This week’s message, Receiving the Kingdom, explores what it means to approach God with the trust, humility, and dependence of a child. This message emphasizes that each of us has a role to play—we are called to take responsibility, serve others, and carry the mission forward together. When we embrace both the unity of family and the discipline of an army, the church grows stronger and continues to move in power and purpose. In this message, Pastor Garrett explores the foundation of our faith through 1 Corinthians 15:13–19 and Luke 24:1–6, reminding us that if Christ has not been raised, our faith is useless and our hope is limited to this life—but the empty tomb declares a greater truth. The angel’s question, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” points us to the reality that Jesus is alive, not defeated by death but victorious over it. This message challenges us to see that because Christ is risen, our faith has meaning, our hope is eternal, and our lives are no longer defined by despair but by the power of the resurrection.

In this message, It Is Finished, Pastor Garrett reflects on Mark 14:32–36 and John 19:28–30, tracing the powerful journey from Jesus’ agony in the garden to His final words on the cross. What began as a moment of deep surrender in Gethsemane was fulfilled in a declaration of victory—sin defeated, the price paid in full. This message invites us to see that “it is finished” is not a cry of defeat, but a proclamation of redemption, reminding us that because of Jesus’ sacrifice, the work needed for our salvation has already been completed

In part three of our series, The Church: Devotion Challenged, Pastor Garrett unpacks Acts 4:13–22 and what happens when true devotion is put to the test. As opposition rises, we see that the church is still God’s plan to bring heaven to earth, and our identity as followers of Jesus remains unshaken. This message reminds us that bold, passionate conviction flows from deep intimacy with Christ—and that when we stand firm and refuse to compromise, God Himself fights on our behalf.
