Episode 2 Full Interview with Abed Mousli: Adapt, Survive, Thrive

This is the extended version of the Eclectic Radio Play from CKXU 88.3fm. Here you'll find strictly interview material and exclusive content. I'd like to share with you the inspiring life of my dear friend Abed, he came to us all the way from Syria, having endured numerous unimaginable challenges. I think that's what makes him so amazing. Although he's way too humble to take any well-deserved attention and praise, I'd like to dedicate this entire show to the man of the hour. I'd also like to effectively bring light to the many lives out there still living in less than favorable circumstances and urge listeners to take action (even minor steps) to help victims of political (or any other type of) oppression. Listen to his amazing story, and how he's overcome many obstacles to be here in Lethbridge, gracing us with his amazing presence and continuing to impact the community. We talk about our natural ability to adapt to extreme environments when called to do so.  We also talk about his former catering business Jeeran 55.  This is a humble man, deserving so much more praise for his determined efforts to pursue his dreams of attaining higher education, at whatever cost. Ep. 2 Preview: The Life of Abed Mousli Recent business owner, Student, Syrian Refugee and local celebrity

Friday!! I'll be releasing this new Episode of the Eclectic with Abdullah Mousli. We talk about how he was forced to adapt to the stressful environments of war-stricken Syria and how he managed to respond to it all with relentless perseverance which lead him to the University of Lethbridge. Listen to his Inspiring story on The Eclectic!  When I think of celebrities or people that deserve recognition, It's easy to immediately think of people who are overtly recognized and celebrated for their accomplishments. This is a humble man, deserving so much more praise for his determined efforts to pursue his dreams of attaining higher education, at whatever cost. Of the many things he's had to endure such as war, constant fear, and insecurity, lack of basic resources, bombing, rejection, or anything of the sorts, nothing has come close to derailing his efforts in gaining an education. Another commendable part of his journey is his continuing contribution to the community even after finding refuge in southern Alberta, he continues to poor efforts to provide other Syrian families with employment through a catering company that he started WHILE IN SCHOOL!! Inspiring! Don't miss it! Thank you, Abed for sharing your story! Thank you to everyone out there who've contributed to initiatives like WUSC (World University Service of Canada).
