Feb. 3rd, 2026 Christ in the Chaos

Feb. 3rd, 2026 Christ in the ChaosToday, chaos presents itself in many ways: social media keeping us constantly connected, artificial intelligence blurring truth and reality, technology offering alternative worlds to escape into, destructive wars, polarized politics we’re afraid to discuss, the challenges of modern dating, shifting social “norms,” biased media, violent protests, and complex personal and family struggles. Through this talk Mike Habeeb will lead us on a journey to rediscover truth through humility and the wisdom of the Church—sources that anchor us in real and lasting hope. Because hope begins where Christ enters our mess. Winter 2026 Series “Hope Does Not Disappoint“

    Feb. 10th, 2026 Memento Mori

Fr. Daniel Koehl helps us contemplate Memento Mori, an ancient Christian saying that translates to “remember that you must die.” Memento Mori means living with eternity in mind—not fearing death, but using the awareness of death to live more faithfully, humbly, and lovingly. Within the Catholic tradition, Memento Mori calls individuals to examine their lives with honesty, seek reconciliation and forgiveness, and release resentment in light of eternity. Far from being pessimistic, it offers profound hope—pointing beyond death to resurrection and reminding believers that every moment is an opportunity for grace.Winter 2026 Series “Hope Does Not Disappoint“

Feb. 17th, 2026: The Cross Triumphant

Feb. 17th, 2026: The Cross TriumphantParker Noll, nephew of Archbishop Noll, will speak on “The Cross Triumphant,” the third talk of the Winter Series, focusing on the hope revealed through Christ’s Crucifixion. Drawing from Scripture and the witness of the Saints, the talk reflects on how Christ carried the weight of all sin and entered fully into human suffering, showing that hope is not destroyed by the Cross but redeemed through it. Referencing John 15 and Matthew 25, “The Cross Triumphant” invites us to encounter the Crucifixion as the ultimate act of love and mercy, where suffering is transformed, and hope is made certain.Winter 2026 Series “Hope Does Not Disappoint“

    Feb 24th, 2026: Radical Hope

Sister Josetta Rose will be exploring what Radical Hope and trust look like daily. This talk is inspired by the Radical Hope and trust of our Blessed Mother Mary, who bore witness at the foot of the cross. Sister Josetta Rose will also focus on how we are to encounter hope in our ordinary lives. The Lord calls us daily to have Hope in Him—choosing to trust in God each day through prayer, even when circumstances feel overwhelming.Winter 2026 Series “Hope Does Not Disappoint“

Father Zane Langenbrunner | Winter 2025

Fr. Zane Langenbrunner will discuss the divine link between intimacy and commitment, not only in romantic relationships but in all vocations. Many seek intimacy without the responsibility of commitment, erring from God’s design for genuine, faithful relationships. By embracing commitment, we open ourselves to vulnerability in a prudent, meaningful way, in all relationships. In today’s world, technology has complicated this, often allowing us to interact virtually in ways that lack depth and true connection, detracting from the communal life we were designed for. By consciously choosing commitment, we find healing in relationships where Christ is present, reflecting God as a communion of persons. In honoring this design, we live in the image of God, building communities grounded in love as intended by God.

    Rachel Meixner | Winter 2025

Rachel Meixner will guide us in reflecting on the grace of the present moment as a profound source of healing for both body and soul. By embracing our present reality, we open up to Christ’s healing presence—He is here with us in each moment, transcending time and transforming our lives. We may carry burdens and anxieties presented by the present world, but we are called not to be paralyzed by the past or future. In the light of the Resurrection, we are offered new life, and through God’s grace, we find freedom and healing that enables us to live fully present in the light of eternity.

Fr. Andrew Budzinski - "Identity and Prayer" - TOT Winter 2023

Fr. Andrew Budzinski spoke on the importance of prayer and our relationship with Christ for a proper understanding of our identity. BIO: Fr. Andrew Budzinski is pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Wayne and Vocations Director for our diocese.  A native of South Bend, Fr. Andrew grew up at Holy Family parish, attended the University of Notre Dame, and while a parishioner at St. Pius X in Granger, sensed a call to the priesthood.  His fifteen minutes of fame was as the Leprechaun mascot for Notre Dame during his junior and senior years.  However, he is extremely sensitive about his Leprechaun-like height and baldness and doesn’t like to talk about this dark period of his life.  Immediately before entering seminary, Fr. Andrew worked in the radio industry in South Bend.  It was the perfect storm of spinning “MMM Bop” by the Hanson Brothers and “If You Wanna” by the Spice Girls every night that convinced him he was called to a different life.
