Zac Karanovich is currently in a PhD program at Boston College on systematic theology with a specific interest in liberation theology. He is considered a double eagle (Boston College’s mascot is the eagle) because he also finished a master’s degree at Boston College in theology. Andrew Craig received his masters degree from Boston College and recently published a children’s book entitled “The Girl Who Saved The Stars.” In this book Andrew tells the story of a young girl who lives in a big city where the stars begin to disappear. The young girl is concerned for the stars so she does something about it. Our discussion in this episode centers around caring for God’s creation, Andrew’s inspiration on writing this book, and much more.

Kayla August has many years of experience in the realm of campus ministry and is currently in the process of pursuing a PhD in preaching with a specific interest in women’s voice in the Church. She recently had an article published in The Grotto, which focused on racial justice and how one can be an ally in the fight. Our conversation focused around racial justice (specifically in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death) and women’s voice in the Church.
