I have endeavored to research the Book of James to determine some of the history of the book, the issues the early church had with the book, and the conflict between Paul and James concerning justification (faith and works). I am working on the research, and research takes time. This will be at least five episodes, maybe more. So, the remainder of this year will be mostly about the book of James, but, I can assure you it will be an interesting ride.

Sacrifice is usually not something we enjoy. We sacrifice time with family to work and make money. What do you think of when you hear the word “Crusades?” Do you think of knights with big red crosses across their chests or the senseless killing in the name of the Cross of Christ? Just because we might think we are autonomous persons doesn’t mean God won’t intervene in our lives and use us for His purpose.
