The RELEVANT Podcast - Episode 1305: Andy Mineo & Wordsplayed on Magic and Bird 2, How CHH Has Changed and Derek’s Net Worth

Andy Mineo and Wordsplayed are back as Magic and Bird, and tell us all about the sequel to their 2017 cult classic album. We also get into the state of Christian hip-hop, why nobody is vetted anymore, and spend a genuinely uncomfortable amount of time guessing Derek Minor's net worth to his face.In RELEVANT Buzz, the SBC voted to ban women from the pulpit and it wasn't close. Victory Boyd forgave Travis Scott and ended up in the studio with him. And Pharrell started his Christian rap era with a Voices of Fire song called "The One."In Slices, someone claimed a religious exemption from using AI at work, and Derek has decided it might be the greatest finesse in history. We also stop to mark World Refugee Day with an eye-opening conversation from the frontlines of Sudan about the world’s largest humanitarian crisis happening there. Then One Has to Go closes it out: a suspiciously cheap dollar slice, Rambo in 2026, and the case against Shaq.Highlights:00:00 — Intro / Derek’s frustrating tech updates 10:42 — RELEVANT Buzz: Victory Boyd & Travis Scott go from lawsuit to collaborating14:08 — The SBC votes to ban women in the pulpit 17:23 — Pharrell's "The One" with Voices of Fire 20:38 — World Refugee Day: the crisis in Sudan with World Vision’s Grace Mavhezha 25:13 — Slices: A religious exemption to not use AI at work? 29:36 — RELEVANT Conversation: Andy Mineo & Wordsplayed on Magic and Bird 2 36:24 — The state of Christian hip-hop 40:16 — Putting Derek Minor's net worth on blast 51:51 — The five-week album rollout and why nothing breaks through anymore 56:24 — One Has to Go1:07:40 — OutroAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Timothy Keller Sermons Podcast by Gospel in Life - Running From God

Words like sin, sinner, heathen and heretic have been used for centuries to exclude and oppress people. That’s one reason we need the book of Jonah.  Jonah gives a concept of sin that can’t be used to oppress people. In fact, it shows that it’s one thing to believe in sin and another thing to understand it in your own heart. Jonah was a prophet, but there was a kind of sin in his heart that flew under his radar—until it blew up.  Let’s look at four features in the narrative that each tell us something about sin: 1) the coming word, 2) the running man, 3) the deathly sleep, and 4) the stormy hope. This sermon was preached by Dr. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on September 9, 2001. Series: The Church in the City. Scripture: Jonah 1:1-10. Timothy Keller Sermons Podcast by Gospel in Life - Confident in Prayer

God sent Jesus into the world to say the things he said and do the things he did — and it got him killed. Now Jesus is sending us into the world, and we should probably expect at least a hard time. In John 14, Jesus gives us gifts for the journey, gifts that will equip us for the difficult work of being his representatives. One of those great gifts is prayer. And if anybody is saying, “Oh, yeah, I know. What else?” then you don’t know. I don’t think any of us really know. Prayer is a mighty gift, and in a sense, everything we need to know about prayer is locked in one verse. We’re going to look at 1) the power of prayer, 2) the conditions for prayer, 3) the purpose of prayer, and 4) the foundation of prayer. This sermon was preached by Dr. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on January 29, 2017. Series: Jesus, Mission, and Glory: New Confidence. Scripture: John 14:12-15. Hey! It's The Luskos - Ep 235: Abbie + Gabriel Gamboa: when God says "go"

Abbie and Gabriel Gamboa join Levi and Jennie for a hilariously honest, deeply encouraging conversation about marriage, calling, and the messy middle between “God said” and “okay… now what?” From conspiracy-theory dabbling to the sacred art of naming what’s real (in dating, in ministry, in life), this episode is full of both belly laughs and quiet conviction. You’ll hear how their friendship turned into a seven-year marriage, the wild backstory of getting pulled into music as kids, and the gritty season where they were juggling jobs, babies, and payday loans—until they finally took the leap into full-time ministry and music. Plus: a movie-level travel nightmare involving visas, a Colombian passport, and the terrifying possibility of being homeless and stinky in Paris. Connect with us on social! What Else? with Corey Mann - Episode 298 Mary Clair

Mary-Clair bursts onto the scene with Enough, her luminous debut album on Vere Music. Produced by 2x GRAMMY® winner Tedd T (Dolly Parton, for KING & COUNTRY, MercyMe), the project showcases the 21-year-old Nashville native’s irresistible vocals, bold creativity, and heartfelt conviction. From the emotional pull of “Heaven In The Way” to the energetic pop of “Enough” and “Homesick,” and the worshipful moments of “Your Love” and “There’s a God,” Mary-Clair blends intimate storytelling with bright, memorable hooks. Enough proves her belief that pop and Christian music can thrive together—and she’s building a beautiful bridge between both worlds.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/what-else-with-corey-mann--5802358/support.
