If you think about it, He knows all anyway. Nothing is hidden from Him.This is going to be a lesson for Jonah. Things do not turn around to the good for him until he begins to be honest about his sin. Perhaps this is a lesson for all people. The protection against the storm is not an umbrella but honesty.
