Why do we keep following rules long after we’ve forgotten why they exist? In this episode, Anna responds to phantom shame and institutionalised obedience — the habits of fear we carry in our bodies, not our beliefs. This week, after birthdays, vertigo, and a toddler making a surprise cameo, Amber turns up with a TikTok bombshell: “Was the New Testament actually Roman propaganda?” Anna blinks. Amber shrugs. And suddenly we’re off ... wandering through history, faith, and the strange things people confidently claim on the internet. We don’t hand out answers; we just hold the question with curiosity, humour, and that quiet inner armour of knowing what we believe and why. Come sit with us, dear listener. Is celebrating Halloween flirting with the dark side, or are Christians just scared of turnips and history? Digging into Halloween like it’s a bowl of fun-size jelly sweets.
