The Table Church

Jesus will return for us. It is both inevitable and unpredictable.

We are raised because Jesus was raised. He was raised because He was righteous. He deserved life, not death.

God calls us to walk in holiness, specifically sexual purity, and is pleased when we do.

Faithfulness will lead to affliction. Affliction is a means toward holiness.

If you fight and strive for godliness, you will have contentment in this life. If you are content with your current spiritual life, you will find yourself fighting the wrong battles.

A herald faithfully proclaims the word of God and loves deeply the people of God.

Ministry is helping people walk in a manner worthy of God while reflecting the heart of God.

Paul demonstrates and edifies the church with principles of how to live unto the Lord.

Paul made disciples and developed leaders who lived for and loved the local church.

Community is the best place to see the beauty of God, be broken over sin, be told the truth, and to give and receive compassion.

God’s compassion is a past completed action with ongoing continual results.

God’s wisdom and truth are available, valuable, and accessible.

Restoration with God starts with repentance from sin and repentance from sin starts with brokenness over sin.

The beauty of God cures us in our troubles.

Jesus is alive and this changes everything.

Jesus embodies, offers, and demands a radical ethic of love and forgiveness that relinquishes personal revenge, retaliation, and retribution.

Our heart and our actions must both be aligned with the nature and character of Jesus Christ.

Marriage is a covenant, not just a convenience.

Jesus is the long-awaited Messiah bringing the long-awaited Kingdom and He is demanding more righteous hearts, not just more righteous deeds by human effort.

Jesus is the only real cure to your anger because He is the only real cure for your heart.

Jesus doesn’t throw away the Old Testament. Jesus is the point of the Old Testament.

The world needs outside intervention. It needs salt and light. It needs Christ.

Life in God's Kingdom is antithetical to the world and results in profound joy.

Being continually changed by Jesus is a direction more than a destination.

Jesus resisted the devil and overcame temptation by relying on God and His Word.

Like John, we should boldly point people to Jesus Christ for salvation.

If God can deliver Jesus from Herod, Jesus can deliver us from sin.

What do you do with Jesus? Three options: Eliminate Him. Ignore Him. Worship Him.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭1

Jesus is the Bringer of God’s gift of love to us.

God has made a way to be with you, not against you.

Jesus' genealogy is a story of hope. God can save anyone.

Choose communion over control.

The Bible should be one of our best friends.

God will sometimes position us where He is our only provision.

Security is found in covenant with the true King.

It's not whether you have the best weapons or best technology. It's whether you have the real God.

Jesus was great in His eyes and became small so we who were small might be made great.

Covenant obedience matters far more than vocational achievement.
