We explore the unique challenges that Black women face in accessing mental health care and developing strategies to support their mental health. We also talk about cultural factors that affect the mental health of Black women during pregnancy and postpartum and how to ensure that mental health services are culturally sensitive and responsive to the needs of Black women.
