We finish Genesis 3 and make it through 1 Peter 3:1-7, with the goal of finishing the topic next week.

We continue our short series on English translations, hearing the examples from the CTCR, comparing NIV's changes from 1984 to 2011, and then finally getting to our own comparison, but only the first verse today.

Job continues to blame the Lord, but also confesses his faith in the resurrection and that God will redeem him.

There are so many different English translations available on ChristianBook.com or Amazon, or at your favorite Christian bookstore. We look today at the overview of many translations and the philosophy behind them, with the goal of recognizing which translations are helpful for use in church and in the home.
