From the dawn of human history, as our ancestors scrabbled in the dirt for sustenance, fashioning crude sonic screwdrivers out of twigs and shells, we have striven to understand our universe and ourselves. Since 1963, we have been lucky enough to have Doctor Who to guide us onto the science fiction path of truth. Once again we highlight and admire the noble truth-seekers, the pure of heart and tongue, the Doctor Who podcasters who light the way in the eternal darkness with only their wit and wisdom to protect them from the Chronovores, the hecklers and the Quarks. We can only pray that we are worthy of their example...

As the Solar flares subside, and communication is once again possible between the CDWAQ lunar fortress and the Quiz Reception Centres on Earth, we invite the intrepid quiz warriors amongst you to participate in the new TARDIS Trivia Tournament. When we appraise the greatest works of human endeavour, such things spring to mind as Plato's Republic, the Epic of Gilgamesh, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's 'Been to the Mountain-top' speech, and, of course, the various podcasts dedicated to cogitation upon the long-running BBC science-fiction adventure series, Doctor Who.Here, we attempt, in our small way, to celebrate and preserve the achievements of the mighty stalwarts who ploughed the furrows, forged the path and harnessed the precious podwaves so that others may follow.Future generations will inevitably hail them as pioneers, visionaries, even heroes.This is our humble tribute to their genius and fortitude.On behalf of those yet to come, we salute you, pod-people!
