    Receiving the Kingdom

This week’s message, Receiving the Kingdom, explores what it means to approach God with the trust, humility, and dependence of a child. Looking at Mark 10:13–16, John 1:9–13, Proverbs 3:5–7, Deuteronomy 31:8, and 1 Corinthians 3:19, we’ll discover how God invites us to receive His kingdom not through our own wisdom or strength, but through faith in Him. Join us as we learn to trust God’s guidance, rest in His presence, and embrace the life He offers as His children.

This week’s message, The Nature of the Kingdom, looks at Mark 4:26–29 and the way God’s kingdom grows in ways we don’t always understand or control. We’ll explore what it means to embrace the mystery of the kingdom, live a life of dependence on God, and recognize that while there is work to do, it’s a different kind of work than we often expect. Big Questions - Rules Versus Relationship

In our series Big Questions, Pastor Garrett explores the question: Is following Jesus about rules or relationship? Looking at John 15:15 and Matthew 5:17–20, this message reminds us that faith is rooted in knowing God, not just following a list of commands. We’ll explore how not everything in Scripture is prescriptive, and how Old Testament laws point us to deeper principles and wisdom that reveal God’s heart. Join us as we discover how Jesus invites us into a relationship that transforms the way we read the Bible and live our faith.

Big Questions - The Mystery of the Trinity & Why it Matters

In our series Big Questions, Pastor Garrett explores one of the most foundational truths of the Christian faith: the mystery of the Trinity and why it matters. Looking at The Gospel of John 17:1–5, this message helps us understand that God is three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully God, yet there is only one God. More than just a theological idea, the Trinity shapes how we understand our purpose, what has been broken by sin, and what God is working to restore through Christ. We’re reminded that we were created for relationship with God, and through Jesus, we are invited back into the life and love of the Trinity. Join us as we discover why this mystery is not only worth believing, but life-changing for every disciple.

    Mother's Day

This Mother’s Day, Pastor Garrett sits down with two incredible moms—his wife, Julie, and fellow Seed Church mom, Lindsey—for an honest and encouraging conversation about how motherhood reflects the heart and character of God. Through personal stories, laughter, and biblical insight, they explore God’s nurturing love, patience, protection, and compassion through the lens of motherhood. Featuring reflections on Psalm 139:13–14, Romans 10:21, and Psalm 91:4, this special episode is a reminder of God’s faithful care for His children and the powerful role mothers play in revealing His love every day.

Big Questions : What is our relationship with money?

In our new series Big Questions, Pastor Garrett tackles the first question: What is our relationship with money? Looking at Matthew 6:19–21 and 1 Timothy 6:10, this message challenges us to put our financial goals and desires into God’s hands instead of letting money take control. We’re reminded that giving isn’t just a command—it’s a way God forms our hearts. As disciples, we’re called to give regularly, both as an act of trust and as an expression of love for the church. Join us as we learn what it means to live with open hands and a God-centered perspective on money.

The Church - Part 5 - Preview of Heaven

In this message, Pastor Garrett unpacks Revelation 21:1–4 and Philippians 3:20 to show us how the church is meant to be a living preview of heaven. These passages remind us that our true citizenship is in heaven and that God is preparing a future where there is no more pain, sorrow, or death. But that future isn’t just something we wait for—it’s something we begin to reflect right now. Pastor Garrett challenges us to see the church as a place where the realities of heaven break into our everyday lives through how we love, serve, and care for one another. As we live as citizens of heaven, we are called to build communities marked by grace, unity, and hope, giving the world a glimpse of what is to come. When the church reflects heaven in both heart and action, it becomes more than a gathering—it becomes a powerful testimony of God’s coming kingdom. Join us as we learn what it means to live with eternity in mind and to be a preview of heaven to those around us.

The Church - Part 4 - Family and Army

In part four of our series, The Church: Family and Army, Pastor Garrett unpacks Acts 6:1–7 and shows us how the early church functioned with both deep care and clear purpose. As needs arose within the community, believers stepped up to serve, reminding us that the church is not just a place we attend, but a family we belong to and an army we are called to be part of. This message emphasizes that each of us has a role to play—we are called to take responsibility, serve others, and carry the mission forward together. When we embrace both the unity of family and the discipline of an army, the church grows stronger and continues to move in power and purpose. Join us as we learn what it looks like to live committed, connected, and ready to serve.

    Easter - Life!

In this message, Pastor Garrett explores the foundation of our faith through 1 Corinthians 15:13–19 and Luke 24:1–6, reminding us that if Christ has not been raised, our faith is useless and our hope is limited to this life—but the empty tomb declares a greater truth. The angel’s question, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” points us to the reality that Jesus is alive, not defeated by death but victorious over it. This message challenges us to see that because Christ is risen, our faith has meaning, our hope is eternal, and our lives are no longer defined by despair but by the power of the resurrection.

