In this message, Pastor Braden begins a "mini-series" within our Kingdom Living series, which is all about the CHURCH. Here, we explore what JESUS says his Church is and what it is supposed to look like.

So far, we have established that Jesus is the King of a kingdom. It is a spiritual Kingdom that has many implications for life in the here and now. In this message, Pastor Braden teaches about Jesus' Kingdom, and what life is like under Jesus' rule, reign and reality. Spoiler - Jesus' Kingdom is awesome!

This is the first message in our series on "Kingdom Living", where we begin to lay down some foundational Kingdom theology. The bottom line is this - Jesus is King. He's not just a metaphor or a good example. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. He calls us to submit to his Lordship and leadership. All people need to align themselves unto Jesus and submit to his authority. It's the best way to live!

In this message, Sean Bosse brings a word about "the cost of living" - not just in a monetary sense, but with regard to our lives and what it looks like to live them for Jesus.

This is the final message in our series on Why We Believe What We Believe, where Pastor Braden talks about the resurrection. Jesus' resurrection from the dead is the hinging point of the whole Gospel narrative, the reason many skeptics have become believers, and the only means by which we can have true hope in this world. If the resurrection is true - which it is, and there are several compelling reasons why - then it changes everything!

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches through another reason why we believe what we believe as Christians - life transformation. The Bible claims that when a person comes to Jesus, trusts in Jesus, walks with Jesus, surrenders to Jesus, and involves Jesus in their life, things CHANGE. There is real power and real change where Jesus is present - and this gives evidence that the whole thing is true.

The fulfillment of prophecy is another reason why we believe what we believe. Prophecy is the declared will of God - sometimes, it refers to events that haven't happened yet. In fact, about 25% of the Bible's content is about things that hadn't happened yet when it was written. Many Biblical prophecies have come to pass since they were written - in very precise detail, sometimes hundreds of years later. The evidence is overwhelming that this whole Jesus thing might just be true!

This series is about demonstrating that there are compelling reasons to believe in Jesus - while it ultimately comes down to faith, it's not a blind faith! In this message, Pastor Braden explains that the Bible is reliable, and why this is a huge reason why we believe in Jesus.

In this message, Pastor Braden kicks off our series on "Why We Believe What We Believe". It's great if you believe in Jesus - but it's of course important to know WHY. Contrary to what some people think, faith in Jesus doesn't have to be a blind faith at all; there are actually several compelling and encouraging reasons to have confidence in him!

It's good to look back and look forward as Christians. We look back to remember all that God has done in the rearview mirror, but also look forward in anticipation of what's to come. To that end, in this message, we look back on what 2025 brought to our church, as well as what God is asking us to do in 2026. Lord, let your Kingdom come and your will be done!

This message is a precursor to launching into 2 Thessalonians 3:6-15, which is all about work. Here, Pastor Braden lays out a theology of work - what God's design is for work, and why it's important for us to take it seriously!

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches through 2 Thessalonians 2:13-3:4. This text demonstrates that our salvation in Jesus in something that has simultaneously already happened, is currently happening, and hasn't happened yet. Since it is a process and a journey, the word from God here is that we need to stand firm and don't veer off course!

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches through 2 Thessalonians 1:1-10. This text explicitly mentions what will happen to unbelievers at the final judgment, but the main word here is actually one for Christians. The road of following Jesus is sometimes a very difficult one, and it can feel like the pressures and hardships that come along might be enough to crush us. But, God has grace and peace for us, and he will help us under pressure - even to the degree that we're able to flourish in our faith in spite of the troubles of life.

Here, we explore what prophecy is all about, how to grow in it, and how to handle it in a way that is life-giving and healthy.

In this message, Pastor Braden continues to teach through 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22, which is all about living in a way that pleases God. Specifically, we focus here on verses 12-15, which are all about how to treat other Christians in the Church (hint - God cares a lot about this!).

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches from 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 - specifically focusing on verses 16-18 and 22. In this text, God DIRECTLY tells us some aspects of his will for our personal lives. If we want to please him as believers, these are things we need to give ourselves to!

This message is from "Throwback Sunday 2025". In it, Pastor Braden takes us on a look back over the history of our church (which began in 1896), giving a word about how God has been faithful all the way along and where we are aiming for the future!

In this message, Pastor Braden takes us back through 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11. The key verse here is 1 Thessalonians 4:13 - "I do not want you to be uninformed about those who have fallen asleep". To that end, we explore what the Bible says about death and the afterlife. It's pretty black and white!

Remember the context of 1-2 Thessalonians - we are called to live in a way that is pleasing to God while we wait for Jesus' Second Coming. This is not a life of drudgery, but in fact the way we can make the most out of live! In this text, Pastor Braden teaches from 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12, where we are encouraged by four more ways we can live in a way that is honouring and pleasing to God.

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches through 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8. For context, the early part of 1 Thessalonians 4 is all about living in a way that pleases God. To that end, this particular text talks about sexual immorality. God cares deeply about how we operate in this area, so he lays out all kinds of truth for us - so that we can please him and make the most of the lives we've been given.

As believers, we ought to have a mentality of "I want to live in a way that pleases God". And, as Pastor Braden shows in 1 Thessalonians 4:1-3, one way we can do this is by our sanctification (growing in holiness). This is a lifetime of growth and change, with the goal of becoming more like Jesus. How do we grow in our sanctification? By surrendering to God, experiencing heart change from God, and putting in effort with God's help.

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches from 1 Thessalonians 2:1-3:10. This lengthy section of text contains a principle that is central to the Christian walk - discipleship. This text in 1 Thessalonians 2 and 3 shows us a heart for coming alongside other people, and what our role is when it comes to discipling others.

We have covered the first theme found in 1-2 Thessalonians (Jesus' Second Coming), and we now move to covering the second: living in a manner worthy of God. In other words, it matters how we live! In this message, Pastor Braden teaches through 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10. The point is simple: if we're going to live in a manner worthy of God, we need to be a Gospel-centered people.

Building off last week's teaching about the rapture, Pastor Braden teaches here on several other aspects of the end times the Bible tells us are coming - namely, tribulation, Jesus' return, the millennium, the defeat of Satan, final judgment, and the new heavens/new earth.

So far in our series in Thessalonians, we have established that Jesus is coming back. We don't know the day or the hour, but there will be signs that precede his coming. In this message, we begin a bit of a "detour" to discuss the end times further - specifically, the rapture. What is it? Is it Biblical? If so, who is it for and when will it happen?

In this message, Pastor Braden dives into a centuries-old question: when is Jesus coming back? The short answer is that nobody knows. The longer answer is that, while we don't know the day or the hour, there will be several signs that his coming is near. We explore 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, chunks of Matthew 24, and other scriptures to dig deep into this matter!

This is the first message in our series in the books of 1 and 2 Thessalonians. These books revolve around two main themes: 1) The second coming of Jesus, and 2) Living in a manner worthy of the Gospel while we wait for Jesus' return. Here, Pastor Braden teaches from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10. Jesus is coming back, and we need to be ready for his return!
