Parables: The Fishing Net
What if you heard the Easter story straight from one of Jesus' own disciples? In this vivid first-person message, Pastor Dave steps into Nathaniel's shoes, taking us from the fig tree to the empty tomb, through the parables of Matthew 13, and all the way to the upper room where the risen Christ walked through locked doors and said "Peace be with you." If you've ever wrestled with doubt or needed a fresh reminder that the tomb is empty, this message is for you.

Peace Be With You
Pastor Dave weaves Luke 24 into a vivid three-panel tapestry of the resurrection: the women at the empty tomb, the road to Emmaus, and Jesus suddenly appearing among the fearful disciples in the upper room—where they mistake Him for a ghost amid their trouble and doubt. In this engaging Easter message, he reminds us that Jesus steps right into our blackouts of fear, doubt, and shattered hopes with His first words—“Peace be with you”—then shows His scars, eats fish to prove He’s real, opens minds to the Scriptures, and commissions us as witnesses clothed with power from on high. Through stories like the 1965 Northeast blackout and a miraculous “Paid in Full” tax bill, it powerfully shows how the risen Christ turns our darkness into light, infuses us with unshakeable resurrection hope, and calls us to live as bold witnesses. You’ll walk away with hearts strangely warmed and ready to say, “He is risen indeed!”—don’t miss this encouraging word from Pastor Dave at The Seed Christian Fellowship.

He dropped fresh insight on how the stories hint at the Trinity itself, warned against bitter older-brother attitudes, and left a challenge for everyone to crave deeper connection through daily prayer, listening, and Scripture—so no one stays lost in the Father’s relentless embrace.

Remembering God's Faithfulness
This sermon, part of a "Hope Revealed" series, teaches that in times of suffering, discouragement, or lost margin in life—like the despair in ruined Jerusalem—we find a remembering hope by calling to mind God's great steadfast love (hesed), unfailing compassions that are new every morning, and great faithfulness (Lamentations 3:21-23), inspiring us to wait on the Lord, as celebrated in the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness," and exemplified in the hopeful "Hosanna" cries on Palm Sunday when Jesus entered as the Lamb of God.

Seed of Faith: Glorious Hope
In this sermon titled around "glorious hope," Pastor Dave explores how Moses' radiant face after meeting God was veiled, contrasting the fading glory of the old covenant law with the surpassing, permanent glory of the new covenant through Christ and the Holy Spirit. Drawing from Exodus 34 and 2 Corinthians 3, he emphasizes that believers with unveiled faces can reflect God's glory, experience freedom, and be transformed into Christ's likeness by looking up to God rather than down at circumstances or distractions like devices—illustrated through stories of resilient hope, personal examples of joy, and the call to live boldly connected to Jesus, resulting in confident expectation and ever-increasing glory.

Joy in Chains
In this sermon on Philippians chapter 1, Pastor Fred highlights Paul's profound joy despite being chained to a Roman guard in prison, awaiting possible execution—joy not from circumstances but from contentment in Christ and the assurance that believers are saints in God's eyes through faith in Jesus' finished work on the cross. Paul addresses the Philippian church (including overseers and deacons) with thanksgiving, praying joyfully for their partnership in the gospel, and expresses unwavering confidence that "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6)—a promise of God's faithful sanctification and perseverance through trials. The message encourages clinging to Jesus amid life's hardships, finding true joy in eternal hope rather than temporal things, recognizing God's grace in fellow believers as miracles, and trusting that salvation is by grace alone, leading to an ultimate, pain-free eternity where we reunite with loved ones in Christ. 🌿✝️

Seed of Faith: Persevering Hope
In this inspiring message from Pastor Dave at Seed Christian Fellowship's radio ministry, dive into Romans 5:1-11 and discover the power of persevering hope. Through justification by faith, we gain peace with God, constant access to His grace, and joyful rejoicing—even in suffering—because suffering produces perseverance, perseverance builds proven character, and character fuels an unshakable hope that never disappoints. Anchored in Christ's sacrificial death for sinners and the Holy Spirit's outpouring of God's love, this hope isn't dependent on changing circumstances but on a transformed perspective. Drawing from biblical heroes, historical turnarounds like Vince Lombardi's Packers, and personal stories of endurance through illness and loss, Pastor Dave challenges listeners to reflect: How has your suffering already produced perseverance, character, and hope? Stand firm in grace, embrace the process, and let hope anchor your soul.

