Pause + Pray for Teachers | Don't Grow Weary in This Final Stretch
Welcome to Pause + Pray for Teachers | Don't Grow Weary in This Final StretchEach month, we pause in God's presence and pray together for our classrooms, students, and schools. I'm sharing these prayer gatherings here on the podcast so you can return to them anytime you need to reset, refocus, and be strengthened. This episode is longer than my typical podcast episodes because it's designed as a guided prayer experience — not just a teaching moment. Take a deep breath, slow down, and allow God to meet you right where you are. This month, our focus is Don't Grow Weary in This Final Stretch. As we navigate through the last quarter of the school year, the tiredness is real, the pressure is real, and the temptation to just push through on our own is real. But God is reminding us that He is still at work and still strengthening us. He is not asking us to finish strong on our own — He's offering to be in it with us. We just have to allow Him, and not dictate how the help comes.Wherever you are today, remember this: You are not alone in this final stretch. The Classroom Didn’t Change — I Did
In this episode, I share what God has been walking me through over the past few months in my classroom. Through time in the Word, prayer, fasting, and sitting with 1 Corinthians 13, God began to show me areas in my heart that needed to shift. The classroom situations didn’t fully change but my perspective did.I talk about how God used everyday classroom moments to reveal what was in me, refine my responses, and teach me what it truly looks like to walk in love as a teacher. If you’re in a challenging classroom season, feeling tired, or sensing that God is working on your heart, this episode is an encouragement to let Him continue the work.Growth doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means God is still working.💜 Stay Connected & Supported: If you’re needing prayer, encouragement, or a place to reset, I’ve created spaces where you can be poured into:✨ Join the FREE Teaching With Jesus Community: A supportive community for Christian teachers to pray together, stay encouraged, and walk this journey with faith and peace. Pause + Pray for Teachers | Receiving the Father’s Love Before Giving It
Welcome to Pause + Pray for Teachers | Receiving the Father’s Love Before Giving It.Each month, we gather to pause in God’s presence and pray together. I’m sharing these prayer gatherings here on the podcast so you can return to them anytime you need to reset, refocus, and be strengthened. This episode is longer than my typical podcast episodes because it’s designed as a guided prayer experience — not just a teaching moment. You’re invited to slow down, take a deep breath, and allow God to meet you right where you are. This month, our focus is simple but foundational: We cannot give what we have not first received. As teachers, we pour constantly — into students, families, coworkers, and communities. But love flows best from a heart that is rooted and renewed. In this Pause + Pray gathering, we center ourselves in the Father’s everlasting love, renew our minds through His Word, and commit to abiding daily so we can lead from overflow instead of exhaustion.During this prayer experience, we:• Receive and reflect on God’s everlasting love• Renew our minds to see through His lens, not the world’s• Commit to abiding daily through consistent time in His Word• Pray from a place of being rooted — not reactive• Lift up our students, classrooms, staff, and school environments• Remember that we are not powerless — we carry His Word, and He dwells within usWhether you’re listening during a quiet moment or returning to this prayer throughout your week, my prayer is that you leave reminded of this:You are loved. You are equipped. You are not alone. This Pause + Pray episode is available in both audio and video format. Teachers, Release What’s Heavy. Listen. Move. Let God Lead.
This episode flows from something we recently walked through inside the Teaching With Jesus Community — a 3-day experience called A Sacred Pause.Over those three days, we focused on:Releasing what’s heavySlowing down enough to listen Walking forward in obedienceBut here’s what I’ve been realizing personally…We can’t sustain obedience from burnout. We can’t respond well from emptiness. We can’t pour into our students from a place where we feel dry.We can’t give what we haven’t first received. And that’s where this next season is leading — learning how to receive the Father’s love before trying to give it away.💛 Stay ConnectedIf this resonated with you, the full 3-day Sacred Pause is available inside the FREE Teaching With Jesus Community. You can walk through it at your own pace — the reflections are there, the voice notes are there, and I’ll be there walking with you.✨ Join the FREE Teaching With Jesus Community: Click Here To Join!

