Why were we, humans, created? Was it to worship God? Was it to give Him glory? Is it possible we have misunderstood, or been taught incorrectly, why we, as humanity were created? We explore the purpose for our creation by looking at scripture and what it has to teach us.

We continue the discussion on the ultimate purpose of God for us — to be sons and daughters of God and to be the bride of Christ through union with Jesus. God wants a close relationship with us— it’s not about doing but about family, we are the household of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The guys finish their discussion on The Full Armor of God.   This episode we discuss -    - The sheild of Faith   - The Helmet of Salvation   - The Sword of the Spirit   Ephesians 6:16-18 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Today we start a discussion of 'The Full Armor of God" In this episode we discuss The Belt of Truth The Breastplate of Righteousness The Sandals of Peace We cover the following verses: Ephesians 6:10-18 (NIV) 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,  15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  

Episode 70 - Defining Repentance   When Ajai is away, Mark and Tim will play!  A shorter episode that focuses on the actual meaning and use of the word Repentance.  Marks statement that "We are not called to repent of sin for forgiveness, we are called to repent for forgveness of sin." is about as good a summary of this episode there is!

In this episode Tim and Ajai dive into Hebrews chapter 3 to uncover some of the foundational truths of the Gospel such as What is a sinful heart ? How does the author of Hebrews define sin? How does faith actually work? What must I do to be saved and how do we enter the rest of God ?  

In this episode we discuss the fruits of forgiveness, how understanding and fully resting in our forgiveness is key to manifesting the fruit of the Spirit and displaying the qualities mentioned in 2nd Peter chp 1 — virtue, knowledge, self control, brotherly kindness and love.

We start at Galatians 5:1 and go through 5:10. Pauls tells us that it is "For freedom that Christ set us free".  We discuss what this used to mean to us and how Grace revealed this passages true meaning. We then talk through the idea that if we decide we have to follow any of the law, we must follow the whole law.  We also discuss "The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love." GALATIANS 5:1-10 1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. 2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. 7 You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? 8 That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. 9 “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.” 10 I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion, whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty.