Parables: Weeds & Wheat
In this sermon on the Parable of the Wheat and Weeds from Matthew 13, Pastor Dave reminds us that Jesus, the Son of Man, sows beautiful, good seeds—representing His followers and the sons of the kingdom—throughout the world. But while people sleep, the enemy sneaks in and plants poisonous weeds that look similar at first but ultimately produce harm, sin, and death, representing the sons of the evil one. Rather than uproot the weeds prematurely and risk damaging the wheat, the owner instructs to let both grow together until harvest time—at the end of the age—when angels will separate them: the weeds burned in fire with weeping and gnashing of teeth, while the righteous shine like the sun in God's kingdom. The message challenges us: What seeds are we sowing in our lives—good ones that bear fruit for God's kingdom, or weeds that lead to destruction? In a world full of imitations (like "good without God" humanism or fake faith), we must spend time with the real Jesus, plant authentic seeds of love and righteousness, and let our fruit shine so others know we are His. The call is clear: Trust in God who never fails, plant good seed daily, and live as the real deal—because we'll be known by our fruit! 🌾✝️ #KingdomLiving #ParableOfTheWeeds #PlantGoodSeeds

Seed of Faith: Standing On Tiptoes
What does it mean to be saved in hope? In this powerful message, Pastor Dave takes us on a journey through Romans 8, exploring one of the most beloved chapters in the Bible.Just as Jesus walked over 1,440 miles between Galilee and Jerusalem during his lifetime, we too are on a journey—waiting, hoping, and sometimes groaning as we travel the road God has called us to walk.In Romans 8:18-27, Paul uses the image of groaning three times: creation groans, we groan, and even the Holy Spirit groans. But this groaning isn't hopeless—it's like the groaning of childbirth, filled with expectation and the promise of new life.Key Truths:There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1)Nothing can separate us from God's love (Romans 8:38-39)We are saved in hope—standing on our tiptoes, looking expectantly to the futureThrough the moving story of Ruth Graham's return home after two failed marriages and her father Billy Graham's welcoming embrace, we discover what God is truly like: a Father waiting with open arms to say "Welcome home."The Challenge: What are you standing on your tiptoes to see? Hope that is seen is no hope at all. True hope is waiting patiently for what we do not yet have—with joyful expectation.

Seed of Faith: A Door of Hope
In this episode of Seed of Faith from the Seed Christian Fellowship, Pastor Dave explores the theme of a living hope in a new sermon series on hope. Drawing from Psalm 71, Hosea 2:14-17, and 1 Peter 1:1-9, he shows how God transforms the "Valley of Achor"—a place of trouble and despair—into a door of hope through His mercy and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This living hope is not mere wishful thinking but a confident, dynamic expectation rooted in Christ's victory over death, offering believers an imperishable inheritance and joy amid trials. Pastor Dave illustrates this with powerful stories, including Billy Graham's unwavering hope in heaven, a burned boy's renewed will to live, personal family redemption, and the transformative "brownie of hope" given to Little Annie (Anne Sullivan). Listeners are encouraged to look expectantly toward Christ, hang the "red cord" of hope for others, and remember that if God raised Jesus from the dead, nothing is impossible for Him. Join us to discover how this living hope sustains us in troubling times and points us to eternal glory.

Seed of Faith: Living Hope Restored
In this sermon from Pastor Dave at Seed Christian Fellowship, he launches a series on hope leading toward Lent and Easter, emphasizing hope as a vital companion to faith and love (1 Corinthians 13:13) and a confident expectation in God’s promises rather than mere wishful thinking. He contrasts the widespread discouragement in the world—quoting Howard Hendricks on it as Satan’s “anesthetic” that enables deeper spiritual damage—with biblical hope as the foundation of faith (Hebrews 11:1). Sharing a personal low point in 1998 when pastoring a conflicted Missouri church scarred by scandal, where anger was projected onto his wife making services unsafe for her, Pastor Dave describes how a Third Day concert performance of “My Hope Is You” restored their hope through the Holy Spirit, prompting them to stand and reaffirm trust in God. He highlights Psalms as rich sources of hope, cites Old Testament figures who persevered through trials by anchoring in God’s word, and invites listeners facing despair, darkness, or loss to rediscover resurrection-powered hope in Christ—defined in his acronym as “Heaven’s One Promise” (Immanuel leading to eternity)—urging daily Psalm reading, prayer, and placing ultimate trust in Jesus for renewed strength, peace, and purpose.

