How I found my identity in Christ
I have tried to make so many things my identity in my life. But whether it's achievements, appearance, or abilities, everything has left me either insecure or prideful. I needed a better source for my identity. Thankfully, what God offers me has nothing to do with who I am. I can receive it…

[82] Why is Friday good?
What is Good Friday? What do we celebrate? Spoiler: it's not just good news, it's the best news.
-
[81] Jesus is in me!
A banger of a last episode, if I do say so myself. Did you know Jesus lives in you if you’re a child of God? Hello? We act like He doesn’t, and it’s time that changes.
-
[80] Jesus is selfless!
If anyone had the right to be entitled and strict about His time and space, it was God. But Christ is so selfless and it has me so in awe of Him to observe how open-handed He continually was in the gospels.
-
[79] Jesus is waiting!
I was more shocked than I should have been to notice Jesus did things differently than I would have in the gospels. He held back from doing some pretty cool things because they people did not believe. He waits for us to have faith before He acts! How long will He be waiting for you?
-
[78] Jesus is compassionate!
An obvious attribute of Jesus in the gospels is His compassion, and recently it’s been as obvious that I lack compassion in a lot of ways.
-
[77] Jesus is better!
How many times do you think about food throughout the day? And even if it’s not on your mind, you know it’s necessary, right? Do you think about God’s word as much? Do you crave it? Does it seem necessary to you? Lots of food for thought ;)
-
[76] Jesus is willing!
Have you ever believed the lie that God doesn’t actually care? I think it’s so easy to get stuck in the fact that we will experience hardship and bad things. The dangerous part of that is it sometimes changes how we view God. We have to remember He is willing!
-
[75] Jesus is worthy & is coming back!
I keep going back to these verses in Revelation chapter 1. So much is said about Christ- who He is, what He did, and what He will do. There is so much to praise Him for and so much to hope for. Merry Christmas! Come again soon, Lord Jesus.
-
[74] Jesus is the Lamb of God!
Devotionals before 2026, day 1 | Something that’s been on my mind is the Passover story from Exodus 12. This will never not be amazing to me; God created a way out of death through the death of a substitute and its blood. Jesus is our substitute now, our Lamb! And His blood is applied to my life...
-
[73] How being a Christian affects my friendships
Does God really care about what my friendships look like and how I interact with my friends? I believe He does! Let’s discover some of what the Bible says about the kind of friendship that Christ would be honored by.
-
[72] How being a Christian affects my screen time
Welcome to my phone addiction support group. I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s talk about why screen time matters as a disciple of Jesus!
-
[71] Why life is different as a Christian
It can be so easy for me to take the label of Christianity without the lifestyle. But today, we talk about why being a Christian changes things. Our lives are under new management!
-
[70] What does it mean to be a Christian?
The word Christian implies a lot more than I think we thought. I wanted to create this episode to remind us what it means and hopefully challenge us to live accordingly.
-
[69] 22 things I learned this summer
I realize it’s almost October, but this summer was too good to just move on. I had so many awesome experiences learning about the Lord and my faith. All these things are genuinely things I did not know before. Praise the Lord for how He is constantly teaching us!
-
[68] Jesus is Healer
This story from Mark 5 is one of my favorites and I wanted to share some special lessons God's shown me from it.
-
[67] God, Isaiah, and the three branches of government
Isaiah 33:22 daily devotional | I’m all for separation of church and state but this connection was just too good to pass up. I love how the verse ends with “He will save us.” Amen!
-
[66] We can trust God to direct us
Isaiah 30:20-21 daily devotional | God has such perfect wisdom and love that even when He allows adversity and affliction, He will see us through. We can count on Him to speak to us and show us the steps to take as we walk through both trials and triumphs.
-
[65] Are you going back to your "Egypt" for advice?
Isaiah 30:2, 31:1 daily devotional | Maybe a better definition of our “Egypt” would be any environment that had caused you to sin before, or anything that was a past bondage for you. Careful where you go to for guidance!
-
[64] Why does God allow us to go through hard things?
Isaiah 28:27-29 daily devotional | This is, in fact, not the first devotional from Isaiah 28. I literally can't remember what I did this morning, so it makes sense I didn't remember the other epiosde. But anyway, that's just funny. Today, I wanted to talk about how God knows the pain we go…
more -
[63] Are you believing this lie about lies?
Isaiah 28:15 daily devotional | God has been teaching me about the freedom of truth and because of that, the imprisonment of lies. What lies do you believe are a refuge for you, but are actually a prison?
-
[62] The hopefulness of waiting on God
Isaiah 25:9 daily devotional | How many of you are waiting on an answer from God? All of you? Ok good. Today’s episode talks about the confidence we can have when we wait on God, because we know He’s faithful and always keeps His promises.
-
[61] We have constant access to abundant joy
Isaiah 12:3 daily devotional | Sometimes I wonder how different my life would be if I actually "remembered" my salvation all the time. Today’s verse talks about drawing joy from the well of our salvation and I just thought it was a beautiful picture.
-
[60] Who do I go to first for answers?
Isaiah 8:19 daily devotional | I think we know theoretically that it’s better to go to God first rather than people or other sources. But it’s always a good reminder of how much it makes sense to seek God, the One who not only holds the answers but cares about us.
-
[59] Do I really fear God?
