God has uniquely designed each of us with a role to play, gifts to grow, and a purpose that strengthens the Church. When we learn to serve together in unity, we begin to reflect the fullness of Christ in a powerful way.

Paul challenges believers to abandon their old way of living and fully embrace the transformed life Jesus has given them. As we learn to “put on the new self,” our words, responses, generosity, and forgiveness begin to reflect the inner change God is producing in us.

There are around 25,000 children and teenagers in the Texas foster care system alone, so there is a great need for the Church to STAND up and serve the vulnerable children in our community and around the world. During Stand Sunday, we will discuss how we can stand and Defend the Orphan by praying, giving, and going.

We look at how humility keeps us teachable, gentleness expresses strength with restraint, and patience helps us speak truth with care and timing. This includes the gift of salvation which is offered to all, and each of us must decide how we will respond.