Seed of Faith: Notable Faith
In this week's Seed of Faith radio message, Pastor Dave explores the story of the twelve spies sent into the Promised Land (Numbers 13–14) and draws a powerful life lesson from one small but life-changing word: “but”. While ten of the spies gave a faithless report saying, “The land flows with milk and honey… but the people are powerful… we seemed like grasshoppers,” Joshua and Caleb placed their “but” in the right place: “But the Lord is with us.” Pastor Dave powerfully contrasts the words “not able” (meaning incapable, weak, defeated) with “notable” (remarkable, distinguished, significant) — the only difference being the placement of one space. He challenges listeners to stop letting the “giants” in their lives (health issues, financial problems, fear, past failures) convince them they are “not able,” and instead become “notable” by keeping God in the equation. As we begin 2026 with a clean slate, the message is clear: where you place your “but” determines whether you live defeated or victorious — choose to say “But God is with us… But God is able.”

Jump Into God's Mix
In this powerful New Year's sermon from The Seed church, Pastor David kicks off 2026 with an inspiring call to "Jump into God's mix" — embracing what God is doing anew in our lives, families, work, and church community. Drawing from Proverbs 22:1 ("A good name is more desirable than great riches"), the Baptism of the Lord (Matthew 3, John 1), and stories of name changes in Scripture (Simon to Peter, Abram to Abraham), he urges us to let go of past sins and burdens — symbolized by dropping black stones into the sea during communion — and step into fresh identity in Christ. Jesus is always "passing by," calling ordinary people like the disciples from Bethsaida to "Come" and "Follow me" with imperative urgency. Forget what lies behind; strain forward to a new chapter as followers of Christ (Christians), receiving a new name of confidence, joy, and purpose (echoing Revelation 2:17's white stone). Through communion, release the old, claim your word of intention for the year, and live out a reputation that honors God above all else.

Seed of Faith: Baptism's True Meaning
In this message from Pastor Dave of the Seed Christian Fellowship, the focus is on the significance of baptism as seen in Matthew 3:1–17, where John the Baptist calls for repentance and prepares the way for Jesus, who is baptized to fulfill all righteousness, resulting in the heavens opening, the Spirit descending like a dove, and God's voice declaring, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." Amid debates over modes—immersion, pouring, sprinkling, or even humorous anecdotes like fire-hose baptisms or Ollie's "conversion" from beef to fish—Pastor Dave emphasizes that the form is secondary; baptism is an outward sign of inward spiritual realities worked by the Holy Spirit: death to sin and resurrection to new life, cleansing and forgiveness of sins, regeneration and renewal, and adoption or engrafting as beloved sons and daughters into God's family. Drawing from personal stories, including a powerful Andean river baptism and a young man's spontaneous decision to be baptized, he urges listeners to remember who they are in Christ—forgiven, renewed, and loved by the Father—echoing the call to Simba in The Lion King: "Remember who you are. You are more than you have become," inviting all, whether baptized or not, to embrace this new beginning in the new year through faith in Jesus.

Strength & Peace
In this inspiring message from Jordan Laemmlen at The Seed Christian Fellowship, explore the powerful promise of Psalm 29:11: “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” Jordan unpacks how God’s unmatched power—thundering over creation like in Psalm 29—brings deep, unshakable peace, not through our own efforts but through surrender to Him. Drawing from UFC fighter Jalin Turner’s journey of emptiness, retirement at 29, and triumphant return filled with Christ-centered confidence, alongside biblical examples like David facing Goliath and Stephen’s peaceful martyrdom, he reminds us: true strength and peace flow from trusting Jesus, not self-reliance. This isn’t a TED Talk—it’s real life with eternal stakes. Seek Him first, surrender today, and experience the strength and peace only Christ provides.Filmed at The Seed Christian Fellowship. Seed of Faith: Epiphany - Waiting with Hope
In this post-Christmas message from Pastor Dave of the Seed Christian Fellowship, Simeon and Anna exemplify faithful waiting for the Messiah amid centuries of silence: the righteous, Spirit-guided Simeon daily watched in the temple, trusting God's promise that he would see Israel's consolation before death, while the elderly widow Anna, undeterred by sorrow and lifelong devotion to prayer and fasting, refused bitterness and looked for Jerusalem's redemption—both recognizing the infant Jesus as the promised light to the nations and glory to Israel, bringing comfort to losses and rescue from sin's bondage; their stories challenge listeners entering a new year to handle grief by turning toward Christ rather than growing hard, to let inner hope outweigh surrounding hopelessness, to trust that God works while we wait, and to ask what kind of "music" we will make with whatever we have left, waking daily to seek His presence and sharing the good news of the Messiah who has come.

Epiphany: Reality Vs. Fantasy
Kick off 2026 with this heartfelt post-Christmas sermon from Jordan Laemmlen that urges us not to rush past the miracle of Jesus' birth. While New Year's resolutions often remain fantasy, the Christmas story is undeniable reality—God entered history, overcame darkness, and changed everything forever. Exploring the wise men, Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and even Herod, this message reminds us that following Jesus involves real trials but leads to true hope, love, joy, and peace. Instead of self-focused goals, let's seek His righteousness first in 2026 through prayer, fasting, Scripture, and silence—because the greatest gift has already been given in Christ.