  10. 16

    It is Finished

In this message, It Is Finished, Pastor Garrett reflects on Mark 14:32–36 and John 19:28–30, tracing the powerful journey from Jesus’ agony in the garden to His final words on the cross. What began as a moment of deep surrender in Gethsemane was fulfilled in a declaration of victory—sin defeated, the price paid in full. This message invites us to see that “it is finished” is not a cry of defeat, but a proclamation of redemption, reminding us that because of Jesus’ sacrifice, the work needed for our salvation has already been completed

The Church - Part 3 - Devotion Challenged

In part three of our series, The Church: Devotion Challenged, Pastor Garrett unpacks Acts 4:13–22 and what happens when true devotion is put to the test. As opposition rises, we see that the church is still God’s plan to bring heaven to earth, and our identity as followers of Jesus remains unshaken. This message reminds us that bold, passionate conviction flows from deep intimacy with Christ—and that when we stand firm and refuse to compromise, God Himself fights on our behalf. Join us as we learn what it looks like to live out an unshakable faith in the face of pressure.

  12. 14

    The Church - Part 2 - Devoted

In part two of our series, The Church: Devoted, Pastor Garrett dives into Acts 2:42–47, exploring what it truly means to live a life of devotion. The early church wasn’t built on convenience or comfort, but on a deep commitment—to God, to truth, to one another, and to prayer. This message challenges us to move beyond passive faith and into intentional community, where lives are shaped by Scripture, strengthened through fellowship, and sustained by prayer. Join us as we rediscover a church marked by genuine devotion and a faith that transforms both hearts and communities.

  13. 13

    The Church - Part 1 - A Spirit-Empowered Movement

In this week’s kickoff to our new series, The Church, Pastor Garrett explores Acts 1:4-8 to remind us that the church was birthed out of a supernatural move of God, not a clever growth strategy. We are called to be more than just members; we are witnesses to a living, active story of redemption unfolding in the world today. Join us as we rediscover the church’s true identity as a preview of heaven—a sanctuary of stability, healing, and restoration for all.

    Formed - Part 9

Welcome to “Formed,” Part 9, in our spiritual formation series at The Seed Church led by Pastor Garrett. This week we explore formation through habits and practices—intentional rhythms that shape our hearts and lives to become more like Christ. Rooted in Romans 8:18–23 and Proverbs 4:23, we are reminded that while all creation groans in longing for redemption, God is actively at work forming us in hope and glory, calling us to guard our hearts as the wellspring of life. Practices like prayer, corporate worship, fasting, and service position our hearts before God so He can shape our desires, refine our character, and anchor us in eternal perspective. As we faithfully engage these habits, the Spirit transforms our daily lives, forming us more deeply into the likeness of Jesus even as we wait in hope for the fullness of His restoration.

  15. 11

    Formed - Part 8

Welcome to “Formed,” Part 8, in our spiritual formation series at The Seed Church led by Pastor Garrett. This week we explore formation through confession, rooted in 1 John 1:9 and James 5:16, discovering that confession is one of God’s pathway to formation. A key characteristic necessary for confession and true transformation is vulnerability—the courage to be fully honest before God and others. Yet much of humanity’s brokenness flows from our inability to be vulnerable, a pattern that began in Genesis 3:7–13 when shame led Adam and Eve to hide. As we step out of hiding and into the light, we find that God meets our honesty with grace, forming us more deeply into the likeness of Christ.

  16. 10

    Formed Part 6

Welcome to “Formed,” Part 6, in our spiritual formation series at The Seed Church led by Pastor Garrett. In this episode, we focus on grace and the essential role it plays in our formation—reminding us that transformation does not begin with striving, performance, or self-effort, but with receiving the unearned favor of God. Grace is not only what saves us; it is what sustains and shapes us, freeing us from shame, pride, and the pressure to earn God’s approval. As we learn to live from acceptance rather than for acceptance, we discover that grace creates the safety and power for real change, forming us more fully into the likeness of Christ.

  17. 9

    Formed - Part 5

Join us for “Formed,” Part 5, a teaching in our spiritual formation series at The Seed Church led by Pastor Garrett. This message focuses on the role of the Holy Spirit in our formation, reminding us that it is the Spirit’s work in us that produces the fruit in our lives. Rather than simply resisting the works of the flesh, we are invited to live lives led and controlled by the Spirit. Spiritual practices like daily time with God, meditation, and worship are not ways to transform ourselves, but ways to position our hearts to receive the Holy Spirit’s transforming work within us.

  18. 8

    Formed - Part 4

In Part 4 of Formed, Pastor Garrett explores how God shapes us through relationships. Drawing from John 21:4–14, Romans 12:3–8, Galatians 2:11–13, and 2 Peter 3:15, this episode highlights how God uses community, encouragement, correction, and even conflict to form who we are becoming. From restoring and feeding one another, to being challenged in love and humility, relationships are a key tool God uses to shape our character and faith. We’re reminded that spiritual formation doesn’t happen in isolation—God often forms us through the people around us.

  19. 7

    Formed - Part 3

In Part 3 of Formed, Pastor Garrett teaches from James 1:2–4 and 16–17, reminding us that God shapes us through both trials and blessings. The hard and difficult moments in life are not wasted—God uses them to build perseverance, maturity, and others. At the same time, every good and perfect gift in our lives comes from Him, and He uses those blessings to shape our hearts as well. In every season, God is at work, forming who we are becoming.

  20. 6
