    Bullies, by Ben Shapiro

This is the second Ben Shapiro book I’ve read. Just like the first, there was some good stuff, and some not-so-good stuff. My review of Brainwashed, by Ben Shapiro: https://youtu.be/8ptxqlvw_94 This review is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  2. 45

The Rule of Law, by Tom Bingham

My reading primarily focuses on philosophy and science. I was recommended this book by a law student as an introduction to law. Great book that covers a lot in a short time. I recommend! This video is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  3. 44

The Blank Slate, by Steven Pinker

Another review that went on longer than planned, but it’s such a great book. Easily in the Top 5. Highly recommend. A+++ This video is available on YouTube and BitChute.

  4. 43

The God Delusion, by Richard Dawkins

A very tough but fair book that I highly recommend to both the pro and anti religious. Definitely worth reading. This review is also on YouTube and BitChute.

  5. 42

    God, No! by Penn Jillette

I enjoy listening to Penn’s podcast, and if you do too, you’ll enjoy this book. This review is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  6. 41

    Economic Controversies, by Murray Rothbard

A collection of great essays by Rothbard, only recommended for those that have already read Man, Economy, and State first. Man, Economy, and State review: nkreider.com/tmr29 This review is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  7. 40

A Call to Action, by Jimmy Carter

This is my first time reading something by Jimmy Carter. He’s far more progressive than he is liberal, which I see as a negative. After reading this, I would say it’s great when speaking of foreign situations, but not so great when talking about first world countries. Do I recommend? Meh. This review is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  8. 39

Man, Economy, and State, by Murray Rothbard

A very comprehensive book on Austrian economics. Highly recommended. https://mises.org/library/man-economy-and-state-power-and-market This review is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  9. 38

Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Technologies, by Arvind Narayanan et al

I readable textbook on the workings of Bitcoin and related technologies. The information is still relevant to Bitcoin (minus the lightning network upgrade), but only lightly covers other crypto technologies that have risen since the publishing of this book. Overall, I recommend! Book: https://www.amazon.com/Bitcoin-Cryptocurrency-Technologies-Comprehensive-Introduction/dp/0691171696 Class: https://www.coursera.org/learn/cryptocurrency This video is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  10. 37

The Quest For Cosmic Justice, by Thomas Sowell

Another great book by Thomas Sowell! My TMR on Civil Rights: Rhetoric or Reality This review is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  11. 36

Austrian Perspective on The History of Economic Thought, by Murray Rothbard

A great overview of economic history from the perspective of Murray Rothbard. Free version: https://mises.org/library/austrian-perspective-history-economic-thought This review is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  12. 35

The End of Work, by John Tamny

A great book for the layman on how the world of work is much better now than it used to be, even with automation! This review is available on YouTube and BitChute.

  13. 34

The Art of The Argument, by Stefan Molyneux

A great book for the average person on using reason and evidence to create and understand arguments. It’s helped me greatly in developing my ability to debate. Highly recommend for the average layman. This video is also available on YouTube and BitChute.

  14. 33

A Foreign Policy of Freedom, by Ron Paul

This book contains transcripts of foreign policy speeches by Ron Paul. Some good stuff, if you’re fine reading speech transcripts. This review is available on YouTube and BitChute.

  15. 32

    Brainwashed, by Ben Shapiro

Ben Shapiro’s book “Brainwashed” was a great book for conservatives back in 2004, but not so great today. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, and DTube.

  16. 31

    Barbarians, by Lauren Southern

My review of Barbarians: How Baby Boomers, Immigrants, and Islam Screwed My Generation, by Lauren Southern. This review is also available in video format on YouTube, BitChute, and DTube.

  17. 30

Rules for Radicals, by Saul Alinsky

Sorry for this one being longer than usual, but I wanted to make sure I did this episode right. It’s an important book, and I recommend. This review is available on YouTube, BitChute, and DTube.

  18. 29

    Big Agenda, by David Horowitz

I’ve also reviewed another book by David Horowitz: Black Book of The American Left Vol 1, available at www.nkreider.com/tmr27 This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute and DTube.

