Mindful Minute January 18th "Sit in the Suck"
On this episode of the Mindful Minute we talk about the daily grind of being an entrepreneur can be tedious and frustrating. It is easy to forget that these feelings are completely normal and experienced by every business owner. The work is relentless, especially in the early days when there is so much to do and not enough time or resources to do it all. There's a lot of uncertainty, too – with limited guidance or support, entrepreneurs are often left guessing what they should do next and how they should approach difficult decisions. When faced with these difficulties, it is important for entrepreneurs to accept that feeling overwhelmed and frustrated is part of the process. It's okay if things don't go as planned; mistakes happen and successes take time. Focusing on progress rather than perfection can help alleviate some of the stress associated with running a business and make the journey more enjoyable. It's also helpful for entrepreneurs to recognize that their struggles are shared by others in the same situation. Business coaches, mentors, networking communities, and other resources can provide invaluable guidance from those who have gone through it before – and who know that no successful entrepreneur has achieved success without experiencing failure along the way. By connecting with like-minded people, entrepreneurs can learn from each other’s experiences while developing a sense of camaraderie during their individual journeys. Finally, taking breaks can be essential in keeping one's sanity during the entrepreneurial grind. Scheduling regular downtime will rejuvenate both mind and body while also allowing time for creative problem solving which may lead to new opportunities or solutions that weren't previously considered before taking a break. Allowing yourself time away from your work also helps you cultivate perspective - when things get overwhelming it’s easy to forget just how far you’ve come since starting your venture - something remembering could help keep you motivated during tough times ahead. The road to success as an entrepreneur isn't always going to be easy - but knowing that even the most successful companies have had their share of struggles can help provide comfort in knowing you're not alone in this experience

12 January Mindful Minute" Block Out the Noise"
On this episode of the Mindful Minute, the theme is "block out the noise." The host explains that in today's world, we are constantly bombarded by texts, social media updates, emails, phone calls, and more, making it difficult to hear ourselves think. The host shares a quote from one of their favorite poets, Roomy, who says "The art of knowing is knowing what to ignore." The host encourages listeners to remember that they need to fight for their own attention, just as much as others are fighting for it. This means creating moments of quiet and peace, even if that means physically running into a closet. The goal is to block out distractions and negative influences, and to focus on what truly serves us, makes us feel good, productive, happy, and joyful. The host encourages listeners to try creating a moment of silence for themselves and see how it helps

January 11th Mindful minute Change Your words, Change Your Life
Welcome to the January 11th episode of the "Mindful Minute" podcast.Today's episode is entitled "Change Your Words, Change Your Life."In this episode, we discuss how the language we use can influence the way we see the world, and how it is important to be mindful of the words we use when describing the tasks that we have to do, especially when they are related to our goals. We also talk about how being aware of the language we use can help us to change our perspective on the work we do. For example, instead of saying "I have to do X", we can say "I get to do X" as a reminder that we have a choice in the work we do and that it's a privilege. We also encourage listeners to remember that the work they do is something they chose, and even if it doesn't always bring them joy, it is a part of the everyday work that is required to achieve their goals. We remind listeners, especially the business owners, to be cognizant of the language that they use as it could reflect the level of appreciation they have for the work they are doing. We also acknowledge that this advice applies not only to business owners but to everyone else as well. So, as you go about your day-to-day tasks, try using the phrase "I get to" instead of "I have to" and see how it changes your perspective on the work you do and the opportunities it presents. Remember, when you change your words, you truly do change the way you see yourself, your work, and the world at large.Thank you for listening to this episode of the "Mindful Minute" podcast. Join us next time as we continue to explore ways to live a more mindful and meaningful life.

January 7th Mindful Minute _Stop Waiting_
Welcome to January 7th, and this is your mindful minute. Today, we're discussing a topic that affects us all: waiting. We've all been guilty of it at some point - waiting for the perfect conditions, the perfect moment, the perfect opportunity. But as I've learned, waiting can be a grave mistake. I know this firsthand, because I waited for years to start my own YouTube channel and podcast. I waited for the perfect camera, the perfect laptop, the perfect level of skill. But here's the thing: perfection doesn't exist. And the longer we wait, the more we miss out on valuable opportunities. So I'm here to tell you, don't wait. Don't disrespect the timing of life and assume that you have tomorrow. Take action now, even if it's not perfect. Fail frequently, and learn from your mistakes. Don't be afraid of being seen trying. In fact, be proud of it. So let's stop waiting and start doing

January 4th Mindful Minute "Open Your Mouth"
Today's mindful minute is all about opening up and receiving the support you need. Many entrepreneurs are busy, overwhelmed, and feel like they don't get enough support. But it's important to remember that there are different ways of showing love – as outlined in the book The Five Love Languages – so we should also consider that people may show their support for us differently too! We can make a mistake of expecting our friends or family to give us certain forms of help when really they might be offering something else entirely. For example, maybe you think your loved ones should buy your products but instead they offer marketing assistance? It’s important not to discount this form of kindness; it could be just what you need! So take some time today and open yourself up to accepting any kind words or gestures from those around you - even if it doesn't look exactly like what YOU expected - because ultimately every bit helps in achieving success on this entrepreneurial journey!
