Well it looks like hell has finally frozen over because something has been released on the Wilderness feed!! It’s not a wilderness episode though,its the long awaited coverage of Supanova (complete with interviews) and OzComicCon. With tongues firmly planted in our cheeks this week, we take a “serious” approach to podcasting and real time review perennially panned episode “If Wishes Were horses” look at an artistic collectable and of course, nerd corner. All this and JD does no less than 25 different accents and voices.

With the Federation’s help, Bajor plans to tap the core of one of its moons to provide much-needed electricity. An unfortunate side effect of the process is that it releases gases lethal to humanoids, so the inhabitants of the moon have been evacuated. However, several life forms are detected after the evacuation date, so Kira visits the moon to investigate.

O’Brien and Bashir are sent on a relief mission to Bajor in response to a medical emergency. Meanwhile on the station, Sisko plays mediator in a conflict between two rival Bajoran factions, the Paqu and the Navot. Arriving at the emergency location, Bashir and O’Brien beam to the surface and find no signs of disease; a man called the Sirah is dying, and the village leader believes the entire village will die with him. The Sirah awakens and proclaims that the Prophets have sent O’Brien to the village; he then asks O’Brien and Bashir to leave. Outside, Bashir informs the village leader that the Sirah is dying of natural causes. The man warns the “Dal’Rok” will destroy the village if the Sirah is not able to fend it off, but he does not reveal just what it is.

This week the Wilderness boys spent two days at a convention centre in Sydney where we got to interview Terry Farrell (Jadzia Dax), Nicole DeBoer (Ezri Dax), Craig Charles (Dave “Cinzano Bianco” Lister), Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) and Danny John-Jules (The Cat).