  19. 28

The Moral Landscape, by Sam Harris

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Sam Harris, and a few bad things. I really enjoyed this book, but I hope he eventually writes a follow-up to this book with his case for objective morality. Another proof of secular morality: http://cdn.media.freedomainradio.com/feed/books/UPB/Universally_Preferable_Behaviour_UPB_by_Stefan_Molyneux_PDF.pdf This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, and DTube.

  20. 27

Black Book of The American Left (Vol 1), by David Horowitz

I have a few disagreements with David Horowitz on politics, but he definitely knows much more about the world than I do. He lived on the far left, and is now part of the moderate right. He has a lot of knowledge and I enjoyed this book. His speech at LHU: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAvXnh2HWdc&t=1756s This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, and DTube.

  21. 26

    Nullification, by Tom Woods

I really enjoy content by Tom Woods. This book was easy to read with lots of good stuff. This review is also available on YouTube, DTube, and BitChute.

  22. 25

I am John Galt, by Donald Luskin & Andrew Greta

I have different thoughts for each component of this book. I started out disagreeing with the concept of it, but I did enjoy reading it. This review is available on YouTube, DTube, and BitChute.

  23. 24

Conscience of a Liberal, by Paul Krugman

So I just read “Conscience of a Liberal” by Paul Krugman. I always recommend reading things you disagree with, but in this case I’ll save you time by telling you it’s just not worth reading. Its a book of Krugman ranting about Republicans and advocating equality of outcome, and then the publishers slapped that title on it so it would sell. It’s false advertising. It’s marketed as a response to “Conscience of a Conservative” by Goldwater. Krugman references the book twice and Goldwater once, comprising three paragraphs of a 300 page book. The book contains no mention of any principles or justification for them. And thanks to the Contra Krugman podcast, I know not to trust anything Krugman says (especially when his sources are leftist interpretations of what he references, rather than the original source). He also, at the very end, defines “liberal” as one concerned with wealth inequality and describes how progressives are basically liberals that take action more. It’s not that you shouldn’t read the book because you would disagree with it. You shouldn’t read it because there’s no actual substance to the book. No opposing arguments, just “right-wingers are racist because their speeches include far right dog-whistles to racists” One of the worst books I’ve ever read. I know I sound biased. I gave Conscience of a Conservative a good review, and this one a bad review. I’m actually a fan of liberalism, but Paul Krugman should not have been the author of this book. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  24. 23

Conscience of a Conservative, by Barry Goldwater

This is a must read for all conservatives. It’s important to recall the original principles of the conservative movement. Maybe send this to some republicans. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  25. 22

The Irrepressible Rothbard, by Murray Rothbard

This is a very enjoyable series of essays by Murray Rothbard. Definitely worthwhile if you’re a fan. Not so much if you’re not already a fan of him. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  26. 21

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen Covey

My advice: Read the table of contents, and if you haven’t heard of them before, then maybe read the book. Chances are, you’ve already heard everything this book can tell you. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  27. 20

Freakonomics, by Stephen Dubner & Steven Levitt

A decent book that works to really show the appropriate mindset when looking into things. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  28. 19

    Intelligence Reframed, by Howard Gardner

This is a newer and more updated book than Frames of Mind. If you’re going to read up on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, this is the book to read. If we’re ignoring the validity of the theory, the book is great. As for the theory though… This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  29. 18

    Win Bigly, by Scott Adams

Scott Adams is a fantastic writer and superbly explains the tactics of persuasion we saw during the election. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  30. 17

In Trump We Trust, by Ann Coulter

It took me a span of about two years to read this. It was overall a great book, though pretty outdated now. I have mixed feelings about Ann Coulter, tho this book did raise my opinion of her, because regardless of what she thinks, she puts lots of time into research when writing (at least with this book). Note: It seems like she’s pretty anti-Trump now. I don’t think it nullifies the book, because the book was a discussion of tactics, not really whether or not he would follow-through on what he said. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  31. 16

The Gulag Archipelago, by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

This was by far the most depressing book I’ve ever read. Definitely a must read. The book is very long, so I listened to a free audiobook version, located here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccASsjhhgP8 This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  32. 15

Freedom Under Siege, by Ron Paul

I wasn’t planning on reviewing this book because, unlike every other book I’ve read, I don’t remember a single thing about it. But I suppose that’s a reason to review it. I like Ron Paul, but this book didn’t withstand the test of time. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute and PewTube.

