La Bondad de Dios

La naturaleza infinita de Dios significa simplemente que Dios existe aparte de, y no está limitado por el tiempo o el espacio. Infinito significa “sin límites:” Cuando nos referimos a Dios como “infinito,” generalmente nos referimos a Él con términos como omnisciente, omnipotente, omnipresente, etc.

"Porque ésta es la voluntad de Dios: vuestra santificación" (1 Tesalonicenses.4:3). ¿De donde proceden los mandamientos, la instrucción, los ruegos, las exhortaciones dadas por los apóstoles? ¿Quién invistió a los apóstoles con autoridad para dar mandamientos al pueblo de Dios sino Dios mismo y conforme a Su Voluntad? Agradar a Dios es -en una palabra- hacer su voluntad. De ahí que, manejar las Escrituras adecuadamente no es otra cosa que proclamar la voluntad de Dios a su pueblo, suficiente razón para el éxito de un ministro fiel a la Palabra de Dios. (ver 2 Timoteo 4:1-2,5). Pablo, sin lugar a dudas, pasará a los particulares, señalará el pecado con detalles.

A menos que mantengamos los ojos fijos en Cristo y nuestra confianza anclada en la Palabra de Dios, la desesperación por encontrar alivio nos tentará a tomar el asunto en nuestras propias manos. Eso fue lo que hizo Onésimo. Era uno de los millones de esclavos que había en el Imperio romano, y llegó el día en que decidió que ya estaba harto. Pero no solo huyó, sino que también robó a su amo. Aunque Onésimo pensó que estaba trazando su propio curso huyendo a Roma, Dios dirigió su camino hacia el apóstol Pablo, quien lo condujo a Cristo. En su intento por liberarse, Onésimo descubrió la alegría de convertirse en un devoto siervo de Cristo. Ahora Jesús era su Maestro y su Señor, y eso significaba que tenía que corregir su falta y regresar a su amo terrenal. Puesto que los esclavos fugitivos enfrentaban la pena de muerte, Pablo intercedió en su favor con una carta a su amo Filemón, un creyente que, al parecer, él había conducido a la fe.

La madurez espiritual es un proceso que comienza cuando una persona acepta a Jesucristo como su Salvador. Él o ella renace en el Espíritu Santo y escoge vivir "en Cristo." El apóstol Pablo dijo que el crecimiento espiritual es un proceso continuo. "No que lo haya alcanzado ya, ni que ya sea perfecto; sino que prosigo, por ver si logro asir aquello para lo cual fui también asido por Cristo Jesús. Hermanos, yo mismo no pretendo haberlo alcanzado. Pero una cosa hago: Olvidando ciertamente lo que queda atrás, y extendiéndome a lo que está adelante, prosigo a la meta, al premio del supremo llamamiento de Dios en Cristo Jesús". (Filipenses 3:12-14). El mismo apóstol Pablo no lo había alcanzado, aún así continuamente prosiguió a la meta.

Considering how much the devil hates people and how dead set he is on destroying them, it's no wonder we see so much tragedy and disaster in the world. In fact, it's amazing that we don't see more! I asked the Lord about that one time and He told me it takes the realm of darkness a long time to set up major disasters. Take the aviation industry, for example. It's highly regulated and works hard at policing itself because safety is its product. You take a highly regulated system like that and the devil has to work terribly hard to cause disasters. He can't just come roaring in and rip things up any time he wants to. If he could, he'd knock every plane out of the sky tonight. But he can't do it.

Most believers don't even realize that Jesus gave us the key to winning the world,but He did. He prayed about it right before He went to the Cross. He asked the Father to bring us into a place of Oneness with each other and with Him that the world would know that He had been sent from God.

Some people are waiting for life to improve before they change their attitude. But it doesn't work that way. We must first change our attitude and learn to give thanks in the middle of our situation. Thanksgiving enables God to change adverse circumstances. We will see amazing changes in our lives when we consistently keep an attitude of gratitude.

All worry and fear are knocked out when we place our total reliance in Christ.

Fear and anxiety can disrupt our communication with God. We must trust Him in all our trials

We have to trust God and let Him guide us. We have to hand Him our independence and our desire for control. We have to let Him take the reins of our lives in His Hands.

All our daily actions can be carried out by the background of eternity. That perspective sets the tone for our lives. All our daily actions can be carried out with the background of eternity. Every decision, every action, every thought, every attitude is based on our eternal life through Christ. We're engulfed by him and our lives are entwined with him forever.

We spend too much time worrying about obtaining and securing possessions and status according to the standards of this world. God wants us to focus on eternity with Him. He is our Provider and Deliverer.

