Whenever I get on to record I hope what you hear is an aid to your process. In the end I'll sound like a broken record but I hope the seeds planted grow into something that is good for use.

Growth mindset.....Old school thoughts with a mix of the new school mentality on hitting and personal development. They may be closely related.

Another dive into the vast topic of mindset. I enjoy digging into the process and exploring what makes each of us “go” throughout life. This includes on the field as well as day to day life. I’ll say it again, mindset matters.

Another ride in my car thinking about time and baseball.

Our Best Speed 13u Hornets experienced a little bit of everything on the baseball field this weekend. This is inspired by them and those I've watched play the last couple of years. Whenever you're ready, there is more this game has to offer you, just as life does.

Another trip to a tournament and another segment to share. In some way, I hope it helps someone. Enjoy.

It may be naive to think so, but I don't know anyone else that digs into the process and mindset of hitting than I do. I'm sure many feel this way, and I think it's healthy. It just means that there are others helping these young men get closer to their full potential. In the end its all about them anyways. Those that want to put it the work and time will be rewarded. Those with other interests will spend more time doing the things that interest them and succeed in those areas. I'm here for those that want to dig and those that are here short term. Baseball will end for us all at some point, the actual playing that is. What you gather, share for those that are coming after you. I'm here for that.

Had a chance to track down Aj Jackson for a conversation on wasting at bats as a hitter in the game of baseball. Aj was coming into Sac State as a freshman when I was leaving as a junior. He is a key part of me being back involved with the game. Enjoy.

Part 2 of some thoughts I had digging into my notebook of baseball experience. Mindset is a huge factor to ones success. Develop a growth mindset over a fixed one. More to come on that.

Another trip to the Facility to watch the process take place with some young men prepping for college, all levels. I always start to dig into my notebook. It's a bit dusty but there are some good things in it for the next generation. I'm asking one simple thing, what's under your hood? What are your thoughts in moments of success and failure. Think about it, it's useful for your journey.

Part of my passion in giving back to the youth playing this game is sharing my experience and the experience from others that have played with them. I had the opportunity to speak with a good friend of mine Kevin Forbes about his experience as a player and coach today. He speaks on many of the things we touch on often with our young players that center around being able to handle what this game brings your way. Mentally, one has to be able to deal with failure on a consistent basis and be able to bounce back. Also, you once again hear how important school and the grind is if you want to succeed in this game. I'm sure our young men will benefit from hearing our conversation. This one should go down as a classic. The team with the most wins in Major League Baseball against the team with arguably the best roster. Who do you like?

There will be ⚾️. Not so soon, the Brewers wanted a game 7, and they got it. Game 7~Dodgers vs Brewers tomorrow. Who ya got?

I told you we had four great teams remaining. Red Sox has lunched their ticket. Who is next? Dodgers or Brewers🤔

Shopping and the NLCS

The Dodgers and Brewers are tied 2-2 going into game 5 tonight. What a series we have going. Who do you like?

Brewers take gane 1 6-5 over the Dodgers. Thus is going to be a fun series

No real surprises here. I still like the Brewers for NL, the Dodgers still have to prove themselves to me. Astros are still the Champs. They won’t let you forget
