Why we need Islam now more than ever

These are truly trying times - everyday, were are discovering more and more about the way our modern world is built upon corruption. It can be easy to fall into a state of despondency and spiritual depletion, but now more than ever, our soul is in need of Allah's Divine Mercy. There is a lot about the world that makes very little sense right now, particularly how morally depraved, wicked leaders are in power, as we are living in an age of filth and degeneracy. What we're witnessing right now is everything that Islam warns us about and turns us from. So who do we turn to? To the One who is The Most Pure, The Most Sacred, Al-Quddus. In an impure world, choose purity, choose the sanctity that comes with faith, choose the sanctuary that is your relationship with Allah that is everlasting, should you choose to nurture it.

    Until you visit the graves

Episode 2 is a heavy one because we don’t play around here on The Next Life! Today, I delve into the meaning of Chapter 102 of the Holy Quran, Surah At-Takathur, which means "Vying for worldly increase." This episode covers invaluable themes that I believe we all need to be reminded of every single day:Waking up from the delusion of this worldly life, how to direct our focus on what truly matters, how this life tries to consume us, how death is a wake up call, the real reason why Allah mentions hell in the Quran (scary, I know, but a very necessary conversation) I also break down how to transform our daily tasks and routines into acts of worship through correcting our intentions. I explore Allah’s all-encompassing and enveloping Mercy, and why developing an ongoing relationship with the Quran is truly transformative. I close off the episode with my personal reflections on the blessing of life itself, on how each breath we take is a chance to correct our states, to open ourselves to the Love and Mercy of Allah, and allow it to embrace and transform us. Coming back to Allah has always been about love and can only be done through love. Allah loves us and wants us to be in heaven with Him, Insha Allah.

    Welcome to The Next Life

Salam and welcome to Episode 1 of The Next Life! This has been in the pipeline for a while and I've finally mustered up the courage to share it!This episode is really just an intro to what my podcast is all about, the kind of themes and topics I'll be exploring, and how I hope to benefit my listeners (if anyone even wants to listen that is lol).In this episode, I touch on the temporary and transcient nature of this dunya (life), and how crucial it is that we make the most of this life in preparation for the next. In reality, this life is NOTHING compared to the next life (hehe), and this should serve as a guide for where our focus and priorities should lie.So, as I mention in this episode, it's time to lock in , get real with ourselves and remember why we're here in the first place. It's about to get deep on this podcast, but don't worry, I love a good giggle so I can assure you you'll be entertained too (I hope).