  33. 14

    The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand

If you haven’t read Atlas Shrugged, read that first. If you have read Atlas Shrugged and enjoyed it, definitely read this. This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  34. 13

    Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand

While not my favorite book, it’s definitely in my top 5, as well as the most influential to me. I first read it when I was 15, and it was my first ‘philosophical’ book. This video is also on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  35. 12

Science, Technology, & Government, by Murray Rothbard

A short but good book on government intervention in science and R&D. What is the appropriate amount of science funding? Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  36. 11

For The New Intellectual, by Ayn Rand

‘For The New Intellectual’ is a good book if you’re out to understand objectivism as quickly as possible, and aren’t willing to read Atlas Shrugged. I would also recommend ‘Goddess of The Market’ by Jennifer Burns (also reviewed on this channel) as well. Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  37. 10

    1984, by George Orwell

Everyone knows the dystopian world in 1984, but few people know the story of the main character. That’s because the main character’s story isn’t really that worth reading. Winston is only a means to explain this world. I’m glad to see the book’s purpose is to explain Orwell’s dystopian world. Fun fact: Orwell’s real name is Eric Blair, and the title was derived from the date it was written (1948, with the last two numbers switched). Also fun fact: Orwell, oddly enough, considered himself a socialist. Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  38. 9

We The Living, by Ayn Rand

I consider it my least favorite of her four fiction books. The first half is rather blah, but the second half makes up for it. If you’re a fan of Ayn Rand’s other stuff, I’d say it’s worth reading. If you’re not already a fan, I would not recommend. Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  39. 8

    Why Liberty, by Tom Palmer

The book isn’t necessarily bad. I just don’t see a purpose for it when other books/material work much better. My review of what I would recommend instead: Liberty Defined, by Ron Paul Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  40. 7

Of Thee I Zing, by Laura Ingraham

This was over 300 pages of “This is dumb because I feel it is”. I was hoping for something better. Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  41. 6

    Liberty Defined by Ron Paul

This was the first libertarian book I read. I’d say it serves as the best introduction to libertarianism. https://mises.org/library/liberty-defined-2 Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  42. 5

The Case for Discrimination by Walter Block

A book that can be best described as ‘Thought Provoking’. https://mises.org/library/case-discrimination Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  43. 4

Goddess of The Market, by Jennifer Burns

I’ve read lots of Objectivism recently, and this book is very comprehensive and accurate in describing both Ayn Rand and Objectivism. I highly recommend. If you’re an Objectivist, read this. If you just want to understand Rand and Objectivism in as few pages as possible, I’d recommend this book, along with ‘For The New Intellectual’. These are much shorter than reading all of Atlas Shrugged. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goddess_of_the_Market Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This video is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  44. 3

Civil Rights, Rhetoric or Reality by Thomas Sowell

I’ve started reading Thomas Sowell’s books, and he writes some really great stuff. This one is rather short (140 pages + 20 note pages). It’s a rather simple point he’s making, but his explanations, references, and sources, are incredibly comprehensive. Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, and PewTube.

  45. 2

Fire & Fury, by Michael Wolff

A brief summary of my thoughts on ‘Fire & Fury: Inside The Trump White House’ by Michael Wolff. A great full review of Fire & Fury:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36VrAqkt_zQ Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This review is available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, PewTube, and Minds.

  46. 1

The Ominous Parallels, by Leonard Peikoff

I’m starting a series of reviews with the goal of giving overviews of books in as short a time as possible. Let me know if you think this is TOO short. Buy the book at https://www.amazon.com/Ominous-Parallels-End-Freedom-America/dp/0452011175/ Outro Music: A New Beginning, by Bensound (www.Bensound.com) This review is also available on YouTube, BitChute, DTube, PewTube, Gab, and Facebook.
