The PT Podcast

We started talking about offenses, and it translated into a deep conversation about hot topics of today's Christian Music and our reactions to it. It turned out to be an incredibly deep conversation about healing and letting go of offenses. 

In this Podcast, PT tackles the subject of offense, consumerism, and walking away when God is trying to do something. It also deals with how petty things keep us from powerful things. To every 1 verse there is in the Bible speaking about homosexuality there are hundreds more dealing with Christians attitudes. What is the disconnect between Homosexuals, LGBTQ+ and Christianity? Why is it so hard for these two groups of people to get along? Is there an answer to the disparity that lies between them? Today we tackle a highly charged and super emotional topic of 9/11/01. A day that those of us of the podcast remember with somber and sober thoughts. How did that date change us? What happened after? These things we speak about on this podcast as well as delving into the topic of Christian Nationalism. Is Christian Nationalism something that is Godly? When does political agendas and political war result in Political Idolatry? This is a very poignant podcast, filled with memories, opinions, and emotion.  The Song of the Day is by Alan Jackson. It's easy, in the world we live in, to scrutinize and criticize everything to death. Philippians 4 gives us a guideline on what we should look for in our world to set our minds on. The statistics are staggering. Commitment in marriage is not as important as it used to be. Still the question remains, What is adultery? What does it look like? What are the warning signs? What can we do to protect our relationships from the hurt of infidelity?  All of these topics we will discuss on the PT podcast Season 2 Episode 5. Do the boundaries change depending on the context?  This podcast is a hot one, and contains mature subject matter. We need to have more conversations with each other about healthy sex. In today's world, the word "love" is thrown around. A lot of our definitions come from culture's contextual representation of what they think it is. Oftentimes its based on very flakey and surface emotions, and not foundational and strong decisions. In this weeks podcast, we discuss love and what it actually is BIBLICALLY instead of what our culture says it is.