Advent: Peace
In this last Advent message, Pastor Dave returns to Isaiah 9:1–7 and Luke 2:8–20 to reflect on Jesus as the Prince of Peace. Spoken into a world of darkness, grief, fear, and unrest, God’s promise is clear: “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.” That light is Christ.Through the announcement to the shepherds—outsiders and overlooked by society—we see that peace does not come through power, wealth, or circumstances, but through the presence of Jesus. From the manger to the cross to the resurrection, Christ offers a peace the world cannot give: a peace that heals, restores, and sends us out transformed. This message reminds us that peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ. The Prince of Peace has come—and peace still enters wherever Jesus is welcomed.

Seed of Faith: Advent - Peace
The Final Week of Advent – Peace invites us to find Emmanuel—God with us—through the eyes of the overlooked shepherds. After journeying through Advent themes of hope (Zechariah), love (Joseph), and joy (Mary), we arrive at peace, revealed first not to kings or elites, but to humble, outcast shepherds. Their response to the angels’ message—“Do not be afraid”—challenges us to ask whether encountering Christ truly changes us.Drawing from Isaiah 9 and Luke 2, Pastor Dave reminds us that God brings light into darkness, peace into chaos, and joy to the weary. True peace is found when we discover what fills us—and let go of what empties us. This Advent, we are invited to enter the Christmas story ourselves, to seek the Christ child with haste, and to allow Emmanuel to transform our hearts. The good news of great joy is still for all people. Christ is born. Peace is here. Will we be changed?

Advent: Joy
In this third week of Advent, Pastor Dave reflects on joy—the deep, lasting joy that flows from knowing Jesus as our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, and Everlasting Father. Building on the themes of hope and love, this message walks through Isaiah 9 and Luke 1–2 to show how true joy is rooted not in circumstances, but in God’s unchanging presence with us. Through the stories of Mary, Elizabeth, and the angel’s proclamation to the shepherds, we’re reminded that joy is a choice—even in uncertainty—and that God invites us to place Him at the center of our lives. Like a properly ordered nativity, when we put the Everlasting Father in His rightful place, our hearts are healed, our perspective is renewed, and the joy of the Lord becomes our strength.

Seed of Faith: Advent - Joy
In the third week of Advent, Pastor Dave focused on the theme of joy, drawing from Luke 1:39–45 and the joyful meeting of Mary and Elizabeth. He highlighted Mary’s eager, faithful response to God’s call and the joy that erupted when Jesus entered the room—even causing John the Baptist to leap in the womb. True joy, he explained, is not dependent on circumstances but is rooted in trusting God’s promises and presence. As Advent continues, we’re invited to practice joy daily—choosing faith over fear, obedience over hesitation, and allowing “the joy of the Lord” to be our strength as we prepare our hearts for Christ.

This week at The Seed Christian Fellowship, Pastor Dave opened the season of Advent by reminding us that Advent is a time of preparation—preparing our hearts, homes, and lives for the coming of Christ. Reflecting on Isaiah 9 and Matthew 1, he encouraged us to imagine the ancient Israelites waiting in captivity for the promised Messiah and to let God’s Word feel new again. Pastor Dave highlighted the many promises in Isaiah—light in darkness, joy, freedom from burdens, and the coming of the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Advent is a message of hope for the weary, the burdened, the grieving, and the anxious. Seed of Faith: Advent - Hope
Pastor Dave opens the Advent season by reflecting on Luke 1:1–25, the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth—a couple who waited a lifetime for God to answer their prayers. He reminds us that Advent is a season of hope, love, joy, and peace, and that the heart of hope is learning to wait on God, even when He seems silent. Drawing from Psalm 46 and the calming of the storm in Mark 4, he teaches that God often speaks in stillness, calling us to “be still and know that I am God.”

Christ is King
Pastor Dave and The Seed welcome you to hear God's Word – we pray this message blesses you deeply! In this powerful sermon, Pastor Dave explores the timeless question Pilate asked Jesus: "What is truth?" In a world filled with relative truth, AI deception, and subjective opinions, Jesus stands as the eternal, personal, and relational Truth. He came into the world to testify to the truth, declaring "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Truth is not just a concept – it is a Person: Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Today, we are challenged to move beyond our own ideas and embrace the truth that sets us free. Christ is King – may He reign in every area of our lives! Amen.
