Transition By Faith
by Miranda Queen
Welcome to Transition by Faith. We talk about faith, healing, emotional intelligence, boundaries, relationships, starting over, and the hard conversations most people avoid. I'm Miranda Queen, your host. I'm a Navy veteran, an author, and a mom. I joined the Navy at 17 and thought I'd be in forever. When that ended out of nowhere, I had to start all over. That season is where this whole show was born. Here, we talk about all of it, emotional intelligence, boundaries, relationships, men and women, starting over, and the hard conversations most people skip. We share real stories. We get vulnerable. And we learn how to move through change with faith instead of fear. Maybe you're a veteran. Maybe you're a parent. Maybe you're healing from a broken heart, or just standing at the start of something new. Either way, this isn't a show about having it all figured out. It's a place to grow, because here, we believe healing starts with honesty. If life feels

Peace Is A Better Confirmation Than Pressure
Someone can talk to you every single day and still leave you piecing things together. I lived that. And for a long time I didn't have the words for why it hurt. Then it clicked. Communication is talking. Transparency is making sure the other person has the truth they need to make an informed decision... even when they don't know the right question to ask.I'm sharing what years of relationships, family conflict, and leadership taught me about why people shouldn't have to guess where they stand with us. And why the hardest transparency I ever had to practice wasn't with anybody else.In this episode, you'll learn:The difference between someone answering your question and someone telling you the truthWhy speaking about a person instead of to them changes the whole storyWhat it means when peace shows up before the answer doesThis week, have the one honest conversation you've been avoiding. Then follow the show so you don't miss the next chapter.

The Version Of Me That Had To Die
I turned 44 and had to be honest with myself about the person I was carrying into the next season of my life. She wasn't bad. She just wasn't working anymore. We've been trained to wait. Wait until January. Wait until Monday. Wait until we fail on Wednesday and start over again next week. But we're new every day... every minute... every second. So what are we actually waiting for?In this episode, I talk about the version of me that had to die, why the doors that kept closing were never a rejection, and what it looks like when God gives you the desires of your heart instead of His purpose for you.In this episode, you'll learn:Why the thing you're praying for might be the thing keeping you stuckWhat it means when something you were once comfortable with starts to feel foreignThe one question to ask yourself this week that changes how you see your transitionAsk yourself who you're becoming. Then hit follow so you don't miss the next chapter.

Lovers to Co-Parents: The Breakup Nobody Talks About
In 2019, right before COVID, my son's father and I called it quits. We had been together five years and built a whole life we thought would last forever. Then one day, it was over.Nobody really talks about that part. We announce the relationship on Facebook, but we never announce the breakup. The breakup is silent. But there is so much in there, and that is where the real work happens. In this episode, I get honest about transitioning out of a relationship: grieving the future I had planned, doing the work on myself, and learning how to coparent my son with the same man I was heartbroken over. This one is personal. In this episode, you'll learn:Why the breakup itself is not the hard part, the transition after is, and how to actually do that workHow I used affirmations to climb out of the dark place where I felt like a failureThe one mindset shift that turned my ex into my coparenting partner, and made the whole thing easierChapters:00:00 This Is Episode Two: Transitioning Relationships00:46 Calling It Quits After Five Years03:10 Waking Up Alone and Doing the Reflection05:15 The Question I Ask Before Dating Again07:17 Grieving the Future You Planned09:17 When a Breakup Shakes Your Identity09:56 Affirmations to Climb Out of the Dark Place12:02 Learning the Coparenting Thing14:26 From Screaming Matches to Real Communication17:12 This Breakup Is Not My Identity19:37 A Single Mom, But Not a Single Parent21:59 Seeing Him as Prince's Father, Not My Ex25:46 Trusting the Process

Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway: Why I Started Transition by Faith
I joined the Navy when I was 17 years old. I thought I'd stay in for 20 years and retire. But life had other plans. One day, they told me and 3,000 other sailors that we were being let go. Just like that, the only life I knew was gone. In this first episode, I share my story with you. How I got here. How everything fell apart, and how my faith helped me put it back together. This is where Transition by Faith began, and I want you here for the very start of it. In this episode, you'll learn: • Why losing my Navy career was the scariest thing that ever happened to me, and somehow the best thing too • Why being honest and open is where real healing starts, even when it feels too scary to do • What "feel the fear and do it anyway" really means, and how I learned it hanging off the side of a mountain Chapters: 00:00 Welcome to Transition by Faith 00:40 Joining the Navy at 1701:59 The Day Everything Changed 04:26 Learning Who I Am After the Military 05:30 Why I Started This Podcast 06:05 Why Being Vulnerable Matters 07:30 What We'll Talk About Here 10:48 Becoming Softer Without Becoming Weaker 11:30 Choosing Faith Over Fear 12:30 The Day I Climbed Down a Mountain 15:44 You Are Not Alone
