You are GIFTED. Last week, we talked about WHO gifted you.This week, we’ll find out WHY, as we work to answer the most existential question of all… “WHO AM I?” The answer might surprise you. 

When you hear the phrase "You Are Gifted", the immediate instinct is to rush to the gift.As we embark upon this new series, we're starting with the giver. 1 Corinthians 12:1-7 tells us a lot about His character, nature and intentionality. Here's the secret, though: Your Gift Is Not For You... It's for the rest of us. Lean in, because... You Are Gifted!

What do most of the leaders in the New Testament have in common?What do they have in common with us?What does this universal commonality tell us about how God sees us?What if what makes you unusual is a strength and not a weakness?

You can't separate the word "Evangelical" from the word "Christian".Evangelical is simply who we are.Culture has a distasteful view on that word - so how do we REVERSE IT?

Following Jesus means more than believing like Him—it means engaging people like He did. This morning we discovered that one of the most powerful ways to share the Gospel is by creating radical curiosity and inviting others to encounter God through the transformation they see in us. May our lives become the kind of evidence that makes people long to know Him.

The Great Commission is more Expectation than Invitation.Here's a question worth pondering:What happens when Christians STOP living up to Jesus' Expectation?What happens when the Great Commission becomes The Great OMISSION?

What if we've been reading Matthew 28:16-20 all wrong?What if we've been hearing it as an invitation, when it's really not?Every relationship navigates a certain set of expectations...What if "The Great Commission" is really Jesus' "Great Expectation"?

Maybe the most dangerous, audacious question we could ask in regards to prayer is this: "What can we expect to happen when we pray?" Another way to say this: "What is the PRODUCT of PRAYER?" Pastor Fike is going to walk us down the narrow road of a healthy prayer life, and point out the ditches along the way.

One of the strangest “turns” in all of scripture happens in Ephesians 6.  In a move that is so incredibly counter-intuitive, the Apostle Paul tells us that we are in a fight that no Christian can claim exemption from, and this fight is for the souls of mankind, so we’d better suit up and get spiritually prepared for the fight; but, what he prescribes after all of that is not what any War General would ever suggest.  This strange turn tells us everything we need to know about the POWER of PRAYER. 

Sometimes, Prayer can feel like something "Professional Christians" know how to do, and "Regular People" honestly shouldn't even try. But, Jesus put prayer in the hands of the Regular People - so all of us regular people need to make the decision to pursue the Supernatural Process of Prayer. The question is: "How?" And, John Wilson's going to help us with a very simple, very repeatable answer to that very important Question!

But, since God's the one who invented it, shouldn't we ask the question: "What's God's Purpose For Marriage?" That's exactly what we did in this message from our URGENT CARE series.

In Week One of the URGENT CARE series, Pastor Fike presented the Biblical Reality that everything Jesus did was all in an effort to reunite His Father with His Father's Children. Mission Accomplished... but, the question that looms for us, (if, in fact, Christianity is NOT a Religion, but a Relationship), is... HOW? This week, we'll delve into that question.

There is a common sentiment about the Easter Story - a group-think diagnosis of what took place that blessed morning. But, as in the case of Urgent Care Professionals, very often, the initial diagnosis only really attends to the loudest symptoms. What if Easter is about more just a risen Savior? What if the very thing Jesus accomplished that day is what He spent His life proclaiming? Could it be that Resurrection Sunday is not about the formation of a new religion… but, rather, something much more URGENT?

This whole series is elevating our thoughts to a different and higher level. It's demanding of us that we dileneate the difference between the culture of our world and the Kingdom we now belong to as Christians. Sometimes, certain passages of scripture can lead to Kanye-levels of exasperation. This is one of those passages. The Apostle Peter, in an attempt to galvanize and encourage the displaced, dispersed, disheartened “Resident Aliens” spread across the diaspora reminds them that they are to “be holy”. Like… what? How? Maybe “holiness” isn’t what we think it is…

Any Cultural Anthropologist would most certainly pay attention to the parts of culture that bring joy, elation, warmth and cheer. But, you can't evaluate a people-group without leaning in to the "sore subject" of PAIN. Pain's a part of human life BEFORE Jesus... but what about after? Why should pain persist as a part of Christian Life? What is the Purpose of Pain?

Towards the end of Jacob's life, he gathered his 12 sons around him to speak words to them... words of blessing... words of prophecy... words of promise. Much of what he had to say was beautiful, meaningful, and touching. But, some of it was stinging, harsh, and hard-to-hear. We'll isolate 4 of these 12 sons and discern WHY Jacob said what he said, and HOW the words Jacob spoke then STILL APPLY TO US TODAY...

4 Words out of Joseph's mouth tell us a lot about the lessons he's learned in the 20 years since he's been connected with his family. And, those 4 words can have a HUGE effect on the way that YOU step into your assignment each and every day moving forward... As we embark upon the beginning of YEAR 3 at TMC, Acts 17 offers up 3 Mission-Critical Questions... and this OUTDOOR SERVICE offered up 2 VERY INTERESTING guests.

That journey was filled with high highs and treacherous lows. But, every step of the way, the Bible makes a very clear, very intentional point: “God was WITH Joseph” What can we learn from that revelation? Why does Your Bible want you to pay attention to that reality? GENESIS 39...

Humans tend to do a bad job of encouraging dreamers. We are much better suited towards the proven path than road less traveled. But, the God of the Bible is pretty keen on dreams and visions. He tends to cast vision into the hearts of leaders that send them into the unknown. Joseph was a dreamer… but, did he handle God’s dreams with appropriate care?