Isaiah 8:13 daily devotional | I feel like this is a topic we think is taboo among Christians. But it’s so dangerous to not fear God, because then we tend to become soft about our sin. We need to bring back a holy fear of God!
-
[58] The best thing we can do for our holiness
Isaiah 5:20-21 daily devotional | How many times have you ended a day thinking things went pretty well? Well, the bible actually says “woe to you” if you’re that person who thinks they get most things right. Listen to today’s episode to hear about what our perspective should actually be.
-
[57] A simple yet serious reminder
Isaiah 1:16-18 daily devotional | It seems like a no brainer, but it’s so valid to ask ourselves if we actually treat sin as seriously as God does. And if we do, we’d take the instructions of these verses seriously, too.
-
[56] A perfect ending to the book of Hosea
Hosea 14 daily devotional | Crazy plot twist occurred and we can actually follow the Israelites example in this case. They came to God with repentant hearts, knowing that their actions were empty and their worldly idols were so weak. I hope we have the courage to do the same!
-
[55] Do good things make me forget God?
Hosea 13:6 daily devotional | I think it’s easy for us to forget God when we feel like everything’s going well. It’s been a good reminder for me to not forget who the source is of all the good I experience and also to not neglect God because we don’t have any problems anymore.
-
[54] I say God is Most High, but do I live like it?
Hosea 11:7 daily devotional | Another thing God called the Israelites out on was their tendency to say God was Most High, but not actually live like He was. Do we do the same?
-
[53] "It is time to seek the Lord"
Hosea 10:12 daily devotional | Today, I talked about farming, about which I am no expert, so yeah. But, I loved the way this verse used the sowing and reaping metaphor to explain how we as Christians should be diligent and disciplined about seeking God and experiencing His grace.
-
[52] What God really desires from us
Hosea 6:6 daily devotional | What does God mean when He says, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice"? It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of "doing" for God that we miss the devotion and quality time that's more vital for our relationship with Him.
-
[51] Am I chasing after false sources of love?
Hosea 2:5 daily devotional | When I read this verse, I was convicted of doing the same thing God saw Israel doing: treating earthly things like they were the source of all the good I experienced. How sad that must make God! He's our true source of love, and if I'm grateful at all, I'd show…

[50] Am I using God's gifts for His glory or my own?
I read this verse in Hosea during my quiet time and I started reflecting on its significance for us now. We all have our own idols, things that take us away from our God who deserves our undivided attention. This verse and these thoughts propelled me to take an inventory of what He's given me and...
-
[49] What does sky diving have to do with the gospel?
I'm so glad you asked. I love it when people say "It's just like how...." and then they use a metaphor to explain the concept. There are so many cool analogies I've heard to use when sharing the gospel so I'm excited to share those today! Also, stay listening for the "dessert" of today's episode:...
-
[48] 22 things I would tell my younger self
All my life advice I'd share with young Keerthana. Also, enjoy part 4 of awkward things :)
-
[47] My favorite questions for sharing the gospel
Have you ever wondered how to actually start a gospel conversation or what to ask? I’ve had the privilege of learning a lot of cool questions from people I know or just experience, and I wanted to share. It’s so good to have these in our toolbox when we go out to evangelize.
-
[46] Why should I share the gospel?
Every soul is either heading to heaven or hell. Do you care? What will you do about it? Also, yes, I know there is such a thing as plant protein. Thank you.
-
[45] What is discipleship?
Everyone should have a Paul and a Timothy in their life- someone to spiritually mentor them, and someone they are spiritually mentoring. In this episode I talk about what discipleship is, why it's so important, and some ideas for how to do it!
-
[44] What is baptism?
What is baptism and why should we be baptized? There’s a whole lot we could dive into here, but I tried to keep it simple and just cover the basics! Baptism is such a beautiful way God gave us to outwardly show what happened to us on the inside.
-
[43] Remember, thank, and trust
There’s a lot we can learn from the Israelites in the Old Testament, but one of my favorite lessons is the importance of remembrance. It’s so dangerous when we forget what God’s done, but when we reflect and recall His goodness, and thank Him for that, we can trust Him for the future.
-
[42] What is prayer?
Basically, prayer is talking to God. Which actually is not basic at all, it’s like the coolest thing EVER!
-
[41] Why should I go to church?
God doesn’t just desire for us to have a relationship with Him, He wants us to live in community with other Christians and do life with them. What does that look like? I’m so glad you asked.
-
[40] Why and how should I read the Bible?
Reading the Bible is so good for you! Spending time with God in His word is the ideal way to know Him more and ensure we’re living His best life for us. Also, stay tuned to the second half of this episode for a more ~unserious~ segment.
-
[39] How does the Holy Spirit help me live as a Christian?
Have you ever wondered how to actually live as a Christian and what makes growth possible? I’ve wondered what the role of the Holy Spirit is in my life and I wanted to share what I’ve learned. He makes all the difference and wants to empower and direct us!
-
[38] What happens when I sin?
Have you ever wondered what happens if you sin? In this episode, we'll talk about what is affected based on if you're a Christian or not. Also- wanted to make a note about the analogy with the list of sins nailed- it's past, present, and future sins. Praise God! Hope you enjoy!
-
[37] Can I know for sure I'm going to heaven?
Part 2 of the Foundations for Faith series! I talk about how we can be 100% we have eternal life.
-
[36] What is the gospel?
Foundations of Faith- Episode 1! Share this with someone who needs to hear it :)