Power of a Praying Teacher: Inviting God into Your Classroom Through Personal Prayer
In today’s episode, I’m diving into the power of praying as a teacher. Depending on where you teach, you may not be able to pray out loud with your students but your personal prayer as a teacher can still make a difference. When you start your day with God and invite Him into your classroom through quiet, intentional prayer, everything begins to shift.Prayer is where I surrender my plans, realign with God’s purpose, and receive the strength I need to lead with grace. And I want to remind you your prayers matter. They're shaping the atmosphere of your classroom before a single lesson is taught.🗣️ In This Episode You’ll Hear:🙏 What prayer really is and how it can guide your day💡 Why prayer is more about surrender than performance🔥 The shift that happens when we pray for our students, coworkers, and classrooms✨ The spiritual covering prayer creates as you walk in your assignment📖 Scripture Focus:1 Thessalonians 5:17Luke 18:1Philippians 4:6–7💥 Action Steps:Set aside 5–15 minutes to pray each morning before classKeep a running list of your students, coworkers, or situations to cover in prayerPray over your classroom door, desks, and materials inviting God's peace into every corner✨ Encouragement:Depending on where you teach, you may not be able to pray out loud with your students or speak your faith openly but you can still pray as a teacher. You can invite God in before the day begins and carry a spirit of prayer throughout your day. That quiet surrender? It can shift the entire atmosphere. Graced & Growing: Becoming Who God Created You To Be (Part 1)
Graced & Growing Part 1: In Part 1 of this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of my own “becoming” story — because growth doesn’t happen overnight. It happens in the in-between… the messy middle… where grace does its best work. Here’s what we cover in this episode:The truth that becoming her is a process, not a performanceHow confronting insecurity and old labels can become the soil for growthWhy passion over profit led me into purposeHow community and spiritual alignment helped me get in position and start fulfilling the assignments He has given meA little behind the mic: Last week brought some tech hiccups — and truth is, I still haven’t had the chance to grab new headphones or a mic. So here I am again, recording this episode on my iPad.Because I’m learning to give myself grace. To show up even when it’s not perfect. And to remember: the key isn’t perfection — it’s obedience. It’s doing what God said… even when the setup isn’t ideal.Want to go deeper? It Is Well: Finding Peace & Purpose in Life’s Storms as a Christian Woman
It Is Well – Finding Peace and Purpose in the StormIn this second episode of the Carried by Grace series, I’m sharing how to find true peace — not when the storm ends, but right in the middle of it.Here’s a little of what I cover: Peace is not the absence of chaos; rather, it is the perspective that God is in control and that He is with you every step of the way. In times of turmoil, true peace is found through steadfast trust in God's presence. You don’t have to carry anxiety or grief alone — His peace is your anchor.Take time to sit with Him, release what’s heavy, and steady your heart in His Word. God does not expect us to navigate life's storms in isolation; community and support are vital. 💜 A little behind-the-scenes: We had a few tech hiccups recording this episode (my microphone and headphones gave me a run for my money!). I ended up recording on my iPad — and it almost stole my peace. But I paused, breathed, and chose to live out exactly what this message is about: choosing peace in the middle of life’s unexpected moments.👉🏽Download your FREE Carried by Grace Companion Journal Reflect, journal, and rest in His peace as you walk this journey — one grace-filled step at a time.

Be Still and Know: Trusting God’s Timing in Every Season
Have you ever found yourself rushing ahead, trying to make something happen in your own strength? Through two simple, yet powerful moments while driving, God showed me:Why rushing ahead can cause unnecessary harmHow waiting protects us and positions us for His promisesWhy trusting God's pace is just as important as trusting His promisesIf you're in a season where you're tired of waiting or tempted to move before He says “go” this conversation is for you.“ Key Verse: Psalm 46:10 AMP “Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.”Takeaways from this episode: Be more concerned with God’s voice than people’s opinions.Trust that God’s timing is always protective and perfect—even when you can't see what's ahead.Praise Him while you wait, and allow the waiting to prepare your heart for what’s next.Reminder: If God hasn't told you to move don't move. If He tells you to go—move quickly in obedience.Links referenced in this episode:Grab my free gift: Download “Be Still & Trust: 10 Scriptures for Trusting God’s Timing” to help you meditate on His Word and strengthen your faith while you wait.Connect With Me: If this episode spoke to your heart, send me a DM @thetransformationalteacher. Have you ever known exactly what God told you to do but doing it feels heavy, inconvenient, or even just plain hard?In this honest and personal episode, I share how God gently called me back to the podcast after a season of resistance, wrestling, and a desire for simplicity. You’re not behind. You’re not disqualified. You’re just being invited to say yes again. Key Takeaways:Resistance often shows up when you're on the edge of alignment.Words have power start speaking life over the assignments God gave you.You don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to say yes again. Allow God to help you along the journey. Restarting isn’t failure it’s faith in action and it shows your obedience to God. The Power of Praise: Laying It Down at Jesus’ Feet
This week, I’m sharing how praise can shift our perspective and how we can truly lay our burdens at Jesus’ feet. Just like Joseph praised his way out of the pit, we have to lift our hands, magnify our God, and trust Him to sustain us.Maybe this week has felt heavy for you. Maybe you’ve found yourself frustrated, overwhelmed, or feeling like you’re just going through the motions. I get it. But here’s what I’ve learned—when we press into praise & worship and truly magnify God instead of our problems, everything begins to shift.Reflection Questions:What burdens have you been carrying that God is inviting you to release? What reminders has God sent you lately to show that He is with you?Next steps: Looking for more encouragement and practical tools to teach with joy and peace? Give Your Cares to God: Finding Peace Knowing He Cares for You
Takeaways: Surrendering your cares and anxieties to God allows you to live with peace in the midst of what is happening. Just like a garbage man picks up trash, you must give your burdens, cares, anxieties, insecurities to God. He desires to take those things away from you because you were not created to carry them. Meditating on God's word helps you distance yourself from worries and brings freedom. Consistently cast your burdens onto God and trust Him completely. Consistency is key to your breakthrough. Reflection: Take a moment to write out all your cares and worries in a letter to God. Then, as a symbol of letting go, ball it up and throw it in the trash can. Find a scripture that speaks to the area you’re surrendering and meditate on it throughout the week.Next steps: Looking for more encouragement and practical tools to teach with joy and peace?
