She ran in the special election, won with 65% of the vote, and became Louisiana’s first Republican woman ever elected to Congress. In Washington, she has delivered results: she authored the Parents Bill of Rights to put moms and dads back in charge of their kids’ education, fought for the Farm Bill to protect our farmers and rural communities, returned critical funding to Louisiana’s 5th District, and earned a powerful seat on the House Appropriations Committee. Today we’re exposing raw Biden DOJ weaponization of gun laws against law-abiding Americans. Fifty years ago last week, the world watched in horror as the last American helicopter lifted from the rooftop of our embassy in Saigon. South Vietnam had fallen. Folks, the worst wars aren’t fought on distant battlefields overseas. The worst wars are the ones that pit brother against brother right here at home. You just saw it with your own eyes — another horrifying attempt to assassinate the President of the United States at the White House Correspondents Association dinner. This isn’t random violence. This is the poisonous fruit of years of radicalism, divisive Democrat rhetoric, and activist teachers in our schools pushing extreme ideologies on our kids. We’re tearing ourselves apart while real enemies watch and wait. Lawfare is an aggressive use of the justice system to suppress information, intimidate citizens, and interfere with legitimate public processes such as an election. The United States government is practicing it on steroids as we see the Department of Justice continuously go after Donald Trump in the middle of his presidential campaign, It is so blatant that the Special Prosecutor is openly trying to align trial dates with major primary dates. Not surprising, many of these so-called attorneys don’t even know the constitution they say they are defending. Doj isn’t working alone though, the Department of Homeland Security is actually practicing a form of lawfare against every American citizen by its abuse of immigration laws on the books to bring in millions of illegal aliens, destroying America’s shared cultural values and burdening government assistance systems while not getting enough benefits to Americans in a timely manner, such as homeless veterans. With these letters hitting former service members who were kicked out of the military hitting inboxes, they’re sounding off about them and it is not good. The US military is in big trouble because American military leadership has lost all of its moral courage and betrayed its oath to support and defend the US Constitution. While we’re on this path we face big national security challenges and much of them are our own doing. We’re hearing rumors of a long sought after US-lead peacekeeping force in Gaza and the confusion caused by US soldiers holding Communist Chinese Flags welcoming President Xi to San Francisco just to name a few. We are hearing a lot about intelligence failures today because of the thinking about why the Hamas terrorists were able to pull off their war crimes on October 7th. It is important we all understand what these are all about because, right or wrong, they have and will continue to have an impact on whether US domestic and international policy is both correct and or effective. Leading examples are the focus of US and allied intelligence resources on areas of the world that can lead us all to take our eye off the ball in other, more important areas, and then there is the use of scarce domestic intelligence resources to focus on Americans like those that protested on January 6th 2021 to the exclusion of the influx of illegal alien groups such as the unusual numbers of Chinese military aged males that have made it through the US Southern border.
