The events that could very well lead to bitterness have never impeded God‘s purpose for your life. However, allowing the bitterness to take over throws us out of alignment and can prevent great things from taking place. We have the free will and ability to cast down bitterness so that it doesn’t take over. Gods never going to give us excuses for becoming bitter. He will allow for us to go through all the rough times, and in seeing the things that could make us bitter, we can instead allow for it to point out another way that God is good to us. Share our show with others! We walk what can be a difficult balance as Christians living in a sin-cursed world. We are called to share the good news of the kingdom, but the church instead has turned to acceptance by conforming to the world. The amazing thing to see is this: the Bible says to love your enemy and the world says that to love them, you have to embrace their actions. How is it that we can sharpen our tent pegs and stay on track? Through prayer, studying scripture, faith, and obedience.

Newsflash: Jesus knew that we are going to blow it in life. We’ve already made mistake and we’re going to continue making mistakes in life. But because of the fact that Jesus got up, there is now no condemnation to us. That also works the other way. We can’t condemn others who believe in Jesus Christ. So many times, we’ll try to condemn others when they’ve done something wrong or if we even think they’ve done something wrong. Leave others alone and worry about yourself and your relationship with Jesus. We’re often times expectant of what God is going to do for us. This expectancy isn’t a bad thing, but where we mess up is when we get frustrated since He’s not doing it exactly how we thought He would. The same people who were praising Jesus on Palm Sunday were wanting Him crucified only 5 days later. They were expecting Him to be an earthly king, but His purpose was to be our heavenly king. This was a much better gift, but they simply didn’t like the packaging. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. If we truly have faith in Jesus, we will be willing to see what He has in store, no matter how He goes about fulfilling it!

Get ready for a true statement: FAITH AND DOUBT CANNOT COEXIST. As Christians, we can't have faith and doubt because they are polar opposites that cannot be around if the other is truly present. The dangerous thing about doubt is that it blocks your blessing. The good thing for us is that we can choose to have faith and not doubt. The enemy may try to whisper lies to us and cause us to open the door for doubt, but if we keep our minds focused on the word of God, we can evict doubt from our soul.

Are you extremely busy? Do you feel you can’t get anything accomplished? The enemy is trying to distract you, not because he’s mad at you, but because he’s afraid of you. Make sure that with everything you’re doing, you’re keeping the main thing the main thing. Don’t let yourself get weighed down by a slew of responsibilities because you don’t have the courage to say no. Don’t spend countless hours looking through pointless media content and worrying about what someone is saying. Don’t let yourself ministry become an idol that overthrows your personal worship time with God. Keep yourself in check and go to the Word of God to realign yourself and avoid distractions!

Looking internally, are you a spectator or a player? Jesus didn’t call you to be a spectator, but to be an active player in the kingdom. This doesn’t mean that you should feel ready before taking action. Instead, you should accept what God has called you to do so that He will then equip you for Himself and your calling. Have faith and take action!

Jesus told us that storms are going to come in our life. We have two choices: we can try to push off the inevitable and still face the storm when it's grown larger, or we can charge the storm and throw the enemy into a frenzy. As long as you are confronting that situation in the name of Jesus, you can expect that He will work it out according to His will, which will be for your good and His glory.