And we know that all things work together to those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose Roman's 8:28

Faith holds our lives together, just like Duct tape faith is used in many situations. It is our Anchor in the Lord. God is pleased when he sees us have faith in Him when we face difficult moments in our lives. Hold fast to that Faith!

The Creation narrative in the first two chapters of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, clearly indicates that the work of creation was done in six, 24-hour days. Evolution directly contradicts this and denies God’s creative power. Just as Christ performed miracles instantaneously while He was here on earth, so also He did His work of creation instantaneously during Creation week. The Bible says, “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. . . . For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast” (Psalm 33:6, 9). God says, “I have made the earth, and created man on it. I—My hands—stretched out the heavens, and all their host I have commanded” (Isaiah 45:12). One cannot believe these verses and also believe in evolution.

Profanity means swear words. The adjective is 'profane'. Profanities can also be called curse ("cuss") words, dirty words, bad words, foul language, obscenity, obscene language, or expletives. It can be called swearing, although this also has a normal meaning of making a "solemn promise".

Gambling is a sin—specifically casino gambling and gambling which requires no honest labor. The suicide rate amongst gamblers is 150% higher than average. Herbert Jenkins, former president of the International Association of Police Chiefs, said ... "For every dollar received in gambling taxes, government spends ten-dollars fighting problems directly related to legalized gambling--prostitution, embezzlement, bad checks, police corruption, racketeers and mobsters sworn to the gambling community and bring with them other businesses."  Former FBI director, Clarence Kelly, declared that "legalized gambling would not help eliminate corruption; but rather would develop a new class of gamblers who would switch to the illegal games as their addiction grows." Wake up America! It is sinfully covetous to desire to get money without labor. 

“Take heed what you hear” (Mark 4:24): the word “hear” obviously includes what is read, for that which is written or printed is addressed to the ears of our intellect. Few people today realize the urgent need for “taking heed” unto what they read. Just as the natural food which is eaten either helps or hinders the body—so the mental food we receive either benefits or injures the mind, and that, in turn, affects the heart. Just as it is harmful to listen to the rubbish and poison which is being served from the great majority of present-day pulpits—so it is exceedingly injurious to the soul to read most of what is now being published. “Take heed what you hear” and read! But let us seek to be more specific. The only thing which is really worth calling “religion” is the life of God in the soul-commenced, carried on, and consummated solely by the Holy Spirit. Hence, whatever does not bear the impress of the Spirit’s unction, should be rejected by the Christian: for not only can unctionless messages do us no good—but what proceeds not from the Spirit—is of the flesh. Here, then, is the test which God’s children ought to apply unto all they hear, and here is the balance in which they should weigh all that they read. True, there are varying degrees of the Spirit’s unction. As it is in the natural so it is in the spiritual—there will be a varying amount of wetness from the faintest moisture of dew—as compared to the copious shower. As there had to be “salt” in every sacrifice (Lev. 2:13), so every discourse or article proceeding from the Spirit’s aid, is “seasoned with salt” (Colossians 4:6). But O how very much today is devoid of spiritual savor and flavor!

Alcohol’s impact on your body starts from the moment you take your first sip. While an occasional glass of wine with dinner isn’t a cause for concern, the cumulative effects of drinking wine, beer, or spirits can take its toll.

Christians generally like to do Christian things. As there are a lot of Christians in the world, entire industries have sprung up to bring Christians the sort of entertainment they desire. Christian music, Christian movies, Christian books, Christian radio, Christian television, the list goes on and on. Despite the ever growing number of Christian outlets, few Christians relegate themselves solely to Christian entertainment. Most Christians still enjoy listening to secular music and reading secular books. Heavens knows there were a huge number of Christians in the theaters when “The Last Jedi” premiered. Just because something is common or normal, however, does not make it right. Christians may enjoy blockbusters such as “The Avengers” and “Jurassic World,” but is it okay for Christians to be going to see such films? The Bible does not mention smoking * or other means of using tobacco. However, it contains principles showing that God does not approve of unhealthy and unclean habits and thus views smoking as a sin. Respect for life. “God . . . gives to all people life and breath.” (Acts 17:24, 25) Since life is a gift from God, we should not do anything that would shorten our life, such as smoking. Smoking is one of the main causes of preventable death worldwide.

That’s an important prompt in youth athletics — not just for the kids, but perhaps even more so for coaches bent on winning and parents pressing to live vicariously through their children. Against the backdrop of our societal obsession with sports is the craziness that has become youth athletics. Once it was just a game; the goal was a good time. Now it can feel like life or death. It’s becoming increasingly difficult for kids to play simply for enjoyment, rather than feel dominated by the desire to “make it big” or appease their overzealous supporters.
