The Phoney Mixes
by DJ Phoney
My mixes have a pretty broad variety of possible styles. I can do a pure Reggae/Dub-mix as well as Funk or guitar-stuff and electro. Often I like to work beyond borders and combine things.Sometimes those mixes may feature some of my own original material as well.I like a lot of stuff that is definitely not mainstream and tunes that may be too moody for a lot of deejays. All in all I'd say life - with all it's ups and downs - can be reflected in music and a mix so I don't see why I should just pick out a tiny section of all that when there's so much more to express. In other words: I'm not kneeling down to the dictatorship of the dancefloor or any scene.
