Almost the full squad is back, we are missing Matthew as he is on a mission trip to Columbia. The episode delves into Luke Chapter 4. We talk about Easter plans and how amazing Holy Week is. Prophets are not welcome in their home town and we see that in the scripture that we are reading. This coincides with what has happened during Holy Week. It is not only Jesus's home town that rejects Him, but the whole world through our sinful nature.

In this episode we dive into the genealogy of Jesus and news/prayers for people around the world. We talk about the differences between Matthew and Luke's genealogies and how the differences can highlight the amazing history of the Israelites.

We rewind and talk more about the baptism of Jesus (Luke 31-22), John preparing the way, and how we can be stewards to all that God has blessed us with. It was common practice for kings to send messengers ahead of them to let the people know that their king was coming.John the Baptist did just this, he prepared the way for Christ."...The voice of one crying in the wilderness PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD..." Luke 3:4.

The conversation delves into outreach through service and how countries are turning away from God. Mario shares his beautiful testimony. While not everything can be covered in this hour episode, we get to see Mario's conversion. Many of us may be raised christian, but do not fully understand what it may mean or fully believe until later in life. We all felt like we are called to be disciple makers and this podcast is our way of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Today we go over our testimonies and how we came to faith. Each of our stories is unique and can hopefully be relatable. In future episodes we will be starting off with a deep dive into the Gospel of Luke.
