Episode 4 | The Nations Were Given To The Sons of God | Series | Who Is The Enemy
Send Us Message About The ShowEpisode 4: The Nations Were Given To The Sons of God — Who Is the Enemy? In Episode 4 of the Who Is the Enemy? series, Timothy explores the events of Babel and the significance of Deuteronomy 32:8–9 in understanding the unseen realm. What happened when humanity rebelled against God's command to fill the earth? And what does Scripture mean when it says the nations were divided according to the number of the sons of God?Drawing from Genesis 11 and Deuteronomy 32, this episode examines how God dispersed the nations after Babel and entrusted them to the oversight of spiritual beings known as the sons of God. Timothy discusses the biblical concept of the divine council, the meaning of the term Elohim, and why Yahweh alone stands above every other spiritual being as the one true Creator God.This teaching also lays the foundation for understanding the gods of the nations throughout the Old Testament and prepares listeners for the next episode, where the fall of the sons of God and their role in humanity's spiritual rebellion will be explored in greater depth.Join us as we continue uncovering the biblical story of the unseen realm and answering the question: Who is the enemy?Support The Podcast:https://tinyurl.com/Coffee-ThoughtfulDownload Episode Transcript Here:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1C4p-vfXOrDTXcLmNq9NHUF3rTm-JPJoo?usp=sharingListen To The Podcast:Apple Podcasts: https://tinyurl.com/Apple-ThoughtfulSpotify: https://tinyurl.com/Spotify-ThoughtfulPocketCast:https://tinyurl.com/Pocket-ThoughtfulMusic In This Episode:Oh My Elohim Above The Stars By Timothy Cappetto

Episode 3 | The Origins Of The Sons Of God | Series | Who Is The Enemy
Send Us Message About The ShowEpisode 3: The Origins of the Sons of God — Who Is the Enemy? In Episode 3 of the Who Is the Enemy? series, Timothy explores the biblical concept of the “sons of God” and their role within God’s heavenly council. Drawing from passages such as 1 Kings 22, Job 1–2, Psalm 89, Daniel 7, and Genesis 1, this teaching examines how God chose to involve His heavenly host in carrying out His divine purposes and decisions. Listeners are introduced to the idea of the divine council—a heavenly assembly of spiritual beings who serve under God’s authority. Timothy discusses how these beings participated in God’s administration of creation and history, not because God needed their counsel, but because He desired partnership with both His heavenly family and His human family. The episode also explores the presence of the sons of God throughout Scripture and considers how some of these heavenly beings eventually became part of the rebellion against God. Timothy concludes by examining Genesis 1:26–27 and the discussion surrounding the plural language of “Let us make man in our image,” inviting listeners to study for themselves how the divine council and the Trinity may both relate to this foundational passage. This episode lays the groundwork for understanding how the sons of God fit into the larger biblical story and sets the stage for future discussions on how some members of God’s heavenly host became part of the spiritual opposition described throughout Scripture. Episode 2| The Role Of Satan | Series | Who Is The Enemy
Send Us Message About The ShowEpisode 2: The Role of Satan — Who Is the Enemy? In week two of the Thoughtful Theology series Who Is the Enemy?, Timothy continues exploring the biblical identity and role of Satan within the unseen realm. Building on the previous episode about the “original rebel,” this teaching examines how the Old Testament presents Satan not only as an adversarial figure, but also as one functioning in the role of “the adversary” within the heavenly court.Using passages from 1 Chronicles 21, Job 1–2, and 2 Samuel 24, Timothy explains the significance of the Hebrew phrase “the Satan” and how the definite article points to a role or function rather than necessarily a personal name. The episode explores how Satan operates as an accuser, challenging the loyalty and allegiance of God’s people, particularly in the story of Job.Timothy also discusses the tension between passages where Satan incites David and others where Yahweh is described as permitting or provoking the same event, encouraging listeners to carefully study Scripture in its original context. Throughout the teaching, listeners are reminded that the enemy seeks destruction and separation from God, while Jesus Christ offers life, redemption, and fullness through allegiance to Him.Support The Podcast:https://tinyurl.com/Coffee-ThoughtfulDownload Episode Transcript Here:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1C4p-vfXOrDTXcLmNq9NHUF3rTm-JPJoo?usp=sharingListen To The Podcast:Apple Podcasts: https://tinyurl.com/Apple-ThoughtfulSpotify: https://tinyurl.com/Spotify-ThoughtfulPocketCast:https://tinyurl.com/Pocket-ThoughtfulMusic In This Episode:Oh My Elohim Above The Stars By Timothy Cappetto

Episode 1| The Original Rebel | Series | Who Is The Enemy
Send Us Message About The ShowEpisode 1: The Original Rebel — Who Is the Enemy? In the first episode of this new Thoughtful Theology series, Timothy explores the biblical question: Who is the enemy in the unseen realm? Drawing from passages such as Ephesians 6, Genesis 1–3, Revelation 12, and the writings of Dr. Michael Heiser, this teaching challenges listeners to look beyond human conflict and recognize the spiritual battle described throughout Scripture.Timothy discusses humanity as God’s image-bearers, explaining that God’s desire from the beginning was to unite His heavenly family with His human family through relationship and allegiance to Him. The episode then turns to Genesis 3 and examines the identity of the serpent as the “original rebel,” exploring whether the serpent was more than a literal animal and how the New Testament connects this figure to Satan, the adversary of God’s purposes. This episode lays the foundation for the series by introducing themes of spiritual rebellion, the unseen realm, and humanity’s call to remain faithful to God through Christ.Support The Podcast:https://tinyurl.com/Coffee-ThoughtfulDownload Episode Transcript Here:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1C4p-vfXOrDTXcLmNq9NHUF3rTm-JPJoo?usp=sharingListen To The Podcast:Apple Podcasts: https://tinyurl.com/Apple-ThoughtfulSpotify: https://tinyurl.com/Spotify-ThoughtfulPocketCast:https://tinyurl.com/Pocket-ThoughtfulMusic In This Episode:Oh My Elohim Above The Stars By Timothy Cappetto
