When it comes to education, our votes can shape policies that influence what future generations learn about truth, morality, and the role of faith in society. Many Christians are concerned about curricula that may neglect or contradict core biblical teachings, especially around issues of identity and morality. By supporting candidates and policies that promote educational environments respectful of parental rights and biblical values, Christians can help preserve space for faith-aligned teachings, ensuring children are equipped not only academically but also morally and spiritually.On topics like Israel and abortion, voting allows Christians to stand for biblical principles of life and covenant. Scripture speaks of God’s enduring relationship with Israel, and many Christians see a responsibility to support Israel as a means of honoring God’s promises. Voting can also influence how our nation engages diplomatically and supports allies in the region. On abortion, the Christian view of life as sacred from conception is foundational; voting for leaders who protect life aligns with this belief. These votes can directly impact legislation that either safeguards or undermines the sanctity of life. Voting is not just a civic duty but a deeply spiritual responsibility. As Christians, we are called to be salt and light in the world (Matthew 5:13-16), influencing society in ways that reflect God’s truth, justice, and love. By voting, believers have the opportunity to stand up for biblical values in the public sphere—whether it’s defending the sanctity of life, advocating for justice for the oppressed, or protecting religious freedoms. Ignoring the political process means forfeiting a critical opportunity to bring kingdom principles into the laws and policies that shape our culture. However, the growing public distrust in government—shared by many Christians and average citizens—leads some to feel that voting is more of a "dog and pony show," where the system is rigged and their voices won’t truly make a difference. This sense of disillusionment can be hard to overcome, but as Christians, we are still called to engage faithfully, even when the process seems broken. Voting remains an act of stewardship. Romans 13 teaches that government is ordained by God, and Christians have a responsibility to thoughtfully engage in the political process, even when the system seems flawed. What is Sleep Paralysis? It is often described as "a condition that occurs when a person is aware of their surroundings but is unable to move or speak while falling asleep or waking up. It can be scary, but it's harmless and usually only happens once or twice in a person's life." While this may be true for some, it is certainly not the case for Vicki Joy Anderson, and many others around the world. For some, like Vicki, it is a constant battle, and exhausting problem in which one finds neither rest in their sleep, nor in solace from family and friends. Why, you might ask? Sleep paralysis being anything more than a passing occurrence, is usually viewed as something one either needs to get their head examined for, or receive an exorcism. So either science explains it away, or religious communities stigmatize or ostracize for it's happening. What is the Soul? One of the main beliefs in modern physics about the very fabric of the universe is that it's based on vibrating strings: String Theory. Russell Brand- Throughout his life in the public eye, he has always been a force to which people gravitate. He started as a celebrity actor who was keen on Hedonism as a lens through which to view his worldview. When he worked and moved in the Hollywood world, he was beloved by all. But, seeming to find no real solace in the empty, and ultimately, nihilistic outcome that Hedonism inevitably leads to, he turned away from that world and started to seek an enlightened path through New Age mysticism. More recently, people have come to know him by his daily podcast/video show "Stay Free," in which he regularly challenges corrupt narratives; largely in the sociopolitical realms. Of course, his life laden with controversy because he began to challenge narratives, and several allegations of women being inappropriately engaged with have emerged. This is not to say that these allegations are not true. But they do seem curiously planned if then are not true. In the last week or two, Russell came out - in what seems to have been inadvertently - stating that he now considers himself a Christian and was planning to get baptized. He did indeed get baptized just over a week ago as of this posting. Once again, Russell has rocked the boat aggressively. He has stirred up ire on both the Christian and non-Christian side. The non-Christians are calling him a fool. The Christians are calling him a grifter. What in the world are we supposed to make of all this? Celebrities can indeed try and do PR campaigns in their favor. But is that what Russell is really trying to do? Or, is he sincere? If you watched the previous episode, you’ll know that the Enneagram is a far cry from just a “personality test.”  It is riddled with, at the very least, New Age tropes and connections that lead one away from Jesus and make them dependent on the Enneagram for truth and a filter through which to see the gospel.
