up this Thursday at 6 AM-7:30 AM.  This is a men's group that happens most Thursday mornings. 4. If you have a group that you are interested in starting, let us know.  We are posting the groups we currently have at the entrances of the churches, and people can begin signing up.  5. This weekend we are celebrating the Exultation of the Cross in place of the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Parishioners A-K=desserts. L-Z=sides. Please bring your dishes to the food tent before Mass at 4pm. 3. Faith Formation starts Sept. 10 so go online to register or call the office. CGS will have an Open House on the 14th of Sept after both SJ Masses.

Please go to our website or stop by the office. 4. 55+ planning meeting is this Wednesday, August 27 at 7pm in the SJ social hall. 5. Prayer Guild will meet by the sign on the new property to pray the rosary for the project at 5pm this Monday, August 25th.

June 22nd Sunday is Corpus Christi, there will be a Eucharistic Procession after the 10:30 AM Mass around the SJ property.  Also a deanery wide procession from St. Francis to St. Andrews in Brainerd starting at St. Francis at 3 PM.  There will be a meal at St. Andrews afterwards.
