On our nations independence day, we celebrate not only our freedom as a nation but our freedom as Christians and our call to take that freedom to the world.

You have to have a mindset to receive the Word and combine it with faith for it to make a difference in your life.

As we've been talking about living a life with vision and the restraints that we put on ourselves to fulfill that vision... We now talk about the thirst that this brings in your life.

Learning who we are gives us the focus we need to pursue Christ. It gives us the vision that we need to put restraints on ourselves to run the race we've been called. And once we've run... We cann watch the enemy run.

8/7/16 Healing is in God's nature. Healing is our inheritance, and it's something we're meant not only to have but to share. Healing was even a part of the Old Covenant. The curse has been removed but the blessing remains. Jesus was always healing people, but when He left, He didn't take that with Him. He past the baton on to YOU!

10/2/16 Amos 9:11, the Tabernacle of David. This is the only mention in the Old Testament of David's Tabernacle being rebuilt, which is us. In the Old Testament there were three places for worship, first the Tabernacle of Moses, the Tabernacle of David, and Solomon's Temple. David's Tabernacle was very different than the other two and very significant for us.

9/25/16 Continuing our journey through the 66 Books of the Bible, we now enter a section known as the Twelve Minor Prophets, beginning with Hosea. Only called "minor" because they were not as well known as the majors, these men of God made some very profound declarations!

The message today explains how to do this. When you speak to God this way, you can know your prayer has the "Green Light" right to the throne!

1/4/17 In our current bible study, we are in the book of Galatians. Dr John expounds on Chapter 3 this week, and the warnings it gives us about straying from the gospel of truth. Paul, while absent from the Galatians, has heard that they are accepting changes to the gospel that he had preached to them, and gives them strong warning not to be bewitched by others.

1/8/17 Pastor Ann Hollar explains how the Protestant Faith was brought into being through a man named Martin Luther back in 1517, when he protested against the false teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. He ended up a martyr, but if not for his efforts we would not have the religious freedom we do today.

Sitting around the fire with Jesus, Peter must have been thinking of the three times that he had denied Jesus as Jesus repeatedly asked Him, "Do yo love me?" But Jesus never brought up His failure. He turned around Peter's failure and turned it into a calling.

3/12/17 God accounted Abram's faith as Righteousness. That means God believes that faith IS Righteousness. When Abraham believed God, He WAS righteous. We receive righteousness the same way Abraham did.
